I just feel like she isn't the best ruler she could be. :\

 

But that's just my opinion. She is indeed a good pony.  ^_^

Considering no has risen up against her(excluding Luna because she was just butthurt that ponies had to sleep) or said a bad word to her since her reign has began that seems like a great ruler to me. Everyone there is happy. :nom:

LOL. The Luna thing cracked me up. She is the ruler of Equestria and one of the most powerful ponies, so maybe ponies are scared to rise against her? She isn't the worst princess in Equestria, just not the best she can be..

Me too. Canon!Celestia is a benevolent ruler and all the ponies love her and worship the very ground she walks on and it's not out of fear. 

 

It seems to me like you are mistaking Canon!Celestia for Tyrant!Celestia which is fanon.
