I always thought she did a spectacular job in that song, but I think Dr. Dre would be a much more fitting voice actor. They even look alike:

Lauren really doesn't sound that much like Trixie. I prefer Trixie's current voice, really. 

 

This is the best Trixie GIF I have ever seen.

 

And yes, Kathleen Barr's canon Trixie voice is awesome.  Only problem is that Barr doesn't seem to understand all the intricacies of Trixie's character and thus talks in either the innocent voice or the Disney villain voice.
