Here is a cheap one on ebay. With a funny picture too.

According to the item's description the cards that came in it have been removed. The main reason I want one is for the exclusive card found within.

I'll let you know if a legit cheap one comes up. I do think that I saw a couple for more like $20, which is still more than $12 but not by much.

Thanks. Paying a little extra is fine with me. I wouldn't expect somebody to resell one for the same price they paid for it. Here's hoping I can find one in a store before I have to resort to that.

 

Back when Zecora was new I recall some people complaining that their Toys R' Us stores didn't only not have them in stock, but didn't plan on carrying them. I bought three additional ones right before the price hike in case I ever met somebody who couldn't find one. Since I know how frustrating that is I would either sell them at cost or give them away. Doesn't feel right to gouge people like that.

Where are you buying pony stuff! I have bin to like 10 places is La. And all of them have no pony stuff. I had to get it all online. And My tin was $50 where do you get it for $12?! I'm really mad!

Yeah, I feel you. Virginia eventually gets most things even if we're behind everybody else. Walmart carries a lot of stuff, as does Target and Toys R' Us. Toys R' Us and Walmart have some exclusives that you won't find anywhere else, and exclusives can't normally be bought from their website; you have to go to a store to get them.

I saw tins the other day at Meijer as well. If you live in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or Illinois and you have a Meijer or 5 nearby, you can probably find it there as well.

For those who don't have and weren't considering one of the card binders from Enterplay, take a look at the insert that came with it. (click for full size)

 

 

There is a special 6-card pack that comes with it, the "Discord pack." You can't get this anywhere else, so if you're trying to get them all, you really should buy the binder.

I've heard of the trading cards, but never bothered to see what they look like! D:

 

They look super cool. And your very lucky to meet another brony! The only problem is that I'm working on my Pokemon card stash, so I'll have to buy some of those trading cards later. How much cards come in each pack? I'll be sure to buy some in the future.

 

I was also looking at the Hot Topic site for Pokemon/Pony merchandise I could get. They have such great items, and there's so much to choose from! They also have the trading cards at Hot Topic too, but I think Target or even Wal-Mart may have them.

Walmart and Target have been known to carry them, but I have a hard time finding them there. Hot Topic is more likely to carry them. There are four cards to a pack, and they sometimes include a pop-up standee, sometimes they don't. Every pack always includes a temporary tattoo of a character or cutie mark.

 

 

EDIT: Alright. Opened all 27 packs I had laying around and put them in my binder. As expected, I have a ton of duplicate common cards. I also have an extra Royal Wedding Rainbow Dash and an extra Mare Do Well & Daring Do hero card.

The best by far though, was one of the location cards. I won an autographed card of my choice signed by the voice actress of my choice! I sent my winning card off today and I will put up a picture when I get it.

Congratulations on winning an autographed card! I'm done with packs, so I won't be getting anymore chances.

 

I should be completing my set 1 collection in a few weeks. I only need a handful of foils and commons, but most of the Gold Series cards.

 

I wish those standees were a little more rare. I had a complete set out of the box I bought, and anytime I bought boosters, the rare card would be a standee. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

The problem is... I have a bajillion common cards that I don't know what to do with. I could sell them on ebay for a dollar each. Maybe. I'll think about it.

 

The only cards that I am missing now are:

Regular Foil Rarity

Gold Princess Luna

Rainbow Dash Promo

Applejack Promo

 

 

I now have almost every card except for the RD Promo and the Discord gold box topper. My AJ promo is in the mail, and I'm getting my Derpy promo from a friend that went to comic con sometime soon.

Did you get your AJ promo from eBay? I wish that people actually sold that card for what it is worth and not $100+. If the Rarity promo card can be sold for that much, all of the other promo cards should be sold for less than that. I am looking at you, Rainbow Dash sellers and bidders.

 

I do intend on getting gold Luna from eBay in the very near future. I would like to trade for Rarity though. I have foil cards that I could trade.

 

I have no idea what I can do with all of my extra cards... I tried selling a foil card on eBay once and no one bid. Guess I will have to keep trying if I want to get rid of all of my extras.

I've bought like 4-5 booster boxes, lol. Got all of them except the Gold Twilight. Not that interested in those Convetion promos as their prices are ridiculous.

 

If anyone has that Twilight, I got a couple gold cards and all of the rest of the cards repeated.

Yeah, try $500.

 

You would be better off buying a couple of the boxes and then trading online and buying foil cards from eBay. I have probably spent about $200 in trading cards. Which is ridiculous but I have no regrets lol. I am slowing down now because I have almost all of them.

So apparently, the enter-play store had 50 Rainbow Dash cards around 12 hours ago, and 50 Applejack cards around 5 hours ago both for $4. I can't believe I missed the RD one T__T

Yeah, I missed 'em, too. But then again, most people aren't going to be on their site at around midnight for some promo cards. It was a really lucky discovery for those that got them.
