From the very first episode, right up to "Rainbow Rocks" Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship, is my absolute favorite character. The first time I saw Magical Mystery Cure, I couldn't even stay seated when she ascended to Alicornhood.

Twilight is definitely my favorite Mane 6 pony

 

I like her for a lot of the same reasons everyone else does: she's smart, works hard, and can be a great leader. She's always learning something: that trait alone makes her very relatable, as we ALL learn new things all the time!

 

She's also absolutely adorable when she gets really excited about stuff (I mean, she's adorable all the time, but you know what I mean lol). She hops around and runs around all over the place 

 

Luna is also my favorite Princess, because I find her background very interesting, as well as her personality. 

 

I mean, she used to be a villain! She was feared by all, but eventually, she was freed from the evil and jealousy that controlled her. Now, Luna helps ponies overcome their fears, working hard to show everypony that she is good.

 

Luna loves to have fun, but also knows when to be serious, and properly displays her authority. To some, she can be quite intimidating, but for those who know her, they know that she is actually kind-hearted and is always willing to lend her wisdom to those who need it.

 

And yes, she does look cool lol

 

I just wish Hasbro would use her more, and give her more screen time. She deserves it.

Well, if we're all focusing on the Mane 6, then it's gotta be Pinkie Pie, because of her humor. My favorite minor character is Sweetie Belle, and my favorite background pony is Noteworthy also known as Blues, but nobody calls him that anymore.

I'd say Apple Bloom is my favorite pony. She reminds me a little bit of myself. Having three best friends, and all ways doing stupid, but fun things with them. Tho it was even better because it was in the 90's.

'Tavi is easily my favorite Pony, both from the color scheme, and the overall make-up of the character.

She was also a very heavy influence on my OC, with the coat and bow-tie coming from her.

Fluttershy for me, not only is she adorable, but she's also an enigma of sorts. She's shy, so we really don't know alot about her. She's often cowardly, yet she has no problems defending her friends or animals. She's usually very kind and considerate, but we've been hinted at a darker, angrier, and possibly more selfish and manipulative side of her. Its as if there's something about her she's not telling us and that's what makes her interesting. It gives her a hidden depth to her character and allows the community to go wild with head cannons and speculations. 

 

2nd favorite is certainly Pinkie Pie. She's zany and cheerful, but also knows how to act like an adult when she needs to. In a way, she reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants (his pre-movie character anyway).

I have two favorites; Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I can relate to Fluttershy the most because I am pretty shy in real life. I probably like RD because sometimes I wish I was more like her. My favorite background ponies are Octavia and Vinyl because I love music!

As a guy I guess I like Rainbow Dash's attitude to everything, I even enjoy the moments when she gets cocky and in your face, she is the main reason I don't view MLP:FiM as a 100% girls show. Pinkie usually makes me laugh. Fluttershy, AppleJack and Rarity are good characters but occasionally bore me.

My avatar, my sig... my Username(Shimmer like diamonds~). It's probably safe to say Diamond Tiara.

It's because I know what masks are, and I know how to see through them. All her talk about cutie marks and blank flanks and babies is just ranting from someone who was obviously f orced to grow up too fast. Whether it happened because of her mother or father doesn't really matter to me; all I notice is the void where... something should be. To see someone who's just so lost, and walk away time after time just not seeming to get what they're truly missing... it's soul crushing, even if she is a bully. I don't hate Diamond Tiara, I want to protect her from herself. Because we're both just extensions of ea ch other; representatives from the dark side of loneliness.

Fluttershy has to be my favorite, her sweet caring nature just sticks on me and makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Rarity is still fabulous making her my 2nd favorite
