Last time you visited the Zoo?

Not since I was a kid... I guess around 2010 or so. My favorite animal was probably the polar bear since it was my school mascot.

Oh wait, last November I visited the light show at my city’s zoo, but you couldn’t see any animals then, since it was night and too dark outside :P. They had a holiday market and stuff. Didn’t really feel like visiting a zoo.

Damn, all you guys haven’t been to the zoo in years when I go a few times each year. The last time I went was this last winter!

As I've grown up I've just lost interest in things like zoos tbh.

I went to Disney's Animal Kingdom early last year. It isn't exactly a zoo in the usual definition but it does have lots of animal exhibits and it's really amazing. I like the tigers there most I guess, when they're visible. Most of the time I like to watch bears at the zoo because the little cubs can be so blasted funny!

I visited the zoo like, back in March before all this Covid stuff happened.

I really wanna go back one of these days, when all this stuff is over.

It was last year in January for me. The zoo I always go to (usually yearly, but this year we didn't due to Covid) has kangaroos roaming freely about, and visitors were free to pet and feed them!

Man, I think it was several years ago. Me and my mom went to downtown Saint Paul to go to the History Museum, but for some odd reason the History Museum was closed on Mondays? :huh: Still not sure why, but because we were already right in downtown and not far from the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, we decided to head there instead! And admission into the Como Park Zoo is free as well B)

Last March, right before everything shut down. Little did I know that would be the last big outing that year. ;-;

When I was very young. I'd go again but I feel guilty supporting captive animals for entertainment.

I like llamas, zebras, and birds.

I want to go up to Edinburgh and visit the zoo there when the pandemic is over. They have giant pandas and koalas.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.

I was just at the Dublin Zoo today. I had been quite often but no visit was as good as this one. There wasn’t a single animal we didn’t see. The weather was gorgeous which definitely helped. Often with the Irish weather, animals aren’t as active as they should be, particularly the African ones.

The funniest moment was when the orangoutangs came out after a feeding. They share their enclosure with a couple of gibbons and they have a wire to swing on going over the visitor path. The biggest guy was sitting on the ground enjoying the attention he was getting when suddenly the gibbons started to make a racket on the wires. A gibbon and an orangutang were both up there play-fighting when they suddenly became stagnant. A zookeeper politely but quickly told everyone to back up. We all moved back and then the animals did a massive crap and pee from above that landed directly on the path. It seemed to go on for about five minutes. When it stopped, I looked back at the big orangutang who promptly rolled over in irritation. I guess he was annoyed that he was no longer getting all the attention. :ButtercupLaugh:
