My favorite villains, just getting it out there, are probably Queen Chrysalis and Discord. Discord is just so..bright and entergetic and humorous. And Queen Chrysalis just seems graceful and crafty.

It's a tough decision for me, because I LOVE all of the characters so much! But, as far as favorites go, it's a tie between Rainbow Dash and Applejack for me. Rainbow Dash is a lot like me, even though I'm horrible at sports, so the fact that I can relate to her says a lot about how much character she has. I also really love Applejack because honesty is a trait I really value, and I can relate to her a lot as well.

 

Voted for AJ because I knew Rainbow would get more love than her anyway AJ definitely needs more love!

I voted for Fluttershy as my favorite Mane6 character.  I can relate to her in so many ways. 

As for secondary characters, my fave CMC is Sweetie Belle, my favorite princess is Luna and fave BG is Colgate, which unfortunately she's not on the poll.

Favourite Mane 6 has to be Pinky Pie, even more so due to her performance under the effects of Discord resulting in one of my favourite quotes from the entire series 'You better think before you laugh at the Pink... -ie Pie!'. Her up-beat nature, love of her friends, and constant desire to make everypony smile is not only endearing but also a wonderful example of friendship at it's finest.

 

I do like Big Macintosh an awful lot though, he's just such a great pony even if he is a little quiet. But his quiet nature just makes his rare chunks of dialogue that much funnier !

To be honest, I like pretty much all of the mane 6. I think Pinkie Pie can be a little /too/ much at time with her over the top silliness but whatever, she's Pinkie Pie. That's just how she is. I still like her alright.

In my personal opinion, I'd consider Snips, Snails, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon as secondary characters instead of Background characters. I still wouldn't vote for them, but still.

Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are almost tied for my favorite, but I voted for Fluttershy. She's just adorable. It's like watching kittens on YouTube but in pony form. I love her shy, gentle demeanor and the hidden strength beneath.

 

Secondary character: Applebloom. She's precious and the bow is too cute. I love all the CMC, though.

 

Background character: Have to go for Derpy, those googly eyes always crack me up.

Applejack is my favorite character just because of her values and morals. After all, honesty is the best policy.

Apple Bloom is the greatest secondary character on that list. Just the way she's so innocently happy makes me smile with the force of one thousand Pinkie Pies.

Derpy Hooves is who I voted for, but Daring Do is the greatest character ever.
