  1. - A one-off pony who HATES their special talent - A Scootaloo episode that has nothing to do with her Rainbow Dash admiration - A sequel episode to Games Ponies Play - At least 2 Rarity episodes - A spike episode that focuses on his positive traits
  2. Since I prefer to keep quiet about the show, I have never really had a major embarrassing moment. I have had one small embarrassing moment however. I was watching "It's about time" on my computer and my mum walked in the room asking "What's this? A cartoon about talking ponies?" And she gave a look as if to say "This is weird..." It wasn't that embarrassing however because last year, around the time I first got into MLP, I asked her if she would assume men who liked the show were strange but she said she would'nt since people like what they like.
  3. I used the search function and there didn't seem to be any topics dedicated to HTF at all. I was just thinking about this the other day and would like to know if Happy tree friends is popular with the Brony fandom. Personally, I used to like happy tree friends but I stopped watching it after "see ya later elevator" due to the long waiting periods between episodes and ever since the tv series, I think too many episodes focus on Lumpy.
  4. Spongebob (seasons 4 - present) since the new writers just flanderise the characters to death. Spongebob is a crying squidward stalking doormat, Patrick is a bigger jerk to Spongebob, Squidward suffers abuse way too often, mr Krabs only cares about his money, Plankton's schemes are just idiotic and Sandy is a boring scientist which makes the least amount of sense because I am sure Sandy's rocket was the only classic episode that showed her scientist side. Another problem is the plots because around 90% of the new episodes take place at the Krusty Krab. Even if an episode does not take place at the Krusty Krab, we are almost guaranteed to see it for at least 1 minute. When it is not a Krusty Krab episode, the plot is either Squidward abuse or Spongebob and Patrick going jellyfishing.
  5. I have never met many haters since I prefer to keep quiet about it. However, there is a guy in my college class that never seems to shut up about his hate for the show if someone brings it up in a discussion. He has never said anything along the lines of "you are gay for liking MLP" but I am sure that's what he is thinking when someone says they like the show.
  6. Between Animaniacs and Tiny toon adventures, which one do you prefer? Although I love both shows, I am kneeling more towards Animaniacs since I like their humour slightly more and I am more likely going to re-watch them over Tiny toon adventures.
  7. As much as I would love to see a movie on the big screen, I honestly think it would fail. Bronies alone most likely won't make a profit and it would probably require non-bronies to go see it. It could end up like the Powerpuff girls movie and achieve critical success but bomb at the box office. However, I can see it being successful as a T.V. movie.
  8. First scene - I think Shining Armor was a bit more excusable as Chrysalis most likely used her magic to make him think she was healing him. However, when the other 5 gave Twilight the cold shoulder, I found that very harsh as they did not know Cadence personally and only seemed to care about their reputation. Celestia was no better and I thought she would have noticed something stange in Cadence's behaviour. Second scene - I was kind of expecting something bad to happen to Twilight but not a ring of fire that buried her underground. Third scene - One of my favourite transformations in cartoons.
  9. When I go to the toilet but the person before me doesn't bother to flush. When I am told to think of the positives to something when there are so many negatives. When people make fun of me for liking something targeted towards children.
  10. I have seen many people on the internet say that seasons 8 and 9 are the same quality as seasons 2 and 3, so I was wondering does anyone here think the same? I have not seen all of the episodes, but from what I have seen so far, I would say no as the plots are either too similar to older episodes or I find them extremely boring. I would say seasons 4 and 5 were closer to Hillenburg quality.
  11. Which of the seven days of the week is your least favourite and why? My least favourite day is Sunday because there is usually nowhere to go, most buildings are closed and I usually feel bored on Sunday.
  12. Hearts and hooves day - I'm not sure if this is a hated episode but it's definitely not very popular. This is my favourite CMC episode as it has some of my favourite lines from the show such as Sweetie Belle yelling "Aw, come on!" and the baby talk between Big Mac and Cherilee. The episode I hate that everyone else likes is Putting your hoof down. I felt the first half of the episode kind of dragged on a bit with Fluttershy being a doormat and I didn't like the way she treated Pinkie and Rarity later on.
  13. Out of all the Disney sequels, midquels and prequels, which one is your least favourite? My least favourite is definitely Tarzan 2. I felt the idea of Tarzan trying to discover his species was weak for a main plot and Mama Gunda was quite a disappointing main villain. Another one I never liked was the Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. Due to its light tone, to me, it did not really feel like a Notre Dame sequel and the evil plot to steal a bell just felt generic.
  14. Although MLP is in my top 10, it is definitely not my all time favourite cartoon. The cartoons I prefer are Ed, Edd n Eddy, Spongebob (seasons 1-3), rugrats and Garfield and friends. However, if MLP has any future creative and unpredictable plots, it could enter my top 5 and might make no. 1.
  15. Spongebob is probably the best example I can think of for jumping the shark. After the movie, the new writers dumbed everything down. The characters are now extremely bland. Spongebob and Patrick are complete morons in a bad way, squidward only uses his bored expression, mr krabs has been consumed by his love for money and sandy no longer appears that often. however, when she does appear, there is a 99.9% chance her science interest will be used. By getting rid of her interest in karate, they have removed a huge chunk of her character. Another problem is the repetitive nature of the episode plots. I personally feel there are too many episodes involving Spongebob working at the Krusty Krab, annoying squidward and plankton trying to run the Krusty Krab out of business. I don't think change is necessarily a bad thing but it depends on how the change is handled. When the Smurflings were introduced in season 5 of the Smurfs, I began to lose interest because I felt there were too many episodes focusing on the Smurflings and the adult smurfs were reduced to the roles of babysitters. The episodes I enjoy from seasons 5 to 9 don't have the Smurflings in them at all.
  16. There are so many episodes to choose from and I enjoy a lot of the old Simpsons episodes equally. One is definitely "The last temptation of Homer." It has some of my favourite moments in the entire series such as Homer's "unsexy" thought of Barney in a bikini and When he tries to read the smudged writing on his hand to Mindy. Another is "lost our Lisa" and I always crack up at Homers prayer to superman.
  17. We have all probably played at least one game that has gone faulty on us but have you ever played a game where the fault happened at a crucial moment? I have two situations: MLP FIM app - I got the bug where the game loaded the "Hasbro gaming" logo and would turn itself off. I was forced to delete the game and reinstall it which annoyed me because I was one heart away from buying Scootaloo. Monster Hunter Tri - I was taking part in an online quest to capture a Rathian. As soon as she started limping, my connection was terminated due to network instability.
  18. As most will agree, the Hillenburg era (seasons 1-3) was the time when spongebob was at his prime but are there any episodes from this era you dislike? Mine would be Naughty Nautical Neighbours. Episodes with Spongebob and Patrick fighting tend to be hit and miss for me and I thought this was definetly a miss as I did not find it that funny.
  19. Definitely the Flim Flam Brothers. I personally found it quite boring and it felt like it dragged on. Another would have to be the Cutie Mark Crusaders song. I know this song was bad on purpose but it is one of those songs I cannot listen to twice.
  20. I like western cartoons alot more than anime. I like Celestia more than Luna. Rainbow Dash is my least favourite of the mane 6. I dislike Doctor Who.
  21. I would honestly like to see them get there cutie marks in separate episodes but that will probably not happen. Since there is a huge possibility they will get their cutie marks in the same episode, I would like to see two get their marks at the beginning of the episode and the last one being unable to discover her talent until near the end.
  22. Pinkie pie - Party of one Rarity - A dog and pony show Applejack - Apple family reunion Twilight - Lesson zero Fluttershy - A bird in the hoof Rainbow dash - Read it and weep
  23. I like cool original and chilli heatwave. I like the chilli doritos slightly more but where I live, I can hardly ever find them as most places only sell the cool original and tangy cheese flavours.
  24. Are there any cartoons you used to watch that jumped the shark at any point? I have a few to name.... Spongebob - After the movie Rugrats - When Kimi joined Flintstones - When The Great Gazoo joined Smurfs - When the smurflings were created Fairly odd parents - When Poof was born Scooby Doo - When Scappy joined Simpsons and Futurama - When pop culture references became the main focus of episodes Dexter's Lab - When Genndy Tartakovsky left

    Hi!

Hi everyone. I am a fan from the UK and I have joined this website because everyone here seems to be nice people. I started watching the show mainly because I heard about all the hype and similar to most people in the fandom, I initially wondered why this show was so popular and I became a fan after watching the first three episodes. In my spare time, I am an active nintendo gamer and I have been playing nintendo games since the N64 era.
