  1. The dagger in Super Castlevania IV. Items in general are very, very circumstantial since your whip is so awesome. When your whip is way better with damage and speed and it still has a very practical range, why even bother using the dagger?
  2. *sees magical cartoon pony* *considers everything that's going on for a split second* "Hey guys, who slipped acid into my drink?"
  3. If you roleplay a lot or read a lot of stories involving OCs, it's possible you'll get a lot more investment out of those characters than those of the show. It's nothing to be ashamed about, they're just characters you invest a lot more time with and you've grown to like them.
  4. I've played roleplaying games before on forums and at tabletop, but I figure having a peer review of my character is a good idea. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/truffletop-r4286
  5. My Little Dashie didn't phase me much really. It was sad but I've had bigger tearjerks thrown my way. That and I'm just a hard person to really get to in general, at least when it comes to making me want to cry. Edit: While we're on the topic of tearjerkers... http://www.gogoanime.com/category/h2o-footprints-in-the-sand This anime left me depressed as hell for days. Odd that it still has a happy ending. If you're feeling really manly and need another tearjerker, here you go!
  6. Drama clubs... or drama in general even. Certain girly animes/cartoons. Women's clothes. Dating men. You wouldn't guess that I'm a very effeminant male at a glance. But that's proably because I'm mostly a normal guy... who just happens to like men and ponies.
  7. 1) Give Derpy her name back. 2) Give Derpy her name back. 3) Give Derpy her name back. ... I think I might have made my point here. That's the only real complaint I've had with the show's history besides making Rainbow Dash the stock bully character way too often.
  8. I would say a gimmick is more like a cheap over the top innovation to try and hook people in. Like for example, a lot of people would call the Wii's motion controls a gimmick. Though still, going by your definition I'd say one of my favorite gimmicks was with how Super Smash Bros was handled. I actually like the idea of an arena fighter where the objective is to knock people off the stage, and the % thing was a creative way to do it. I sort of wish that someone else would implement something like that into their game without being afraid of being claimed as a rip-off, because there's a lot of cool ways you can expand on Smash's current formula. Edit: Re-read the post, I misread it the first time through, my mistake. Though for something that was a legendary gimmick for it's time - the virtual boy.
  9. I may not remember correctly, as I've not paid too much attention to the background while watching the show, but isn't the moon always full when they show it? I think a couple points it's instead been a crescent. Regardless, Earth science doesn't seem to apply well to the pony world. After all, if it did Rainbow Dash would go up in flames attempting to get close to a rainboom.
  10. I sometimes dance. I usually tap my fingers or headbop. I listen to virtually everything. Though I love to play multiplayer video games when listening to really good music. Gets me really pumped!
  11. I think I'll run this as a first timer with Truffletop. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/truffletop-r4286 I figure she'd be way more in-character as someone who's inexperienced with this game anyway. After all, she'd rather go on an adventure than stay inside playing video games, but this particular one seems interesting.
  12. As someone who is active in MOBAs, I love marksmen esque champs. The playstyle of outsmarting, outpositioning, and whittling down your opponents is fun to me.
  13. 1) Portal to Equestria to be built in every nation. 2) Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is now popular all over the world (hopefully with the artistic integrety!). 3) A comfortable salary so I can live securely with my boyfriend. That about covers my interests.
  14. Johnny Joestar (From Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Check it out!), easily. He's so freaking cute, has an awesome stand power (fires energy waves from his finger/toe nails, pretty cool stuff ), and he's just downright fabulous. Oh, that and he loves horses. I tend to be a bit of a pony man but I'm sure in my headcanon we could cross that bridge. Big image below. Oh yeah, I should probably just mention right here that I'm mad gay :v
  15. weed Caffeine. I slurp down so much soda/coffee that I've developed a bit of a tolerance. Though oddly I can still go like a week without any caffeine and I'll get a huge spike of caffeine rush.
  16. Lyra, BonBon, Derpy, Octavia, Vinyl, and Dr Whooves. These 6 are the most developed background characters, at least in the fanon. I feel like they could do a lot of interesting stuff with such a mixed bag of characters as their main protagonists. It might even play like a completely different show. ... Though I think a lot of the lists will probably look similar to mine for the reasons stated. A lot on my list are fan favorites. Edit: Epic Ninja of the exact same set of characters lol
  17. If they're still up for grabs, could I ask for the various pets? I'm pretty sure my sister would love to have them. I'll send you my shipping info in a PM.
  18. Your brother has some fair opinions, but I'd argue his points. There are things that have been more viral than ponies on the internet. I'd very easily argue that people have a selective memory about these types of things. 1 brony or 1 furry seems to cause a ton of outrage when they're out of place. And I would also say that some simple lessons are the hardest to really teach. Of course these are meant for children, but really a moral reminder is never a bad thing. That'd be like complaining about it's presence in content like Disney movies and saying they're less quality for it.
  19. I think the buffalos have a pretty good lifestyle going on in Appleoosa right now. Hanging out with ponies eating apple pie while being a big beef machine sounds like fun.
  20. Reason with them. Just stroll into Ponyville and say "Hello". They're friendly sentient beings that have a grasp of our language, even if you were attacked I'm sure any hostility would be temporary. I'm sure it'd be fine.
  21. I rather enjoy my life the way it is, so abandoning it in general seems like a bad idea. But for the sake of the thread, why not? Visiting Equestria would be fun. Especially so as a mare.
  22. People have said this a million times in this thread, but if you're losing friends over just liking a show they're just plain bad friends. It's probably a good thing they decided not to associate themselves with you tbh. I get weird looks sometimes when I tell people "Yeah, I like My Little Pony" but it never goes further than that extent. I think you'll find adults are a lot more open to strange hobbies.
  23. Nice drawings. You paid very good attentioin to detail with your work here. But yeah, as for uploading work I'd recommend a tablet over a scanner tbh. Unless you only plan on doing ink drawing with no color of course. For whatever reason I get really bad luck with scanners reading my colored drawings. Regardless, your pictures are of a good quality for what you had to you.
  24. Oh cool, this board has a general chat thread too. Not many forums I visit do. If this thread happens to be active you might see me chiming in here a lot
