Was there a celebrity loss that really struck close to the heart?

When Michael Clarke Duncan died, I felt sad for nearly the rest of the week. The Green Mile, was one of my favourite movies ever, I felt so drawn to the character that he portrayed. It really hit me hard, when I heard that. Just a look at the man showed, that he was one of the nicest people that ever lived.

Christopher Hitchens, if he classifies as a celebrity by any stretch. His voice deteriorating in his last years made me want to cry and/or hug him hard every time I heard him on telly or the radio.

Peter Steele of Type O Negative

David Gold of Woods of Ypres

Ronnie James Dio

Sadly, Christopher Lee's passing won;t be long coming as he's 93/94 this year. I won't want to believe it happens.

The trololo guy :(

Heath Ledger.

Ernest Borgnine (aka VA of mermaid man)

And Steve Irwin was probably the saddest one for me, cause he was my childhood hero </3

I feel like I'm missing one more name.

Princess Diana, Mother Teresa (although I quickly made peace with the fact that her time had come and was needed in Heaven), Michael Jackson. All, angels sent to this earth to do different things. No other celebrity death has ever phased me.

I was too young to understand what was going on when Freddie Mercury died. Many years later, after I was more familiar with death and learned who he was, it got to me. Ever since I was little I was a big fan of Queen.

As stated by others earlier here, Eddie Guerrero too. That was very sudden and he was actually a really cool guy, despite his lying, cheating, and stealing wrestling personality. I know it's going to get to me when Hulk Hogan dies too. I was a big Hulkamaniac when I was a kid.

eventough i didn't even know the guy, i felt genuinly sad when Paul Walker died.

i loved the early fast and the furious films, and he was basically my hero.  i think i've been genuinly sad for about a week, wich is really just kinda crazy since i just didn't know him outside of his films!
