After eating silence while his friends conversed with each other, there was a loud bang from the door, the source revealing itself as the pony Trilby Hatter. Before Astral could respond, Trilby was gone like the wind, though he did mention the library.

"Well, guess that's my cue. Later guys, remember to meet at the gate tonight."

And with one swift movement, Astral dashed out the front door like a rocket ship, making his way to the library.

@Astral Vision
As he was waiting for a response from his friends, Dynamo’s ears perked as he heard Astral’s response. He had to jump back and out of the way as Astral dashed out of the front door. Dynamo blinked in confusion, before shrugging his shoulders. “Take it easy and see you later tonight, Astral!” He waved to his retreating friend, before making his way back towards Thundy.

Thundy led Dynamo to what seemed to be an open field. "There, this should be a good spot. So you got another unicorn that's teaching you stuff too? And you said Astral was his name?" Thundy asked looking at Dynamo.

@C. Thunder Dash
The gamer pony kept following the griffon as he was soon lead towards an open field. “I guess this is a good place to practice magic, or something like that. At least we wouldn’t have to worry about hitting anything or damaging something in town.” He commented, while looking around at the location. He turned his head back to Thundy, before nodding at his questions. “Eeyup. What better way to learn magic than from a unicorn. He showed me some interesting spell to become invisible, but I wasn’t able to master it just yet. During a race yesterday, I discovered that I was able to do some elemental magic. Also, yup. His name is Astral Vision.”

"Oh invisibility spells...pft...done those so many times. And I gotta ask, what was the race like yesterday. Now I kinda regret not coming one day earlier than I had planned..." Thundy said with a short sigh. "Anyway, are you ready?" Thundy asked, gathering a load of electricity.

As Pencil was eating her treat, lost in though, she suddenly jolted at Dynamo’s screaming. Her cheeks puffed up from still having pieces of food in her mouth and her stomach lurched. It took a moment for Pencil to settle down and swallow the remaining crumbs in her mouth. She cleared her throat and took a hoof to it to make sure she wouldn’t accidentally choke.

She really wanted to shout, What is wrong with you! Why are you screaming! but quickly realized this would make her a large hypocrite. She and her sister have screamed quite a few times while they were living together without even noticing. Pencil bet, if she screamed right now, her noise compared to Dynamo’s would make his scream seem like normal volume. Pencil decided just to shrug it off and continue eating.

@Pastel Heart

Pencil noticed out of her peripherals that Pastel was looking off into the distance, staring off. Even when her very loud and very strange grandpa barged in, she was so entangled in her thoughts that she didn’t even look up.

“Hi there...uh, what’s wrong?” she asked to get her attention. There weren’t many times, if any, that Pastel wasn’t bouncing around or wanting to play. Pencil wondered what had changed in the filly. Hopefully, whatever it was, she would be able to assist in the matter. If not, then she could offer some of her art materials to entertain Pastel.

“That’s very interesting.” He remarked while writing down some notes. “So where is Ragnarok, exactly? I’m guessing it’s nowhere near Equestria. Maybe you could tell me about what your country is like? Also, I heard mention of an older sister, is she here with you or back at home? Do you have any other family members?” Silver looked up from his journal for a moment. “You can stop me at any time if you’re not comfortable with something I ask you. Just so you know, not everything I ask about will get sent back to my village. I like to get as many details as possible and then when I go to write the letter, I use the highlights from what I’ve written in my journal. This journal also helps me keep track of all the cool creatures and great friends that I’ve met during my travels.” He smiled in reminisce of some of the good times that he had experienced on this trip. “I’ve met a lot of ponies on my adventures, and sometimes it’s a bit challenging to remember all of them.” Silver remarked with a bit of laugh.

“Well, Ragnarok is a ways away from the actual jurisdiction of Equestria itself,” Kronos explained, “You see, Ragnarok and Equestria used to be one a few millennia ago, however differences in opinions on how to keep peace and order soon split the land into two separate kingdoms as the ponies now known as Rokians receded from Equestria. Despite wanting to reunite the two lands, the ponies of Ragnarok focused most of their time and energy to industrial development and wartime armament while Equestria focused on trying to unite its own tribes together to survive a harsh winter. Over time, the two lands began to become so disjointed and unrecognizable by the other that generations later the denizens of the two countries saw each other as foreigners. Again, like I explained earlier, we’re a stratocratic society led by military leadership. My nuclear family consists of my older sister, Rhea, Ragnarok’s Wrath of the Ancient Warriors, my Mother, Athena, the Grand Valkyrie of the Angels of War, and Uros, the Grand General of Ragnarok and the Conqueror of the Hellscapes. At the moment, my sister and my parents are all back at home managing Ragnarok and most likely expanding its influence by occupying neighboring cities and lands to add to the kingdom.”

Returning just as fast as he left, Trilby enters the library again. "Astral! You made it! I've got something important to tell you. But first..." Trilby lifts up a bag and shows it to Beryl. "I've got some food for you, Beryl. Let's take this conversation to the staff's lounge room. We shouldn't be eating in the regular part of the library."

Trilby guides Astral and Beryl to the lounge room. Once there, Trilby opens the bag and puts the contents on the table. There is some magic pollen, mushrooms, roses, and more! All the things Beryl asked for and then some. "The pony at the natural grocer was very smart. He knew some things about stuff that Breezies eat, and he really hooked me up. I hope this is to your liking, mini horse." Trilby says.

@Buck Testa@Ragland Tiger, @Windy Breeze 🥧

The doctor missed Boulder holding back laughter. He just popped in to deliver the good news. But Samurai caught it, and mistakes the potential laughter for pain. "Ano... Are you okay, Boulder?" But then, he seems fine, he's talking and everything. Whatever it was must have passed.

He hears Shadow make a suggestion about where he can stay. Seems like they might be coming up with some ideas. "Well, I don't know too much about that apartment complex, but I don't see why it wouldn't be a problem. In fact..." Samurai turns to Shadow, Keen, Sundae, and Bluebell. "Can I ask all you to please help Boulder get situated in Friendshire today? I hate to impose, and I'll understand if you have other things to do today. I also have a lot to do. But I hoping I can trust a least one of you."

@Emerald Heart

Samurai turns away from them, and moves on to Fable next. He puts a hoof on her shoulder. "Fable, what would you like to do? If you want to stay and help Boulder, I understand. But I'm going to pick up Pastel Heart in a moment to spend some time with her and complete a few errands I have to do around town. I was hoping you'd join us. I could use your input on some things, as we could spend more time together. But if you want to help Boulder instead, I would respect your wishes. The choice is yours." Samurai explains.

Instinctively she stuffed her face. "tux!" She said with a stuffed mouth. This time only her eyes, wings and spots had a faint glow, nothing too bright like her intenea can get but something notable.

@C. Thunder Dash

Dynamo frowned as it seemed that Thundy had scoffed at the mention of invisibility spells. "I mean, I guess it's easier for you to say. I guess without a horn, it's all about using the energy that's within you? That's still rather interesting. That, and I'm still in the learning process of invisibility spells, or spells in general. The problem is that I wasn't able to manifest any kind of magic when I was born. My doctor said that my horn was a birth defect and that magic will never happen." He sighed softly, looking up to his curved horn. It wasn't always easy talking abut it, but he knew it would be better to be explained instead of not at all. "I only discovered my magic and cutie mark at around the age of 14. So, that was five years ago and I'm still learning how to use magic effectively." He explained, before switching topics towards the race. "The racing competition was pretty hectic. If you take Mario Kart and turn it up to eleven, then you got what we had yesterday. There were some interesting contraption devices on some carts, while it was like an obstacle course with item boxes. Samurai had used the Mach 5, while I and Pastel had used a cart based in Mario Kart. Still, I'm sorry that you got to miss the race. Hopefully, there will be other races to compete in." Dynamo watched as the griffon began gathering a load of electricity, before nodding. "I'm not sure what you have planned, but I guess I'm ready."

@Kronos the Revenant

“Oh, so we all used to be together at one point. I had no idea. I wonder if Kirin and Rokian ponies ever knew each other…” Silver thought aloud. He looked at Kronos and then blinked a few times when he realized what he was doing. “Right. Well, obviously it hasn’t been anytime soon, based on how we seemingly have no knowledge of each other’s existence. But I’m glad that we got to change that, albeit in a very small way, but it’s a start!” He added. “So, what brings you to Equestria, then? Unless it’s super secret and you can’t tell me.” Silver stuck out his tongue and then grinned. “It’s too bad our nations have grown so far apart, Rokians sound like very interesting ponies. But I suppose these sorts of things are inevitable when you have such vastly conflicting viewpoints. Doesn’t mean I like it, but it just seems to be the way things go.” Silver said with a sigh.

While not directly comparable, in some ways Kronos’ story reminded him of his own. The Kirin weren’t warmongering ponies by any stretch of the imagination, but at the same time, it seemed that the Kirin were off in their own little world, separate from the rest of Equestria, despite still being a part of it. The more that Silver explored the rest of world, the more he became apparent of just how well insulated their little village had been from everypony else. Almost like it was intentional. Silver thought he had overheard something about a library in town, perhaps he could visit that later and see if they had any books on Kirin history. One thing at a time though, he still wanted to meet more ponies around town!

“I love Mario Kart. If I could go back in time and appear yesterday, I would...” Thundy said as he released a load of electricity on the floor and a it began to crackle loudly. Something began to materialize and it was it was big. It had wheels and a giant frame. It was Thundy’s Ford F-150 SVT Raptor from his game, The Crew. Packed with a 1200hp V8 that roared like a savage beast, it was a spectacle.

Pastel looked up at Pencil as if she was lost, looking around before finally speaking.

"Umm... I don't think grandpa is gonna wanna stay in Friendshire, so, I think I might have to go... I don't want to, but if grandpa says so, I will... Um, don't tell Dyny, okay? I don't want him to be sad."

Pastel gave a sad looking smile, as if doing her best to stay cheerful. Iron Shoal didn't seem to hear any of this. He was probably a bit hung over.

@Dynamo Pad @C. Thunder Dash

Dynamo seemed to be having fun without her, so Pastel just avoided his gaze and pretended not to hear for now. She didn't really wanna be sad in front of him and make him worry. She stayed by Pencil.

Iron Shoal, however, was more than willing to come see the fireworks. After promptly making a mess, he grabbed another beer and went outside to watch the antics. Seems he was curious about Pastels friends, mostly Dynamo. Every now and then, he would heckle.

"THAT TRUCK BIGGER THAN MY GRANDMOTHER! NOT A JABRONI DRIVE!"

”Well,” Kronos answered, “Like I said before, I’m the most level-headed and reasonable Rokian you’ll ever encounter for the time being. So, the purpose of me being here in Equestria is to possibly revive diplomatic bonds between Ragnarok and Equestria. My journey has taken me to lots of interesting locales and places. Of course, I do occasionally report back to the kingdom, mostly to check up on my family but they also do get info about where I go. Speaking of which.....”

He pulled out his emblem on his chest and pressed it. A hologram projected three figures. His family.

“Hey Mom, hey Dad,” Kronos greeted them, “Hey sis.....”

It looks like Fable's and Samurai's question was quickly answered. "Arigato, Sundae! You're amazing."

"Well, looks like that answers that." Samurai waves to Boulder, Bluebell, Shadow, Keen, and Sundea. "Take care, everypony! Enjoy your day. Bluebell, Boulder, welcome to Friendshire. I think you'll find it's quite easy to fit in here."

Samurai turns to Fable last of all. "Well then, shall we go?" He gives a courteous bow. Mares first, as the old saying goes. They decide to walk this time instead of teleport.

@C. Thunder Dash, @Dynamo Pad, @Pastel Heart, @ExplosionMare

It takes a moment, but Samurai and Fable make it to his house, only to find that everyone is outside while the kurokos are busy cleaning up any mess that was made inside. Samurai walks to the open field next to his house instead.

"Hey there, everypony! What's going on here?" Samurai asks, seeing some kind of large vehicle. "Also, I'm not going to be sticking around long. In fact, I actually need somepony's help."

Samurai turns to Pastel and kneels down. "Pastel-chan, I need your help. I'm on a mission with Fable, but I need your judgement and sense of taste. This is something only YOU can do... What do you say? Some fun out on the town sound good?" Samurai asks.

Samurai also turns to Dynamo. "Oh, sorry Dynamo. I hope you don't mind me taking Pastel off your hooves for a while. I know she usually hangs out with you like a brother-sister combi, but I really need some one-on-one time with her. ...Well, one-on-two since Fable will be there too."

@CameoShadowness, @Astral Vision

Trilby smiles and lets Beryl eat. He pulls up a chair and looks through the book about Breezies. "Well, now I know where to get food you like. Maybe I can ask the grocer to be your personal supplier."

Pastel was surprised to see Samurai arrive, alongside Fable, whom she actually hadn't got to talk to much since being here. She did want to get away from Dynamo for a bit, for the reasons she told Pencil... and the way Samurai described that made it sound so epic snd exciting! She smiled widely, bouncing up, all of her energy returning.

"Ooohh, sounds like an exclusive story~! Alright gang, let's do this! Adios, mamacitas!"

She stood up in a pose like she were the protagonist in a magical girl anime and jumped up and down between Fable and Samurai. She waved to her grandpa and Pencil, but oddly, not to Dynamo. Iron Shoal found something off about her mannerism but shrugged and turned his attention back to Dynamo and Thundy and the magical project they were doing. He wanted a chance to talk to Dynamo again after he was finished.

Pencil gave Pastel a sad smile, but told her calmly,

“I’ll let you tell him, okay? I hope you don’t have to leave, but if you do, I’m gonna miss you a little, too,”

She hated possibly having to see the filly go, but if her grandfather wanted her back, it’s not like she could stop him. However, she had one thing she could offer.

“If you want, I can give you something to draw. Maybe you could draw a memory you had here so you could keep it with you,” Pencil suggested. She slid the sketchbook over, flipped to a clean page. She also slid over her box of colored pencils and a single, precisely sharpened pencil.

@Samurai Equine

Pencil caught a glimpse of a brown figure walking inside. Once the light hit him some more, she discovered that Samurai had safely returned.

“Hey, Samurai! How’ve you—” she said before he dashed over with a look of importance in his eyes. He had specifically requested Pastel’s presence for whatever he was doing. Again, Pencil had no idea what was going on but she still refused to question anything.

“Um, I’ll have this here when you get back,” Pencil sheepishly told Pastel, pointing to the supplies she had previously hoofed over.

He's a pretty cool friend, but I think it would be important for you to talk to him. Seeing as how he has quite the story to tell you." He would say, giving an understanding smile as he nodded once more. "There's no need to apologize Sam. I think it's okay if you have Pastel-chan go with you.  Just make sure that she stays safe. Does this energy you have give you the ability to time travel too?" He joked with a slight chuckle, before Thundy had released the massive amount of electricity on the floor. The gamer pony's ears fell upon the sound of the loud crackle of thunder and lightning. What began to materialize was a giant vehicle with wheels and a giant frame. Upon hearing the roar of the savage machine, Dynamo whistled as he was impressed. He smiled, but it seemed a bit forced than anything. That earlier reaction from Pastel had honestly bothered him. He didn't know why, but he didn't understand why Pastel had acted the way that she did. Even so, he knew he had to still talk to the male griffon. "Uh...that's a pretty awesome vehicle, Thundy. “Uhh, how are we supposed to breath down there? Do we need equipment, or are you guys just gonna transform us?” she pondered, tapping a hoof to her chin. While he was excited to see how this exploration would go, he was also worried on possibilities that would make this journey difficult.

He explained, a thought soon came to mind. "Depending on how many of us are going. Should we have a sort of buddy system so we each have someone who's there for one another?" Before anyone can say anything, Sundae spoke up “I'm free” she turned to Keen and Shadow “Look, I know you two had something to do. You should do what you had to do. I'll take care of the Foal first” she said.

Boulder felt a bit of a sting at being referred to as "the foal." Somehow that was even worse than being called a "kid" or something he was used too. He knew this was the fault of how he looked. It wasn't her fault that he inhabited this short, stubby legged body with huge eyes doe eyes and stuff like that. Of course he looked like a 'foal' to everyone there. Hell he was exploiting that to fly under the radar so he should expect certain indignities like that.

He leaped off the bed and landed next to Sundae, though he jumped slightly too hard and almost hit the ceiling before he arced down and dropped onto his hooves next to her. Controlling his strange strength was going to be rather difficult. Up till now he had either been fighting for his life burrowing through the earth, or he was tossing ponies around like rag dolls in a panicked state. He hadn't really been in a situation where he had to use this strange compact body in more sensitive situations. He lifted up on of his hooves and winced a bit as he saw he had cracked the flooring a little.

"Thanks for helping me out Ms. Delight."
