Who would you have as president?

Ok -- Twilight I would definitely want on the cabinet -- but I would not want her as leader of the free world at all. The job is just too big for her and she would go insane.

 

Pinkie Pie -- The problem with her is not so much that she is bubbly but when she isnt. I could see her getting very depressed in the job.

 

Rainbow Dash -- Actually shows herself to be a good leader of the pegasi in ponyville. In winter wrapup and hurricane fluttershy she shows herself to be a very competent leader who always gives her all and expects everyone elses all. I think she would be a good choice -- and a very charismatic choice who might be able to actually win. She also has the flexibility to see both sides of a problem like with the buffalo.

 

Rarity -- A little too self absorbed. Yes she has business experience and can control others but she would lose most of the woman vote.

 

Applejack -- Honest politician. That would be funny in a way -- but she is just so very stubborn.

 

Fluttershy -- No. Just No. Not in this world. I would trust her with my life but not my government.

At any rate, it would be a Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie ticket. Twilight would make a good campaign director and later secretary of state. Applejack could be in charge of Agriculture. Rarity could be sec treasury.

I would go with Twilight Sparkle, as she possesses the best leadership traits of the mane6. She's also intellectual, so she would be able to make wise decisions, and being organized will come in handy for time allocation.

Twilight Sparkle for President. She may go a little nuts at times, though. I'd have Applejack for vice president and possibly Rarity for treasury.

Applejack is a warmonger though -- just look at the appleloosa episode. It didnt matter that they put the trees on buffalo land -- they needed those trees and they werent about to move them. Applejack was the least flexible of the ponies in that matter.

 

I can see twilight being an interventionalist as well -- because the rest of the world should trust her superior logic and judgement, and they are not and they are being bad to their people etc.

 

Rainbow/Pinkie -- Skies the Limit, and with pinkie even that is in doubt.

Out of the Mane 6 it's pretty obvious Twilight would win, she reads and studies about almost everything! But Apple Jack would be just as great. Honesty is extremely important when it comes to politics.

Twilight Sparkle, with Applejack as VP. Twilight has the composure, organization skills, efficiency and authoritative manner I would want in a leader. She has diplomatic chops and won't rush off into conflicts (unlike Rainbow), won't put her own ego ahead of the public good (like Rarity, perhaps) or cave under pressure (Fluttershy). And with AJ, you have someone who could keep her grounded and focused so she won't forget about the little pony.

 

I would vote for the Twilight/Applejack ticket over both Obama and Romney.

I'd say Applejack as Prime Minister and Rainbow Dash as vice.

 

Applejack is honest, sensible and decisive and will easily put Rainbow Dash in her place if she tries to undermine Applejack.

On the other hand, if Applejack does do something wrong, Rainbow Dash won't be afraid to reason with her.

Twilight Sparkle would be a potential choice, except that if Applejack was vice she'd get sidelined, and if Rainbow Dash was vice they'd be disagreeing. Twilight Sparkle would be minister of education though.

 

I agree on Rarity as Treasurer - she's got financial skills up her sleeve and will happily use them to good effect. She's also devious when she needs to be.

Also agree on Pinkie Pie as Ambassador - nopony ever forgets Pinkie Pie!

Fluttershy will definitely do well as head of the Environmental Protection Agency. I think I agree with Doctor XFizzle here.

I think twilight would make the best president. She has the most knowledge and is the most organized. She might write really really long speaches tho... And if anybody messes with her schedule.... Oh boy...

other then that shes the best educated for the job. Maybe if AJ was VP or something it would help to keep twilight in check and twilight would be able to do a great job.
