It depends on the culture why you need guns, though I know what you mean when you live in countries with pretty much zero crime rate there isnt much need for guns. Yet we still enjoy them all the same. 2 DA: http://fluttershyfan94.deviantart.com/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluttershyfan94

Though you're more likely to own one when you live out in the countryside. Of course there is Switzerland too there are a lot of european countries with strong gun cultures Chezch is one then there is Croatia known for having a gun literally everywhere. Then all of Scandinavia is has a very strong gun culture also my own country. That's not true though Sweden is one of the most pro gun countries in the world. You have a higher gun ownership rate then my country and here it is high. Not to mention you have a strong culture for hunting. It is also very easy getting a gun here all you have to do is sign up for a class on gun ownership which is like reading a book then tree or so meetings then you can buy guns and you can buy as many as you desire. Then as you have had that license for longer you are able to buy more powerful guns. here there was one school shooting and now it's nearly impossible to have a gun, and the crime rate is very high (mostly with petty crimes now)

I have heard that uk gun laws are some of the toughest I'm sure Scotland shares those laws. I've read that the process can take up to a year to buy a hunting rifle haha like at that point you would wonder why anyone would bother with buying them legally when you can buy them illegally without all that paperwork. 2 DA: http://fluttershyfan94.deviantart.com/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluttershyfan94

Dreambiscuit 10,171 June 14, 2020 Share June 14, 2020 I have an old Enfield revolver my dad gave me for home defense. It’s old and has some blemishes in the paint (yes, paint!) but a very nifty old gun.

Anneal 2,197 June 16, 2020 Share June 16, 2020 On another note, I personally don't understand why people assume everyone on the left is against gun ownership. It's the liberals in the Western world that want to restrict gun use. Socialists such as Eugene Debs, George Orwell, and Malcolm X were not opposed to Americans, especially minority communities, owning guns for community self-defense. Especially with the police abolition/defunding movement, more and more people should consider that idea for public safety. Of course, I am for reasonable gun control, but we shouldn't allow violence to be monopolized by the state.
