Skyrim would absolutely be my favorite single player game, but it loses a few points for bugs and performance issues.  It's still way up there, but I just can't give it the number one slot.  Shame too, because it's the most incredible game I've ever played in so many ways.

COD: Ghosts (the only one i like b/c its a combination of Ghost Recon and Halo 3: ODST)

Godzilla (yes........the games are badass)

Destiny (haven't played the game but the Beta should be coming out next month of June.  In addition, the trailer and gameplay of it looks badass).

Assassin's Creed IV (i've played prev. ones but didn't like them, yet I love this one b/c it involves Pirates as well as taking place in my families birth county).

A subjective point of view of my best games, from top to bottom:

 

- StarFox 64 (I bought Assault when it was released. New tech, but...  it is just not the same. Really...  I am really hoping the SF saga manages to revive. Not soon, but at least to try...)

- Project Torque (RIP. Hands down best Racing MMO ever. Except for the overpowered P2P Lancer Evo and Subaru. But still...)

- World of Tanks (Best F2P "MMO" [not exactly] game so far I am currently approving)

 

- Counter Strike (Not the first FPS ever, but it widely popularized it, based on HL engine)

 

- Dissidia: Final Fantasy (Only fighting game I ever liked)

- Runescape. When your laptop exploded with web-based games (RS miracleously being an exception), let alone installed games...

- Forza Horizon

- Civilization V (AoE 2 was waaaaaaaaaaaay older, but even myself as a small kid, it was hell frustrating. Civ5 is a lot friendlier for the not-so-bright RTS guy...)
