Random picture I found on the interwebs of the celestial sisters. I really cant say I favor one more than the other, they're both enigmas and I'm quite fascinated with them. I'd love some more backstory on them, they give me the whole dark souls lore feel.

Although at her older age she seems so mysterious, also I hope for her to look at this GAMMA RAY BURST Spell to maybe over power other evil forces this world has to offer.

Besides that she is kind heartened in a princess way and she has been presented as "alone"

She may have her students yes, but they are students it's just business and luna is her sister, however after the nightmare moon event they have been distant and most ponies cherish her as a princess and royal, we have never seen her or how she was like non princess.

We seem to just worship her anyone want to find her a "special" friend outside her land, control, and this time one that isn't corrupt with power or tries to do anything to "simulate" a dictator.

I cant express enough how much I love her..I just.She is such a amazing ruler,she could die for her people(like when she tried to stop Chrysalis.That took guts!) and is capable of doing anything for them(even sending her own sister on the moon,just so her ponies can be safe from danger)

Hence,Princess Twilight Sparkle confirms that for her the sun celebration has just a reminder she had to banish her own sister.Yet she kept a smile on her face and everything just so her ponies wont worry about their ruler...and those and many other reasons make Celestia without a doubt a wonderful ruler,playful around her subjects(The episode with Philomena and Fluttershy is a example.She saw how stressed and all that the other ponies are around her and she made a little joke (which doesnt make her a troll.That thing is overused and stupid in my opinion ) to cheer up the mood) that even if she is the ruler wants to be at the same time friends and in good relations with her subjects and that is protective of her little ponies.

Leader,mother-like figure,playful,caring,patient,a pony that others can look up to and many more.She has such a warm heart (get it get it cause she raises the sun and the sun is warm/hot and....I should be banished too for making that joke.But with my poor humour and puns aside,she really has a warm,big heart   ) and I for one,could love to have her as ruler.She is like,the best leader ever (at least in my opinion)

 

I could love to see a Celestia episode in season 5(tho I think I will squee to death ).So looking forward to the new episodes and season generally to see if she finally gets her well deserved episode

The motherly princess that rises the sun deserves so much love ;;

But I for one am very happy to be one of those that gives her some love

@@EquestrianScholar Truth be told, this story has been on my read later list for weeks, but despite the fact that it's written by someone who I know and respect (as far as watching their videos anyway) and has been added to both the "Celestia is Best Pony" and "Protect Celestia" groups, I've been too terrified to read it up until now because, at first glance, it has all the signs of a story that wants to portray Celestia in a positive light, but loses sight of that goal somewhere down the road.  

 

Plus, points for them using Kingdom Hearts music in both the story itself and the audio reading.

Yeah, I am. It forgoes subtlety once or twice to really try and hammer the point home, but it's nowhere near what I feared. And, again with the KH music, the whole time I couldn't help but imagine the opposing figure wearing an Organization XIII coat.

I love Celestia. She's my favorite character outside of the Mane Six. She's also what hooked me on the show when I started watching it. Her and Luna's stewardship of the sun and moon made this seem much less like the moving coloring book of it's predecessors and more along the lines of an epic myth.

 

In addition, as a man of great faith, I often wonder what a true Theachy would look like. (Not to be confused with a theocracy.) Celestia being every bit the kind and loving ruler that she is, I would gladly pledge my loyalty to her were I to live in Equestria.

Hey just realized I never shared this piece I made.

One thing I love to imagine about Celestia (and Luna too of course) is that while anyone can move the sun and moon with enough magic, the princesses are ARTISTS. They have passion for what they do, and only they can bring out the real beauty of the celestial bodies they control.
