Twilight - Because she's smart and really cares a lot about her friends (although she could treat Spike a bit better)

 

Luna - Because she's just so cute, and she's a gamer (at least in youtube videos)

 

Derpy - Because she's Derpy, and she works hard to bring everyone their mail (even if it doesn't arrive at the right place part of the time xD). Also, because of muffins.

For me, choosing the main pony was hard, I love Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbowdash, and I had trouble choosing, but i'd say I'm in a Fluttershy mood right now.

 

The secondary pony was between Scootaloo and Luna, but in the end it was Scoot for my vote.

 

The background pony was easy. Derpy is my all-time favorite pony so yah, easy choice.

Since it's the only one that didn't seem to conform to the others, I picked Photo Finish for the secondary poll. My favourite of the mane 6 is by far Twilight Sparkle. She resembles my own personality very much as I am just as nerdy as her

 

Secondary character got to be either Cheerilee or Princess Celestia. I've honestly never understood why so many people prefer Luna over Celestia but oh well!

 

I think Lyra is the best background pony - I've just read too much fanfic about her xD

Rarity, because of how generous and patient she is, and also, Rarity is best singer. I admit she can be a bit prissy at times, but she grew on me.

Well Spike isn't a pony is he? And this is the favourite PONY thread after all. I guess he would still count as a secondary character though.

 

DJ Pon-3 aka Vinyl Scratch appears in the episodes number 14 of season 1, "Suited for Succes" and the last episode of season 2, "A Canterlot Wedding - Part Two". You can check the MLP wikia for more info.
