  1. A fart joke. A return of the Diamond Dogs (you guys can complain about Snips and Snails all you want, personally it was the Diamond Dogs who really got under my skin)
  2. I didn't know he was based on Sauron. That's pretty cool. Personally, I didn't mind the character. There was enough going on in the episode that the villain didn't really need a personality. If he had spent a ton of time on screen with no personality then I might've minded. I also liked his design fine.
  3. Oh, I liked English best, since I loved reading and writing. I never felt like we got to write enough stories though. It was mainly essays. I hated gym. I was fat.
  4. Oh yes, I'm very shy and worried about what people are thinking of me, and I try not to say too much or draw too much attention, plus I'm worried if people get attached to me I'll disappoint them.
  5. To some extent, yes. I'd like to think I was already open minded and open to my feminine side, but now even more so. And a lot of my focus this past year has gone into the show and its fandom. Plus, I haven't done much reading since junior high, but now I read fanfics sometimes, which is nice. I never really liked AMVs or fanfics before, but now I like PMVs and pony Fimfiction. Fiction is my life, and MLP has definitely had an impact.
  6. I like milk and rice milk the best. Rice milk is the opposite of buttermilk, it sounds awful but tastes great. I used to hate water, but am getting used to drinking it at work. I love the taste of coke and root beer, but would kindof like to wean myself off the stuff since it's unhealthy.
  7. I like Phineas and Ferb. As far as I can tell, it's the only excuse Disney Chanel has to exist. It's clever and funny, though for silly cartoons I still prefer Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends and maybe SpongeBob Squarepants. I think people compare it to MLP too often, even though they have nothing to do with each other. They're two of the only good cartoons on TV, the fans of one shouldn't attack the other, yet I've seen it a lot.
  8. You know, although I like holidays, I can kinda get where OP is coming from. Gifts should be given to people you care about. AND CHILDREN. Being a kid and getting stuff is awesome. But now that I'm an adult, I can buy the things I need, and I really only want to exchange gifs with those I'm really close to. I also don't care too much about spending time with family, like the anti-social internet nerd that I am.
  9. I own a PS2, a Nintendo 64, a Gamecube, a 3DS, a PSP, and a Gameboy Advance SP. I live with my best friend, and he owns a PS3, a 3DS, and a Gameboy Advance SP. My favorite system is definitely the PS2. Persona 3 FES, Silent Hill 2, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank, Spider-Man 2, and Resident Evil 4 are some of my very favorite games.
  10. I love that fanfic. Anyway, I loved MMC. If the writers didn't know everything about the change destiny spell because they didn't need to know until making the season 4 premiere, fine. Just hope they don't paint themselves into a logic corner. The fact that Twilight could fly well in MMC and not well in Equestria Girls bugs me, but I consider it a flaw with Equestria Girls, not MMC, since it came after and had to follow up what came before. I bet some of what wasn't explained in MMC will be in the season 4 premiere, but honestly, I'm a fan of stuff like Lost, Silent Hill, and Serial Experiments: Lain, so I really don't need everything to be explained all the time. As for Celestia being horrible to Twilight, I've kinda wondered about that before, but up till now she's done an okay job. She became Twilight's mentor and let her go to the best magic school, building her up as one of Equestria's greatest mages. When she saw that this was limiting Twilight's social life, she had her get some friends to balance that out. And once her magic, problem solving capabilies, and knowledge of friendship were high enough, she made her a princess. It is kind of weird that she wouldn't tell her in advance or give her a chance to decide, but I doubt Twilight will have too much added responsibility right out of the gate. I don't think Twilight becoming a princess started with her getting friends. I think that Celestia may have had it in mind earlier than that, and may have been building her up for possible princesshood much of her life. Heck, her foalsitter was a princess. I'd kinda like to know how Cadence became one, come to think of it. The thing is, whether or not what Celestia did to Twilight was horrible in concept, I doubt it'll be horrible in execution. There are three princesses to guide her. Some people are worried Twilight won't have as much time for her friends with the added responsibility, but the Mane Six appeared to be handing most of Equestria's major problems already, and doing it together and strengthening their bonds along the way. And it's been confirmed Twilight will still be in Ponyville. I'd kinda like to think Twilight will be to Ponyville what Cadence is to the Crystal Empire. That said, if Twilight had to occasionally go to Canterlot to perform some royal duties, that'd be cool. In the season 4 premiere, it'd be really nice if we dive into exactly what her royal duties are. I'm not worried about Twilight being overpowered compared to her friends. That just . . . doesn't bother me. In any way. Personality and ability wise, they're all special in their own way. Rainbow Dash is still going to be the better flier I'm sure, and the one more passionate about flying, and she seemed happy having a friend with new flight capabilities. They're still going to be good friends even if Twilight has better magic now, and wings, and if it does cause some challenges in their friendships, that could make for a great problem to solve in an episode and there's probably a good moral somewhere in there too. Mostly though, I bet a lot of episodes in season 4 will barely address the fact that she's a princess, just the major adventure type ones mainly. The writers have said they want things to change as little as possible.
  11. Only one game for me. Spryo: Ripto's Rage. I chose it to 100 percent because I knew it would be an easy one, and I was right. I got 95 percent in Spider-Man 2, but some of those park challenges are just over the top insane.
  12. I've spent a few hundred hours on Persona 3 FES. It's easily my favorite game of all time, and I've maxed out every social link and played The Answer. Now I'm playing through Portable as a girl just for the other social links. Also, probably any game I liked when I was little because I'd just play them over and over.
  13. I'm a combination of Twilight and Fluttershy. I used to be a bookworm, and I like being very organized and OCD (I make a LOT of lists). I also used to not care about having friends then found a big social life very suddenly. As for Fluttershy, well, I'm shy, and insecure. I bet others see me as a Big Mac. I'm fairly stoic around people I don't know well.
  14. Definetly the Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme. Someday, I plan on making a bunch of Youtube videos about my opinions, and I'll be using the Buffy theme for my opening.
  15. Right there. End the thread guys, this person already got it. There's bad stuff for kids all over the internet, most of which isn't brony related. If parents are concerned about it, they shouldn't let their kids use computers except for schoolwork.
  16. My best and worst memory is one and the same, the first time I had a sleepover with friends. It gave me a life for the first time, and it also ruined my life, for years.
  17. Really? Because it was very brief, not really enough to be called a clip show or anything. And it was used for emotion and nostalgia, not like "Oh, we ran out of time and energy, so here's some clips from previous episodes", which is how clip shows work.
  18. I'll start by throwing you a bone. Yes, it's a simple show for little girls that is often cutesy and pandering. But sometimes even that can be good if it's done well. All of the main six are likable in their own way and have their pros and cons, the animation is colorful and pleasant, and the slice of life-ness of it keeps it all feeling grounded and usually not too silly (I tend to like the less wacky episodes better). There are also moments of genuine adventure in the two parters that keep things mixed up well. I do think sometimes people overrate the writing quality or the songs, but when there comes one of those really sweet moments that makes me feel really happy at the end of an episode, or there's a genuinely interesting conflict that isn't godawful predictable like a lot of kids shows, I know I'm watching something special. Really though, I just like that it keeps the focus on the characters, and doesn't feel like it has to be joke after joke or trying too hard to be disturbing and edgy. But anyway, if you're more about writing quality than characters, then MLP: FiM isn't for you. It's about the characters, as well as the general look and feel. For deep writing in an animated series, I'd suggest Noein or Serial Experiments: Lain.
  19. I get cheap dollar ones from the public library. They break easily, but like I said they're cheap. What's interesting is that every single time I get a new pair it sounds just a little bit different from the last one I got. I like that really.
  20. Why do you say haters gonna hate? Those are all extremely beloved movies. All three of them have received pretty much universal praise.
  21. The Secret World of Arrietty is actually a Miyazaki film, although Disney did put it out in America. My favorite Disney film of all time is The Fox and the Sound, which I find incredibly depressing, much more so than Bambi. I also love Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Bolt, A Goofy Movie, and Aladdin. My favorite movie of all time is The Brave Little Toaster, which was published but not made by Disney. I don't really count Pixar films as Disney films like everyone else does, but I'll go ahead and mention that my favorite Pixar film is Ratatouille, which I think is a very smart comedy with beautiful animation. I'm a huge animation fan. Half of my favorite movies are animated, and more than half of my favorite TV shows.
  22. I got really mad once and chucked one of my phones. It exploded, and there was a little cloud of smoke afterwards. Kinda cool really.
  23. There's quite a few. When I was younger I had a crush on Haruka from Noein. More recently I've had crushes on Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh, Freya from Final Fantasy IX, Aigis from Persona 3, and Yukiko from Persona 4. Funny enough, in real life I've only gotten one or two crushes.
  24. I pay close attention. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see people have something on and they're doing other things while watching, and they'll say "it's alright, I won't get lost or miss anything important". Where's the guarantee that the most important parts of the story are the ones you'll enjoy the most? I don't think it's worth having something on if you're not going to pay attention throughout. I also don't like it when people leave the TV on just to have something on in the background. Not really a big deal, it just bugs me.
  25. I played through Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on Hard Mode, and while on Normal it's easy, it's actually a very hard and really fun game on Hard Mode. Chapter 5 of Resident Evil 4 on Pro Mode was also pretty insane, because they don't give you that vest that reduces damage. Krauser was a nightmare. Really, the old side-scrollers are much harder than hard games from nowadays though. I've never beaten one. People say Super Mario World is easy compared to other old games, but I find it very challenging.
