My Little Pony confessions and secrets

From another post of mine. *deep inhale*

FLUTTERSHY IS MY WAIFU! . . . . Yeah I said it! (I didn't even know what that term meant before this show.) Like I've said on multiple occasions, Lauren Faust created the characters to be role models for the younger audience. Meaning they are adult, if not always mature, women. We, or at least some of us, look past the cartoon ponies they appear as for the people they represent. They are all examples of "types" of women. Twilight is academic and authoritative. Applejack is practical and responsible. Pinkie is spirited and deceptively insightful. Etcetera etcetera.

I love the way she blows the mane from her face!

Once, when I was at an amusement park, I saw a guy with a Vinyl Scratch shirt. Not running right up to him and brohoofing is one of my daily regrests.

Besides the boyfriend, I don't know any other bronies in real life. x3

I forgot what number I was on. I'll start from 1 again.

1) Rainbow Dash was originally my favorite because she reminded me of my childhood. Long story. I may have already mentioned this.

2) I want to bring my Twilight doll to Disneyland.

3) I attempted an Applejack cosplay at Disneyland. Didn't go how I expected.

4) I base my favorite characters by their moral standards.

I believe Pinkie Pie is Faustic.

Pinkie Pie believes in the one creator, the Faust, who used her incredible powers to create all of Equestria and all of the ponies in it by the power of her word and her mind, which was how Equestria was made! Then she wrote down all her great plans in the holy book, which she called the ‘Pitch Bible’.

When I first saw the show on netflix, I thought it was one of those obscure shows that would only last one season.

When I finally started to watch it My little sister dragged me into it. I was reluctant because I saw the G3 stuff before(bleh!). Luckily, it was Winter Wrap Up, I refused to believe a MLP show could have any sort of good music, despite the fact that I couldn't stop humming winter wrap up after only one view.

I kinda wanted to see more, and just was binge watching them (around 5 a day) until I ran out of season 1 episodes (season 2 just finished and wasn't on netflix yet). During this time I was really weirded out by my liking of a girl's show. I it looked up on Wikipeidia and that was the first time I saw the term Brony (Proof that the show was strong enough turn you into a brony without aid from the internet). I also saw Amidi's review of the show (NOT A PLEASANT ONE, IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE A HORRIBLE PERSON). But I kept on watching (season 2 on youtube). I was STILL in Brony denial, refusing to call myself that. I still thought of them as the obscure group that the world labels them as. Once I finished the show entirely, I craved more. I started to see the PMVs (not the original ones, but the ones with heavy metal and hade pones and liked those. Then I saw the PMV "Are You Proud to be a Brony?". The song touched me so much that on May 20, 2012 I finally accepted that I was a Brony (I call it Brony day). Still looking for more, I found a documentary about Bronies that really opened up my view of us. It was some guy's school project, but he put so much effort in it that I was blown away. He talked about the brony community and how professional it was. More research later, I find the songs by AcousticBrony, Living Tombstone, and more. I find the beautiful artwork and inside jokes that bronies have made (20% cooler, Derpy). I was so... ecstatic to find ponies who liked MLP, too. And they weren't the weirdos that FOX news made us look like, but real ponies who just loved the show. I had to join this community! I had saw the pony Ashbad on the Cemetech forum and his signature led to the MLP forums. That's why I joined MLP forums (Ashbad, if you are reading this, Thanks so much for inadvertently leading em to this awesome forum!). I was greeted well and and I couldn't be happier as a Brony.

Sorry for that long confession. The whole Brony thing is still a secret for me and I had to tell someone this.

While I'm at it, some more things I need off my chest

When I started, I really disliked Pinkie Pie's character, seeming to be so unrealistically bubbly drove me nuts (DONT SHOOT IM NOT DONE YET!). But then I saw the episode Baby Cakes, and I realized that she was a real, strong character. I like her a lot now.

I sometimes say bad things about the show so I don't look Like a Brony to my family. I really don't think it would sit well with them that their son really likes My Little Pony. They are a bit traditional in that sense.

I spend way too much time on the Forum, but everypony here is just so awesome!

I am building a portable iPod charger out of an Altiods tin just so I can listen to pony fan songs at summer camp.

I really want to make the next "derpy" brony craze

I think this meme I made is hilarious

I might as well admit some stuff even though no pony knows me here.

1.I am afraid to admit my bronyiesm to other people(Even my own family)

2.I have seen some of the darker sides of the ponys(porn if you don't know what i mean)

3.At first when i watched i read how everyone loved fluttershy but never actually got into watching her even though she is just like me.

4.I am afraid of buying MLP merchandise

5.I hate gorefics.

I think that is all.

This may come as a shock to some of you but....

Vinyl Scratch is my favourite pony.

Also, I'm pony racist. There I said it. Unicorns are the superior race. Especially white unicorns...

As in Rarity and Vinyl.

What a touching tale. I too discovered ponies and the Brony community without cultural osmosis. Only I found the term Brony through TVTropes.org. (Specifically it's own article. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic) That song is one my favorites list, and I've chatted with Saberspark, he's an awesome guy! (My Mom also loved Ballad of the Brony.) Oh and that meme IS hilarious.

My biggest confession?

I dislike rainbow dash. Not strongly or anything, but I've never really been able to relate to her character, and I just don't like her attitude in general.

I also find pinkie pie somewhat attractive, physically and personality-wise.

You're not the only one. Rainbow is cool, but I can't help but feel she'd hate my guts. Let me put it to you this way I'm Lawful Good (try to be) and she's Chaotic Good. Make of that what you will. Oh and the Pinkie thing too!

I don't know if this counts, but my sister absolutely hates all fan ideas, theories, and character personalities. The funny thing is, I THRIVE on that stuff.

Oh, and when my sister first showed me MLP, I thought it was annoyingly cheesy. :(

I kick myself so hard for saying that. I faked being interested in it.

But now I'm ADDICTED. Like, I want to see everything MLP.

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do." - Steve Jobs

Okay let's do this...

I also skip through the title song

I haven't ever read any clopfics and I'm not going to. The idea freaks me out a little, but I have nothing against people who enjoy them.

And.....

I liked Cupcakes. And Rainbow Factory. And Sweet Apple Massacare. I thought the ideas for all of them were great and really original, haha!!

1) I still feel embarrassed when I watch an episode even when alone in my room. But I'm never embarrassed to wear my Fluttershy hoodie in public or around my family. (I'm a 16 year old male and I've been a brony since October 2011, btw.)

2) I still ain't watched any of the episodes between ep 13 of season 2 all the way to the ending finale.

So that would be... *Counts* ...14 'new' episodes that I ain't watched yet. I've been too busy with its fandom that I guess I just forgot about the show itself. Literally, about 80% of my time on the internet has something to do with ponies. Forums, Fanfics, everything except the naughty stuff.

3) I fantasize about Twilight Sparkle a little too much for my mental health. But I like to keep the fantasies as realistic as I can. All of my thoughts are in some way connected like a third-person storyline of me living in Equestria. I've imagined all sorts, like how might I explain to them why there is a picture of Fluttershy on my hoodie when they found me. Or how they are a cartoon in my world. But again, I try to keep my thoughts as realistic as I can; I never think of something good happening to me without reason. And even then, not all of those things are good things. I find it interesting to see how me and Twilight would deal with some sort of obstacle or a friendly debate about something.

4) Sometimes these fantasies are... not always platonic thoughts. It is rare, but sometimes I think of... us doing...naughty... things together I'M SORRY! Celestia, you have every right to banish me to the moon for a few thousand years, I don't blame you.

However though, I am disgusted by all things pornography if its on the internet, ponies or otherwise. I ain't watched anything that's porn in like 8 months or so, I just don't like it for some reason if it's on the internet, and thinking about it is bad enough. (I ain't religious or anything, I just simply don't like it for some reason.)

Again, I try to keep even the naughty thoughts realistic. I imagine what it was that got us in this situation, and the cuddling at the end ect. I tend to keep those thoughts romantic rather than lustful. If it was lustful, it would be porn. Again, I rarely think like this.

5) I don't usually read shipping, I can kind of like it, but only if It's straight shipping, and whatever happens happens for a realistic reason, and is romantic. I have also a few times read some... naughty scenes from these fics but ONLY if there has been romance beforehand, and the scene doesn't mention the proper names of genitalia. Besides, I don't read them because I enjoy them, but rather to see what my reaction would be.

6) My biggest confession would probably be... That I'm currently in the process of making a pony tulpa. (Link is completely Safe For Work.)

A Tulpa is basically a forced hallucination of a being that has it's own sentience. Think of it as an imaginary friend, but it's far from just that. When you think 'imaginary friend' you would probably think of a being that you can 'kind of' see, but is mostly not there, and any time you imagine them doing something, it's because you imagined them doing so.

This ain't that. Through about 100 hours of meditation (or even just daydreaming.), if you do everything right, they will look like almost exactly like as if it were in the real world, and anything it does will do so on it's own. You won't need to imagine it doing so, he/she just will.

"A hallucination that does things on it's own? Think of what it could do!" I know this might sound like scary. This 'tulpa' won't be able to physically interact with the real world. It will acknowledge everything that you see and be able to talk to you and have it's own opinion on things that might be different from yours, and it will appear to be real but not physically be there, and it can take the from of anything you want; human, pony, male, female, whatever. This is basically a higher tier from of an 'imaginary friend', but about 20% cooler.

Just read about it for yourself. It's better at explaining it than I am. And everyone on the forums there are quite sane and in fact some of them have pony tulpas. Links are SFW.

Inb4 people call me insane anyway. (Which I already am; I'm in love with a non-existent purple unicorn. But soon it will be real... IN MAH MIND!!1! *Insane laugh*)
