Not for myself, but my step daughter loves MLP, so when she's a little older she'll probably get my moms and sister's collection! (My sister's all have boys!)

A lot of people pick up a lot of G1 ponies while thrifting, but I personally buy them online.

I actually have a Surprise toy, and my Seapony toy came today in the mail!

That was a very wonderful song indeed, and G1 has many other terrific songs to offer.

Did you know that the two specials "Rescue at Midnight Castle" and "escape from Catrina" only featured Adult Seaponies (the ones in the song), and the G1 TV show only featured baby Seaponies and excluded the adult ones.

I never really came to think about it, but I did notice that the smaller ones looked a lot like the smaller seapony floatie toys I've seen before as apposed to an adult seapony.

I sometimes think that G1 MLP seems better than FiM.

 

FiM is full of crazy outside references and fandom drama. There's also EqG, which threatens to plunge MLP into that "pop diva-stuff" no decent person wants his/her daughter(s) to fall for.

 

By contrast, G1 seems "innocent"; "undefiled" by trends, originally-thought, and more darker (so dark, FiM's darker moments seem "cheesy" in comparison).

She's 14 dollars with shipping, defiantly worth it because now I can put a G1 pony on my Christmas tree! 

She has some space at the base of her tail for a bow, and her hair is pearly.

Hey guys! I'm trying to find some G1 plushees! Got any ideas? I purchased one on eBay, but I've gotta be honest, when I received it, it STANK to high heaven! I had to bin it!

Didn't the seller mention that the plush stank in the auction description?

Anyway, just keep looking on eBay and try to find a good seller that listed a plush. If that fails, the only other website (that I know of) that commonly lists G1s is Etsy. But since I buy all my G1s on eBay, I never actually used Etsy.

I was Bronycon and I walked into a panel called "Riffing is Magic".

 

I saw them riffing on G1 and I was disappointed. I mean, how could you ever make fun of something this awesome?

 

 

No but seriously, it was a pretty good panel. At least they were getting Bronies to look at G1 for once!
