I think it's cute to refer to a character as "X pone", where X is one of their characteristics (Pink pone, shy pone, etc.). There are certain situations where "poni" is fun to use, such as "best poni".

My OCD freaks out to gigantic proportions if a word isn't spelled right. I HAVE to spell everything right. When I see some people spell something incorrectly I rage a bit. :eww:

I like calling them "pones", I don't know it just sounds extremely cute.

I also like calling them "My Little Ponies" because it's completely cute-sounding.

Ekwos. It's proto-Gaelic. Going through ancient Gaulish it became epwos, which was Latinized into epona, and eventually pony.

Of course going another way, it went into Greek as equus, which was Latinized into equinus, and eventually equine.

Or through the Proto-Germanic, becoming ehrusa, then Norse hross, from where we get horse.

So, I go back to the correct, original spelling. Ekwos. :muffins:

...

Nah, it's just pony.
