What would your life be like without MLP FiM? what would the world be like?

I don't know about you but  I am so happy that this show exist. if it never happened I would have continued down my road of severe depression, anger issues, substance abuse. but now I'm beatific as can be, clean, and stronger than ever mentally and emotionally!

the world without MLP?! sad to think of, but if it wasn't then most people wouldn't open up to the possibilities of kindness and friendship. most would perceive it as a false believe that has no iconography, no image that pops in their heads, and would continue going on with little effort of good intent.

give me some feed back of what you think the world would be like with out it, or your own life, or even both!

I think my life is certainly better since discovering the show and the awesome people within the fandom. Who are all pretty kind generally, especially the ones here.

 

Before the show I was kinda depressed overall, but I've got to feeling better since watching the show. I'm not depressed nearly as often.

My life would be a lot different. The brony fandom is really the first one I ever really felt like I am a part of. The show helped me resolve some of my issues and I think I'm well on my way to becoming a better person. Here on this forum I have met and talked to some great people and I'm making friends and the community and the show inspired me to create things again. My life has been turning for the better ever since I was introduced to Friendship is Magic  .

The show has made humanity a little better, I know alot of people has become more happy because of the show and even tho its just a small % of the human race thats still an improvment! my life has for sure become alot more brighter because of it

its mind bottling to see that something such as a animated series can have such power over the mind, but I'm happy that it could have such an affect on you pegasus pony. just imagine if everyone watched the show. we would be having pinkie parties with apple fritters all day and having a blast! :3

There will be another fandom to replace MLP.

People won't be so obssebed with horses or ponies, they will start to obsseb with foxes and furries.

There might be a show called My Little Foxxies, the whole new rule of 34 will set up.

Pornography and memes would damage the internet severely and the league of haters will set in motion to stop furries or brofoxes.

I'm starting to see a pattern here with a few offsets but still consistency. in a scene MLP is something that not only brings a common community together, as well as lowers the natural defense of denying self expression; allowing everyone to come out of their shell and truly let their inner passions come forth. this is vital because in society we have gotten so judgmental and scorning that people have tried to be the "same person" and now we see diversity flourish in a positive environment! artist expressing with colors which were once scorn, musicians making off beat music (like pinkie when she ridded the town of the parasprites), writers with a whole new world (Equestia) with no laws, no boundaries! this is truly enthralling to perceive! I might just have to write a book about the science of this I dub this expression persomiscillanity! or the expression of oneself diversity! :3

It is depending, if there wasn't MLP;FIM in my life, there could have been a chance I would have found a similar show that would have had the same morals and helped me out, so it wouldn't be COMPLETELY different, but if there wasn't MLP;FIM I wouldn't have meet all the amazing people on the forums today, wouldn't have had the chance to wonder upon such a great place.

volcarona cool name! I would have a dificult time picking another show because what initialy drew me in was how well Lauren Faust animated the show, tied in with her humor.

The show hasn't made a real impact to me, it was just a good show with great morals.

 

However, the fandom did.

Back before the show I was mostly depressed, a misanthrope and an aggressive jerk. I was so bored and indifferent that I usually did really stupid things that ended up hurting myself and others just to kill time.

Every day I would come back home with bruises, cuts and new scars from fights. I didn't make many friends, mostly just pushing everyone away, dabbled and socialized with the wrong people, started doing even more stupid things, became even more obnoxious.

Got diagnosed with all kinds of problems including chronic depression and apathy. Due to personal issues I developed an emotionless attitude and stopped caring about absolutely anything, nothing mattered anymore anyway.

 

Until I came across people from the fandom. They helped me see what sort of person I was, how wrong I was. Even though I insulted most of them, they still were there for me. Eventually, what they did and said started to matter to me, it felt nice, they made me feel happy for once. It went on that way for months until I started to adjust my personality and change.

 

.. Flash forward two years into the future and here I am. I still have plenty of downs, but I'm managing. Certainly way better than back then, mostly because I have people I can turn to now.

 

Without MLP? I would still be the same as before, perhaps worse, perhaps better. I don't know. But certainly not as good as I'm doing now.

Life would be different for sure. Maybe not show itself but fandom helped me overcome some major problems I had, my shyness (partially, but still I've made big progress), my lack of self esteem, my pesimism. I am able to handle many matters much easier, I am still fighting with my laziness but I hope to overcome it as well. Also I've met here many great friends that I enjoy talking with ^^ Life would be so boring without You...

I'll be honest, MLP hasn't really caused any sort of dramatic shift in my personality.  I think that without it, I'd still be generally the same person as I am now, just bored more often and having one less thing to smile about (not to mention despising the original MLP theme for constantly getting stuck in my head...).

 

There is one major thing that is more of an internal shift that was sparked because of MLP, though it's a much more personal thing, and I don't often discuss it.  Nonetheless, it is extremely important to me, and is perhaps the sole reason why I know that I will never regret the burning curiosity that compelled me to watch episode 1.

we wouldn't have fluffle puff.

 

I'd say like would be 5-10 percent worse with out mlp.

Well, I'd be much more... Anti-social. Before MLP, I didn't like talking to complete strangers all that much. I would always shy away from conversation. 

 

Back then I would have nothing to do while I had some free time, at least now I can chat to people with common interests/stalk around the forums :v

Its been something i've loved since I was little, I was too embarrased to do it because I thought I would be made fun of I started when I was 10,my little pony helped me realize what i've always wanted to do,dance.Now im a pre-pro and i'm happy about it.

Well I would definitely be much less social than I am now. MLP:FiM helped me break through that little bit of shell that still remained (I had become at least kind of social) 

 

I would not have met nearly as many cool people and I would have a different show at the #3 spot in my favorite TV shows. 

 

I wouldn't get to have the experience of watching that first episode where you are really unsure thinking "is this really a good idea?" and then preceding to finish the series in a few short weeks. 

 

I wouldn't have gotten to spend so much time talking to other bronies, posting on these forums, watching videos, making fanart, and just getting lost in this huge fandom we have, 

 

I am so happy that FiM exists and I am just now realizing how much it means to me. It has led me to so many new and wonderful experiences. 

 

A toast to another great season of MLP and many more to come!
