I couldn't find a topic like this, so I made one :P

I'm actually non-binary, so I was wondering: is there anyone else here like me?

If you have suggestions for poll choices, please let me know!

EDIT: I put boy/girl and transgender boy/girl as separate options simply because I want to know if there are other LGBT people here...

Hmm. I prefer to be called a boy. You're I bigender? That is interesting. (In a cool way), as I've never met somebody that was fine with being both male and female.

Male, that's one of the few things I HAVEN'T faced confusion over.

I guess I'd be a male. Only because it's my sex, I don't feel strongly as one gender or the other. Not that I consider gender important to begin with.

Similarly, I'm a bigender.

I simply use my sex as identity on official papers.

I have the notion that I have feminine characteristics, that most males don't have, though I try to act on the masculine side of my personality. I have a largely feminine character. Being that I like romance, and pink being my second favorite color, and being that I just act sort of female sometimes. I'm sure people have noticed this at times.

Last time I checked, I was a guy.

I do admit i have some subtle feminine quirks, and some people recognize it. But I'm a guy and I'm fine with it.

I do want to know what it is like to have breasts though

Cisgender male. I am biologically male and have always identified as such.

This is a good topic, though. Transgender individuals are often overlooked and marginalized in society, even in many LGBT-positive communities.

I'd have to agree with this. You worded my thoughts on the subject perfectly. :)

Well, i'm a girl since forever. I'm not one of those girly girls, i'm one of the more tomboyish no-sports girls who is into talking about ponies and plays Fallout all day.

What on earth is Bi gender?  Doesn't really make sense, explain? :P

Male, I often wonder what it would be like to be female, but im happy / proud with the body / gender I was born with :)

Here's where I have an issue to an extent. It doesn't matter how you want to appear to other people, how you want to act, etc. but your gender isn't something you make up, It's determined by your genitals. Unzip those pants, if you have a dangly thing there, you are MALE, if you don't, you are FEMALE. I know there are people who are born kinda both genders, but my point is that it makes no sense to walk around, a biological male, but identify and say you are female. It's biology, it has nothing to do with who you are as a person.

I myself am male.

Agreed. I think some people just don't want to choose. I wouldn't call a man that acts like a girl a "Bigender", I would call them a guy with a slight feminine side. To me, a Bigender means you are born with both body parts. If they want to be classified as a Bigender, fine by me then.

Sex and gender are not the same thing, a common misperception may I add.

Sex is biological. Entirely what you were born with or changed to through a sex change operation. (Mine being entirely male)

Gender is what one feels that they fit in more with.

(Mine being a bigender.)

Honestly, I'm fairly sure gender and sex are different things. In my opinion, I find that sex is your biological body, while gender is like what above poster said, yeah. Better described it.

Gender Identity would suggest what you identify your self as rather than whats 'down there' xD

I've known a few people who are in no way transgender or would want to be but still feel like they are a girl rather than a boy, heck sometimes I look at a few of my own traits, being very affectionate, quite emotional etc, some traits maybe associated more strongly with females but yeah thats besides the point :P
