Favorite MLP Shipping and Why?

Sparity all the way. It's really the only shipping that I could actually see potentially happening in the show. Plus Spike and Rarity are my two favourite characters from the show
I think if there was a 7th element of harmony of love, I reckon Spike would be the one to wear it. He certainly expresses the most amount of love for people than anyone else (at least out in the open more than being subtle about it), and part of his character is being the hopeless romantic after all

I love Shipping though the best ships are Fluttershy/ Discord and Big Mac/Twilight and any love for Zecora is good. Rarity and Spike is best in the show.

If I was going to choose a shipping, I'd go with Cadance and Shining Armor. Yes I know that they are canon. I can't help usually going for canon couples. They are so cute, and I've been reading this cute blog on Tumblr called High School Cadance which makes them all the more adorable imagining how their relationship came to be.

 

I could end up liking another shipping, who knows. I didn't like any other shippings up to this point but if I read more fanfictions that could change but may not. /shrugs

I don't know why, but I like Sparity. I know Rarity doesn't always treat him well, but it's the only canon ship, and when they have a positive interaction, it's really sweet. Secret of My Excess was the first episode to me go daw, so whatever. Dem the brakes.

I really like Spike With Sweetie Belle. I never really got the Spike and Rarity thing.Spike is much younger than Rarity, so it doesn't really make sense. But Sweetie Belle is the sister and about Spike's age range. And also, that photo at the end of A Canterlot Wedding with Sweetie Belle and Spike dancing together was adorable.

I think they'd make a good couple, both being expert flyers, and have similar personalities, and it is possible, since one day RD might become a wonderbolt and meet him.

I've always liked Rarity x Elusive from On a Cross and Arrow.  I don't know if it counts because Elusive is technically a fan-made character, even if he is literally male Rarity. 

 

Yeah, it might seem kind of strange, but think about it.  Who's the ideal mate for Rarity?  A stallion who's dashing, passionate, stylish, and gentlemanly, but also has a good heart and is considerate of others.  That *is* a gender flipped Rarity, aka Elusive.  Plus the whole "male version of herself" thing feeds into Rarity's very healthy sense of vanity (She's my favorite pony, but yeah, she does have that in spades). 

 

If I were to limit myself to purely canon characters, I'd go with Cheerimac.  I like the playful little connection that they shared in Hearts and Hooves day, as small as it was (discounting the entire time of the love potion spell here) and their personalities seem to complement each other very nicely. 

 

The rest of the characters I really can't see working in any kind of romantic relationship.

Doctor Derpy, with TwiShy coming in close second. Doctor Derpy for obvious reasons: supposedly dumb paired up with super smart time traveller, that sounds a lot like me and my crush. Except the time traveller bit, lol. TwiShy because it just seems adorable. They seem like a perfect pair.

On a serious note, I think the Cheerilee X Mac relationship is one that would actually work in the show itself. I would honestly not be surprised if they got married later in the series, and I'd actually like to see it happen!
