Post either yes or no and why.

I personally love his style of dubstep I think its truly unique, his style of dubstep might be a little "weird" to some of us but overall his style is different from the rest in a good way.

I am not sure honestly,

To be fair, it depends on the song

Example: Levels is one of my favorites done by Skrillex

I also liked Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites

One of my least favorites out of him would have to be Bangarang

Not a big fan of that one

I like most of Skrillex's tracks, but all of the Zedd remixes of his songs are amazing. Originals that I like are Breakin' A Sweat, Kyoto, Devil's Den, Scatta, All I Ask Of You, and Syndicate.

But it's not dubstep, it's brostep, the American stepchild of dubstep, with more EDM roots and different technical styles than dubstep, but that's just nit picky stuff.

skrillex? Well, I don't "hate" him, I just dislike his massive pre-teen fanbase which has been annoying me to hell with straight up crap dubstep remixes. The other hand is, his music is alright, it lacks my general taste but some of his music were honestly, pretty cool, despite being a long time Drum and Bass fan, so I'm used to the aggressive electronic sounds some of you might "hate" him for.

I don't like him as person, just like Deadmau5, but I respect them for their talent

and one more thing ,.... He doesn't make dubstep

It really depends on the song. I really like Kyoto (except for the Sirah part, she's annoying), I enjoyed Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, and Bangarang wasn't too bad either (again, except for Sirah's "contributions" to the song). However, a lot of his songs sound like boring repeats of each other. I don't think he sucks, but there are vastly better electronic artists out there.

I don't hate his music although I usually find it annoying. There is about two songs that I can slightly enjoy. I enjoy dubstep, hardstyle, techno, and other stuff like that (So I don't hate the 'genre') but his music lacks something... Maybe it's because it's to repetitive, unoriginal on the fact that it sounds pretty much the same to as other songs (again on the repetitive thing), the fanbase is annoying (like all fanbases that get up in your face about it, so really ignore the whole fanbase is annoying thing; all fanbases get annoying esp. if you're not part of them)

So really I don't listen to it but it's better than Bieber (except in the case of if I had to choose to either have Skrillex blasting or Bieber moderately playing. I would choose Bieber)

I can't "hate" anyone being a Jedi.  But I just really find that dubstep gets on my every last nerve if I listen to it.  It melts my brains into molten lava, and I find the need to destroy whatever the source is in a violent matter.  But no, I don't hate him.  I just don't like dub step.  A lot.  A lot A lot.  However, I do take a slight interest in Wubstep.  Just because it's ponies.

He doesn't do only dubstep lol.

As far as I'm concerned hes good. Hes one of the few people where I actually like majority of the music on an album. Usually I only like one song.

Dubstep is cool and all but I still don't really like or hate Skrillex so my opinion about him is pretty neutral. I don't mind listening to a song or two from him or a collab song he made with someone.

I think 'hate' is a strong word, but I do honestly think his recent songs are pretty bad or at least not as good as his other songs. I used to like his old songs like 'Cinema' and 'Nice Spites and Scary Monsters' but now I stopped listening to him and more brony musicians.

As much as I may seem like it, I don't really hate him per say. I am not that big a fan of his music and I think it's unfair that he is so popular while thousands of (in my opinion) better artists go relatively unrecognized. On another note, the band he used to be in (Yes, he was in an emo/ post-hardcore band) is not too shabby and a few of his songs are pretty good, like Rock 'Nand Roll and Scary Monsters and Niced Sprites.

I don't hate him. I find most of his music good to listen to, and it stands out from the rest of the known Dubstep artists out there. Just try listening to Scary monsters and Nice sprites and compare it to the other dubstep songs out there.

At times, I can listen to his music. However, some of his overhyped songs like Bangarang I don't really like. I feel like his music can be awesome when you listen to it for the first time. But after awhile, it can get really annoying.

There are definitely better artists out there.

Like everpony else said, I don't hate him and the only song of his I really like is "Bangarang"...

But his FANBASE.... Jeez, it seems to me all Skrillex fans do is go on other dubstep videos and complain about how much they rip off Skrillex and how awesome he is.

If I wanted to hear about him, i'll watch his videos.

I don't mind if you like him....  <_<

His fanbase irratates me as well. I'm also not really a fan of the genre. It's okay, but I prefer songs with vocals that aren't remixed to hell (with some exceptions).

I liked him when I started to listen to dubstep. But then,

Monstercat appeared.

Anyway, I think his songs are very, very, very overused everywhere and that type of dubstep... No, I don't really like it. The only song I like is With You, Friends I think it was.

His music sounds extremely garbled and very irritating for my ears to listen to. I generally hate any hardcore electronica/dubstep music that just uses too many club/house sounds and tones to make the composition.

I like Skrillex. He's my favourite Dubstep artist as well as Deadmau5 and Nero. I know Dubstep is rather mainstream, but i don't listen to it because everybody else does. I don't think I'm cool or that I'm better than others, I just like the music!

If you are referring to the old style of dubstep that originated in London, then I can agree with you.  However, Skrillex is almost soley responsible (I say almost because I'm sure there was less popular artists that did what he did) for what most of us call dubstep today.

As for the topic, I don't exactly dislike him.  I just don't listen to him.  I appreciate him for his revolutionizing of dubstep (I enjoy it a lot more than traditional dubstep).  I just enjoy other artists more.  I have a single song, First of the Year - Equinox, on my playlist from him.  Everything else is a large group of varying artists.  For some reason, though, the only dubstep artist (I'm not sure if that's what you would call them) that has left me wanting more is Knife Party.  Maybe it's just because I like Pendulum so much.
