If you could introduce a new pony, what would it be like?

If you had the chance to create a new character for season 3, what would it be like? Would it be a Pegasus, Unicorn or earth pony? Would it be nice, evil or just weird? These are just ideas, go crazy!

It would be an Earth Pony who doesn't show much emotion and is one of those cool/awesome characters that everyone loves, like from an anime.

I'd like to see a Unicorn, who's a little shy, but not as shy as Fluttershy. Everpony let's him mind his own buisness, but when it comes down to danger, he's the most dangerous thing in Equestria. That'd make a good episode to me anyway, like he keeps getting teased by the town, then saves their lives by helping the Mane 6.

A male Alicorn antagonist- make him devious and evil with a hint of BlueBlood's personality

but from a design stand point there are many OC's iv seen around that would be great addition if the MLP would notice and care to do so (that would be a true tip of the hat to bronies )

Personally, I would probably say I would add another Pegasus, like Rainbow dash, but male so they can argue and compete against each other, but then the mane 6 accept him into the group. I say this as I think it would be funny seeing him and Rainbow getting into weird predicaments

I would do one of two things.

One: Make Celestia and Luna's Parents. To have the creators of time and space show themselves would be kinda epic.

 

Two: Give Celestia and Luna a Brother (younger or older whatever fits best) But with his sisters being the sun and moon he would have to be the earth.

Well first off, I do not think there is room in the mane six for a seventh pony. They are just too close to each other for a newcomer to really be able to get that close to all of them -- plus the division caused by that they are elements of harmony and the 7th would be an outside force.

 

So there is kind of a glass ceiling at the strong background level for new ponies.

 

That said I wouldnt mind if a pony similar to mine (a pegasus with an interest in magic who finds her own way to accomplish some very different things but will never be able to say use telekenesis) being in ponyville. Especially if said character doesnt necessarily get along with celestia but is closer to luna.

Naw, but seriously... I can't think about any character to add to the main story. But honestly, in my opinion, maybe it could be pretty interesting to see the Mane 6 interacting with an Alicorn around their age.

I would add some Old male Unicorn. He would be some kind of wizard. He would be very wise but also kind of like an eccentric old man... err stallion. The mane six would meet him on there travels, think hes just some crazy old guy living ine middle of nowhere, but in the end he helps them all useing some kind of powerful spell and is very wise, and somehow teaches them a lesson.

i guess he would be kind of like a crazy male celestia without the wings. Very wise, old and crazy XD.

Apparently, according to a recent Will Anderson EFR interview he's a fan of the show and had talked to the production staff, so why not?

 

He would totally be a reality bending Earth Pony.

I would be upset if they added another main character.

It would be too much change to the show.

A lot of people would probably get mad.

And I don't want a reference to memes or famous bronies, because it would ruin the show.

I would introduce a character that isn't a pony. Rather, they'd be a new zebra, buffalo, griffon, mule, cow, pig, or sheep. If this show is really about how diversity is good and that having a diverse group of friends is wonderful, why not introduce other species as secondary or main characters?

I would introduce a unicorn that comes from a neighboring country and he has very modern technology. He would then proceed to prove that Celestia is just tricking them that she can raise the sun and that she is keeping them in the dark ages so that they don't see anything wrong.
