Lucky Star 972 November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 I have to say the part in the season finale where Twilight's tree house was destroyed. it was just a fight scene until that happened, then it got real. that place had been her home for the entire show, then it was just a pile of ruble. and then if you count the japanese MLP manga where the tree is sentient...... Scene in Magical Mystery Cure where they blast Twilight & she vanishes. You know they have to be thinking "Did we just kill our friend?" Just the pure cruelty of it is really really upsetting...especially since I'm in an art career and am probably throwing my life away on frivolous pursuits that nopony else gives a flying feather about... kanashimi purinsesu 244 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 The episode 'Secret of my Excess', the scene where Spike and Rarity were falling and Spike tried to admit his feelings to Rarity because he thought they were going to die. The episode 'Putting your hoof down', the part where Fluttershy locked and isolated herself in her cottage because she was afraid of hurting another ponies feelings. You could really see the depression of her regret kicking in. Episode 'Party of One' with Pinkie Pie's misconception about her friends thinking they didn't like her anymore. This really hit me close to home cause for me it wasn't a misconception. Just a clash cause of my disorder I guess. But the anger, the sadness, the mania and optimism, the fast cycle of depression and back to happy to mistrust, this episode is amazing because i relate to it and feel it. Oh also the episode 'Flight to the Finish' when Scootaloo obsessed over her lack of flight and thought she wasn't good enough. I felt EXTREMELY bad because i have similar feelings and related really fast to her dilemma. It especially sunk in hard after you could see the amount of effort she put into trying to fly and it made her sad and full of self doubt. The one scene in 'Dragon Quest' where Spike wanted to know where he came from it and had tears rolling out of his eyes was very sad too. It was like watching an Orphan try and figure out who their parents are. The whole 'B.B.B.F.F.' song was a little heart tugging too considering that was Twilight's brother and I know how it feels to be ignored by family for something stupid, but at least they made up. He sees a large handprint of his in the ground and compares its size to the size his own hand. I found that to be really sad, particularly since he looked like he was just about to cry before being interrupted by Rarity. I think in that moment, Spike actually began to fear what he was and what he would ultimately become.
