While I'm not entirely sold on the art style--I've never been a fan of styles that give more horselike heads to the ponies, given that they're very clearly not supposed to have heads like that according to canon itself--the basic idea is cute.

Got nothing to do with G3. See, the artist behind those two pictures is Cartoonlion, one of a few artists that like to be as anatomically correct as possible with their art. Problem is, I feel as though they ignore instances in canon where we've seen actual horses--The Best Night Ever, for instance--and where the head shapes of said horses were different, therefore the ponies head shapes aren't just an art style artifact, but the way they're actually shaped even if brought into the real world.I know I'm in the minority with this point of view but I'm not about to budge from it either.
