If movies are included, by far my favorite is Ninja Scroll. The animation fantastic, the fight scenes are creative and don't always put the main character as the victor and it has some pretty good violence to go with the fights. It does the setting of feudal Japan quite well too. I need to watch it again, it has been too long. About a few a months maybe. :P

The anime I like isn’t the anime that people are generally into. I like the anime that Nick Jr. aired in their early years. My favorite that aired there is Maya the Bee, but that was actually made in the 1970s, so instead, I’ll go with Adventures of the Little Koala. Really nice slice of life show. Not too far behind for me would be Belle and Sebastian and The Littl’ Bits.

Any of the following: Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Cowboy Bebop. All three are near and dear to me.

I mean I really like the Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä movie, but as for series Romeo no Aoi Sora is one of my favorites. As you might be able to tell I really like adventure.

Trigun. Dorky protagonist and a priest with a crossgun with an equally bad ass name. What's not to love?

But right behind it are Cowboy Bebop and Yuyu Hakusho. Easily my top 3.

Hard to pick just one. The first ones I got into years ago were:

  • Bubblegum Crisis
  • New Dominion Tank Police
  • Vampire Princess Miyu
  • Macross
  • Tenchi Muyo

Then later on came things like:

  • Love Hina
  • Azumanga Daioh
  • Angelic Layer

I think I would also have to say Sailor Moon. I think Serena/Usagi is a funny character. I like how she likes to eat a lot and play video games.

Some of my favorite anime from the 80's and 90's would have to be:

- Dragon Ball Z
- Sailor Moon
- Voltron
- Yu Yu Hakusho
- Card Captor Sakura

I remember watching these shows back when they were on Cartoon Network. I didn't know they were anime at the time, but they were pretty awesome to watch, in my opinion. I even remember watching them on Toonami and found out years later that these shows were actually anime. :)

  • Berserk (so glad they bought it back
  • Cyborg 009 ( not a fan of re
  • Hunter x Hunter
  • Captain Herlock
  • Devilman. (Not a fan of the reboot.
  • Yu Yu Hakuso
  • Sailor Moon.

I’m always into edgy anime as a kid (aside from sailor moon and Pokémon) and would stay up late every Saturday to watch anime aside from what i’ve listed, on adult swim.
