Hmm. Well for starters I'd be in complete awe. After realizing it wasn't a dream/convincing myself that I haven't gone crazy, I'd probably try and stay rational and calm. I would then seek out Twilight and do my best to explain my situation to her/enlist her aid in helping me get settled. She seems like she'd probably handle seeing a human the best out of any pony.

After getting acclimated, well, I don't know. I'm probably severely underestimating the effects of sudden long-term separation from home, but even if I could get sent back to this world I don't know if I would want to. I have a good life here, yes, and I'm generally quite a happy person, but that hasn't stopped me from pondering "what if?" What if I could start anew in another world?

To be honest, I would probably choose to stay. Such a choice would be made easier if I knew that I could return to our world at anytime, but if it was strictly a one-way trip I would most likely remain. Yes, I would feel bad about leaving people with no explanation of what happened to me, but such things fade with time.

Then I would just obtain my Equestrian citizenship (if such a thing existed), find a place to live, learn everything I could about my new home, and become a productive member of society. If I could be turned into a pony, great. If I had to stay a human, so what? I'd still be in Equestria, and either way it probably wouldn't be difficult to make friends, as no doubt everypony (including the Mane 6) would be exceptionally curious about the human/former human in their midst (Assuming they didn't find me disgusting/harbor any ill will toward me).

So yeah, I'd just keep on living life, working toward achieving love and happiness. Just as I intend to do in this world.

There's my two cents for ya :)

I'd try to make friends, obviously. I'd obviously go along with it and try to have the best time possible while making sure the ponies around me did the same. Anyways... :)

If you want me to respond, please quote me.

I apologize for any inconvenience but for the time being my MLP stop motion project is on hold.

The only downside to that for me is leaving my family. I'll be afraid I'll miss them too much, but hopefully if I do go, I'll turned into the pony version of myself that I created, and then finally, FINALLY...win Twilight's heart!

Of course not. I mean really, who wouldn't want to stay on earth and suffer through a miserable Senior Year in High School, then go to college at age 16, still not being full emancipated from their parents and as such still being controlled with an iron fist, then getting a stupid job at McDonalds and then work there for a million years before dying a miserable, poor, evil old Alaskan hermit.

And what's the alternative? Living in a Garden of Eden-esque paradise, where having a job is only a suggestion, getting to piss around and do nothing 24/7, occasionally having the privilege of being a badass and saving the world, a world where everyone is pleasant and courteous, and no bickering about trivial matters. Hmph, who would want to live there?

*sarcasm*

Of course I would open the box! The only thing I would be miffed about is that there's no computers in Equestria, but I'd make do. I would choose to be a Pegasus (duh, look at the avatar, boopsy). I really have no ties to this world. I try to be as emotionally distant as possible so when all my friends and family die, I won't be too sad.

Not if I beat you to it :o

My life on Earth has:

internet, technology, books

Equestria:

ponies, magic, that medieval feeling, more ponies, books on topics I'd probably read, being able to talk to the six ponies that are the only source of my sanity, even more ponies, random Pinkie Pie stuff, and several more.

I'd go without a second thought. There is much I want to know about Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle is best pony, and I'm willing to explain logically for that to be true!

By the way, mine and Twilight's personalities have a lot of similarities, maybe hardly any difference. I checked.

Hmm... tough question. Most probably I would try to get into a library (not Twilight's. I doubt I would find what I want) and do research on war tactics and history. Then try to become an officer in their army.

I'd go see how Pinkie reacts to Cupcakes, then, I really don't know...be a puppet for a hopefully delighted Rarity so I could get some new, shiny Equestrian clothes? After that I'd get Rainbow to fly me to Gilda so I could give her some Poison Joke and troll her by talking about the awesomeness of planes.

Then, I'd taste-test with the Apple family.

I don't know, but I know that it would have been the happiest moment in my entire life. But I would have missed my friends, family and my bass guitar very much though.

I would do alot of things...

Top 5

5: Find Trixie so she may bare my OC`s child

4: Become friends with Mane 6

3: Rip gilda`s wings off

2: Become my OC

1: Marry Luna

Have an affair and then marry a princess? Good luck with that.

If i were a human i'd be under constant research from Clestia, Twighlight and pinkie pie, aside from that i'd amaze ponies with my hornless magic.

If i woke up in ponyvile as my OC, well then i'd have the best time of my life.

This is one of the better ones I've seen written. I've already posted mine in this thread, somewhere :P

Anyways, I must comment, though: on the part:

"Yes, I would feel bad about leaving people with no explanation of what happened to me, but such things fade with time."

Not really. Death of someone you know is more like a pain someone gets used to, but it never gets better.

Though, honestly, as a religious person I see it as a little bit of a relief. Life is like Act 2 of a play, an epic struggle, and only after death, in act 3, does the resolution and happy ending come. Only if they bear through Act 2, though. That's not to say life isn't great, it's just it's not as great as a perfect world or even Equestria. But hey, how interesting would a play be if there was no hard conflict? You can't prove who you are without any conflict.

I'm almost considering writing about humans sent to Equestria, though it would be a somewhat blatant self-insertion, and everyone would want to see the main character do what they'd want to do :P

It would be overwhelmingly amazing, I'd try to befriend as many ponies as i could, and since I'd still be human explain a little about myself.

Ah, yes, I realize it may have been a bit foolish for me to word it like that. What I was trying to say, rather, was that for me, I don't think the pain of leaving this world behind would linger for any overwhelmingly large amount of time. Again, I may be seriously underestimating the effects of permanently leaving behind people I've known all my life (I almost assuredly am), and I truly do enjoy my life here, but I think that a life in Equestria would have more than enough beauty to greatly dull any pain that may result.

Also, after getting used to living there, I see very few reasons as to why one could not carry out a happy life as he would have done had he remained in our world.
