Decided to try out Xenonauts, as I heard it's similar to X-COM: UFO Defense (supposed to be a spiritual successor, in fact).

 

I like it so far. The air combat is neat, the ground missions have a nice, ominous atmosphere, and the actual combat feels smoother and more 'modern' rather than 'futuristic' like X-COM did (at least, for now. I imagine I'll be whipping out plasma/laser weapons, or something along those lines, soon enough).

I just started playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for a few hours after installing Morrowind Overhaul to it, playing as a female Redguard.  It's fun, but the combat sucks and I also get a low FPS.

Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One) - Really fun game. I enjoy that it actually has weather effects like rain, unlike Forza 5 (Which I also enjoy very much).

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - So much fun but that is to be expected for a Smash game. It does not disappoint in my opinion.

I've got a couple of games going on and off I've been playing.

 

First, there's Cave Story, which is pretty badass.

 

 

Nifty little game. You can always tell when the developer had fun creating a game instead of just doing it for money. You can always sense that little enjoyment in every movement - and this game smacks you with it as soon as you start playing. It's just got that purity to it. It's fun and it sucks you in, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. I really have been getting into it when I play and I'll be moving around in my chair and getting all into it I'm generally very static at my computer, too. Only thing that really moves is my hands when they swipe against the keyboard - other than that, I'm like stone. I love it when I play a game that makes me jump around in my chair, and this game certainly does that  It helps that the main character looks kinda like me Can't wait to see what else it has in store.

 

The other one is Tales of Monkey Island.

 

 

This game, like every other game in the Monkey Island series as well as the game I mentioned above, is one that gets me jumping around in excitement as I sit at my computer It's a different kind of excitement than Cave Story, though, in the sense that it's an excitement from accomplishment as opposed to intensity. Whenever I solve one these complex-as-buck puzzles, it fills me with the excitement and pride of accomplishment - it's really magical and uplifting when you solve one these on your own. Throw in enough humor to make your head spin, it's one hell of a good time I fell in love with the Monkey Island series rather quickly, and Tales has done nothing but cement how much I love it

I am a Dalish Elf, which is pretty fricken' legit. All the humans are kind of racist douchebags to poor Theron  

 

Love RPGs like this, by the way. Traditional ones Lots of amazingness in character creation and there's so much to do and so much stories and development and It's really legit, man.

 

Also, best party member and the one I'm romancing -

 

 

Morrigan is a pretty kickass gal Allistair is a close second, but romancing Morrigan has probably put her ahead in what would otherwise be a tie. Not gonna undercut Allistair - he's very humorous and has amazing development despite providing good comic relief. Morrigan is just really great though - amazing development, a lot of mystique about her, and really fun to romance her, but it is indeed a grueling task. Worth in the end, from what I hear.

 

So lots of good things about this game. It's pretty much sucked me in to the point where I'm pondering taking a hiatus from the forums to play it
