When i broke down at work a couple months ago due to a rough day at work, the pressure i was under at home/financially etc. I guess i hit my breaking point.

I cried a couple days ago when I was reading a very powerful book. It really hit me. Oh, and my friend did something pretty amazing yesterday that impressed me so much I actually cried. I was so proud of her. So it was all good tears.

Gosh… you know I have been holding back my emotions and tears for so god damn long that even when I wanted to, it’s just doesn’t come gashing out the way I hoped.  I do cry but it’s more like a sting  rather than like a waterfall that actually really matters. Because otherwise I would have felt like I have emptied out all the negativity from my chest. And then feel better the next. That’s what crying is supposed to do for you. I haven’t gotten that experience yet.. even so I’m also too afraid to.

Last night my dog had a seizure. She’s ok now though. She never had one before and I hope it the last. I’m really worried though mom told me to record it if it happens again to show the vet.

It was a couple days ago, at the airport in Mesa, Arizona. I arrived early for my return flight home from the worst trip I’d ever taken, and even as I was waiting for my flight, every little thing was becoming a catastrophe, right down to my breakfast and even a trip to the ladies’ room! I was at the end of my rope so I went to the most remote terminal, which was deserted at that hour, and had an emotional meltdown. I put on my ear buds and played my ‘Peaceful’ playlist to calm down. Then the song “Disneyland” started to play it really hit me hard how badly I missed home and wanted to get back to it. So sat down on the floor away from prying eyes and started crying really, really hard. I couldn’t stop. I hadn’t cried that hard in a long time.

Here’s the song which has now become synonymous with home for me:

Aaaaaabout a month ago, or so. Couldn't remember the last time before that. I definitely don't do it as often as I should, spent way too much of life suppressing it and now it's pretty hard to let it rip when I really need to. Looks like there's a few other folks in this thread in the same boat. We'll all figure it out someday!
