Custom built rig here too.

Case: Corsair Vengeance something something. It's the only case in the Vengeance line. Google it.

Motherboard: Asus P8 Z something something. Too lazy to look at the box behind me.

CPU: Intel Icore I5 quad-core at 3.1 GHz a core.

GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 560 overclocked.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance two 4gb sticks at 2133.

HDD: 2 TB (A Seagate I think) at 7200 RPM. The fastest I could find for under $1000.

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 RX

OS: Windows 7

Keyboard: Logitech Wave

Mouse: Logitech G9.

Headset: Logitech G330.

Surround sound: A six year old 5.1 satellite speaker system from Logitech. My dad had it for his old desktop.

Monitor: Dell Ultrasharp 21.5' U2212h or something like that.

I'm hoping to get enough money to upgrade to an EVGA Nvidia GTX 670 soon though. Overclocked of course.

No extra cooling stuff yet, that'll come soon though. I just finished building this three weeks ago or so.

Anyway, everyone should build their own PC! So much better than buying one.

OK LET'S DO THIS (Eventually I'll get a new desktop someday, but I just use my laptop for now)

MSI GT-60

(Internal)

15" 1920x1080 Matte Screen

Ivy Bridge 3rd Generation Intel i7-3610QM (Quad Core) Processor 2.3 Ghz (3.3 Ghz when overclocked)

12GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

But it does have 2 USB 3.0 ports (along with 2 other USB 2.0 ports)

Razer Orochi and Logitech MX Anywhere Mice

No external keyboard right now :/

Fiio E09K Amp with E17 DAC (I use Ultrasone Pro 900 headphones with it)

That's pretty much it as of now...

I do have a Dell XPS desktop, but I don't really use it at all (my family does)

I got a custom build that has been upgraded part by part over the years.

AMD Phenom II 955 BE at 3.6 GHz. Can't OC any higher

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to keep the fernus cool

8 GB of G Skill DDR3 1333 RAM OC'd to ~1500 with 8-8-8-21 timings

Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H Motherboard that doesn't like to boot from USB

MSi Twin FROZR Raedon 7870 at factory clocks

Seasonic X 650 watt PSU for some proper stable voltage

1 Seagate Barracuda 500 GB HDD

1 Hitachi Deskstar 160 GB HDD both of which are 7200 RPM

Asus Xonar D1 soundcard for some proper DAC action

Sony Optiarc DVD+-RW burner

Thermaltake X-Ray Cupholder and Cig lighter. Arguably the most important part of the build.

All of this is crammed into a Cooler Master Storm Scout especially the GPU. Very long card.

Monitor is an Asus IPS 21.5 inch display at 1920x1080

Waiting for Haswell before the next upgrade. I want TSX dammit!

main:

AMD FX8120 OC-4.2Ghz(cooled by H80)

Gonna throw piledriver into that?

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

Case: NZXT White Phantom

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX (I like everything about it except the Realtek NIC)

Processor: Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz (This was the slowest model I could find of the Phenom II. I went with the cheapest one I could find because they all have unlocked multipliers. This guy is now running at 4.1 GHz, the same as the fastest model.)

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws, 7-8-7-24, 8GBs (My board couldn't get the timings right automatically so I had to set them myself.)

Video: Radeon 6970 (So far it's managed to handle everything I care to throw at it.)

Audio: I use a combination of the integrated audio on my board and my video cards's audio capability via HDMI.

Hard Drive: Seagate 2TB.

Input: An unremarkable, wireless Microsoft keyboard and a rather bland, cheap Kingston optical mouse. So long as input devices are comfortable, I'm happy. Don't need much more than that.

Operating Systems: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit for most of my gaming, Windows XP for legacy stuff that refuses to work with anything else, and Linux Mint 12 KDE edition.

Now I have set mine up a bit differently:

Processor: Quad Core Intel Q9300 2.5 GHZ

8 GB of 8500 RAM

1 TB HD with 62 MB Cache

2X Sly'd Geforce GTX 8800

1000 watt power supply

It runs pretty much anything...

Also a 22" LCD Monitor... I'm not to keen on massive monitors...

Geez, I feel like I have one of the slowest computers on the forum.

Model: Gateway E 4160-S

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13 GHz

Memory: 2 GB

Video: Onboard Intel GMA 3000

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit

HDD: 80 GB SATA, 40 GB IDE

Optical: DVD/RW

Monitor: Compaq WF 1907 // 19'' WideScreen

Yeah, just enough to be perfectly usable. I'm running 32 Bit Windows because I have some older games that won't work under 64 Bit without using a Virtual Machine. I'm looking to upgrade the RAM and add in a video card sometime soon, but my selection is kind o limited, since my computer can only take Low Profile cards. My max RAM is 8 GB, which I'm slowly working my way up to.

So, what can it do? Well, it does the basics pretty well, Firefox, Office, etc. It plays games relatively well, but its somewhat lacking. Portal is rather laggy, even on optimal settings for my computer. Portal 2 kind of somewhat works. Sonic CD (Steam 2011) doesn't work because of the onboard video.

Good luck running Crysis.

Ironically, sometimes trying to log into PlayOnline is slow. Thankfully I'm not playing FFXI right now, or I'd probably be playing it on my PS2! It works well though, and I don't plan on getting rid of it for a while.

Well....

Intel I5 dual core 2.50Mz processor with hyperthreading, so it acts like 4 cores.

6GB of RAM (which I have maxed out multiple times.) I'm upgrading one of my cards to an 8 so I'll have 12GB soon.

Intel 4000 graphics card. (Eugh.) I can't change it so I'm stuck with the thing.

15.7" monitor. (Laptop)

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

650GB or so HDD space. (Half of which is taken up.)

If I had a job it would be even better, but I was lucky enough to afford this one. So I'm satisfied with it.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Memory: 4GB DDR3

Graphics: ATI HD4890 1GB, it can run BF3 on Medium at 1680x1050 with a fairly decent framerate.

My other computer is a MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i5 processor and 3GB of RAM.
