The Longest you've Gone without Speaking

There was this one time that I was alone in my sister's apartment, and I never said a word for two days straight. I never left the apartment, never talked to anyone physically, nor talked on the phone with anymore. Two days is pretty much my limit. xD

I imagine I've gone several weekends without saying a word, but conditions have never been right for me to go longer than that, so I'd say I've gone two days without speaking. Although I am one to talk to myself at times, but I don't know if that counts since its not so much that I'm socializing but rather just thinking out loud. If the conditions were right I'm sure I could go months without speaking, and I'd probably love it.

I spent about 3-4 days not talking to anyone at all once, just because I didn't really feel like it, other than that one off, I usually will have one or two days a month were I won't speak to anyone, just for lack of anything interesting to talk about.

I'm not a very talkative person unless I'm around my friends.

I'm really shy actually, and for my first while at public school i really didn't do much talking, so I imagine I could proably go a whole day atleast without talking to someone.

 

Although I'd still need to preocupy my time with youtube videos and these forums of course.

 

Despite my shyness though i'd get pretty lonely after a while. I think a day would be about as long as I could go without talking.

 

I've probably already gone atleast school days without talking, most of my talking I do at home, sometimes its a little sometimes its a bit more.

 

If I get started though I can talk quiet a lot ironically.

As far as I can remember I went roughly 2 weeks without saying a word to anybody. I could've gone longer but my parents (read: Mom) were worried that I was kidnapped or gunned down in the street or something. If you exclude those instances since I was kind of force into speaking, it would be somewhere around a month I imagine.

 

I'm pretty comfortable not speaking even in social settings and I usually can't stand small talk. If I made an effort to, I'm sure I could go at least around 2 months without speaking.

How long I could go without socializing outside the internet? Well, maybe an hour or two. My job requires me to talk to a lot of people each hour and my neighborhood is particularly lively. It would be a total waste of time not to defile others with the banshee shrieking that I call voice

 

But if the situation is right, I can easily go for months to end without socializing. I found solace in solitude and darkness.

When I was in second grade, I read a book about a girl who decided to stop talking to everyone and anyone, due to a traumatic event in her life. She hadn't talked to anyone in over two years. I was in no such situation myself, but it intrigued me to find out how long I could go without saying a word to anyone.

the longest ive gone is a month. it was a fustrating and depressing time and i live alone so i just stayed in my house and didn't do or say anything. but thats only happned once. on a usualy basis its 24 hours more or less.

1 and a half seconds. Depending on what I'm doing. Sometimes 10 hours since I'm on here or typing a story of FimFiction. Bascially, I don't talk when I'm on the computer.

Hmm , let me think for a while.

About ten seconds. I can't help talking, because it's a nice feeling to open your moth and let out words. And if you don't open your mouth then it will get wet and dark and calmmy and smell bad. people need air circulating in their mouths, specifically my little sister when she gets up out of bed in the morning.  Plus I'm very talkative, you can't blame me for talking or typing or whatever too much. Am I talking too much right now?

I did 3 days in solitary confinement when I was in jail, didn't talk at all. So 3 days. It felt weird getting out, everything sounded really loud and it took a while to get used to hearing my voice again.

I went for about 3 days once but that was more due to fact I took a blow to the neck which made it hurt to speak for that period of time and with eating. 

My voice goes after training as well which is pretty odd so I often go a whole evening without speaking or I just sound like Batman.

probably 2 weeks without video games, 2 years with.video games are good ways to waste time and not socialize so naturally I could last an insane amount of time without socializing if I had a good video game to pass the time. Preferably R&C, haven't played that in a while.
