Did anyone else see Flash sentry in Three's a Crowd? In front of the train by the crystal Pegasus.(btw, there's crystal Pegasi now? I thought it was only earth ponies that went crystal) Same pony as in Equestrian Girls: Is he cannon now? Twilight didn't seem to even notice him. If the problem is that Equestra girls isn't cannon to FiM then is it possible for a Flash-Light like romance to develop if they were ever to meet? Not that I really enjoy the pairing that is.

I can't quite remember where I read this but I remember someone mentioning the CMC getting their cutiemarks in a talent show sometime this season. Now, remember the DISASTER that happened in "Show stoppers"? Each of the CMC played the WRONG part in their performance when it was obvious to the audience who should have been doing what. What if the 'talent show' that I've been hearing about is a revamp of what happened in "Show Stoppers"? Except this time, each filly does what their BEST at. Imagine a complete redo of the 'Cutiemark Crusaders Theme Song', but WAY better and completely on key, sung by Sweetie Belle. With Applebloom and Scootaloo for backup of course. What do you think? Probably Pegasus. Remember, Cadence was a Pegasus before she ascended. And that's just it. Alicorns are most likely ASCENDED pony's who started off as a member of one of the three races. Cadence was a Pegasus and gained ascension when she mastered the power and magic of love. Twilight was a Unicorn and ascended when she mastered the magic of Friendship. Going by that logic, Luna could have ascended when she mastered power over the moon and Celestia when she mastered the power of the Sun. What the two royal sisters were before they became Alicorns? I don't know. Fans speculate they might have been earth ponies, others believe(going by their respective coat and mane colors and what we've learned about the pony races so far) that Luna was a Pegasus and Celestia was a Unicorn. You mean 'Skyla'? Most people believe that's just a marketing thing. Five? Who's the fifth? We have Twilight, Cadence, Luna, and Celestia. Who's the fifth? Please don't tell me you mean 'Skyla'

I sided with AppleJack immediately, but eventually came around to Fluttershy's side after being convinced as the episode progressed. I get ponies are incredibly in tune with nature, but altering it THAT much? And Twilight not being the voice of reason and instead happily agreeing to messing with an animals nature to benefit themselves? I kept wondering what the bat's were supposed eat now that their main diet was magically ripped from them. Twilight disappointed me in this episode. I expected better from her.

Yeah you DID read it wrong, I was excited and typed that immediately after watching the new episode. Have you even seen the newest episode? What I typed was accurate in every way to the episode so how the hell could it have been a joke? Excuse my implied tone and I know determining the way something is meant to be taken is difficult to some when only given text, but having my enthusiasm mistaken for a JOKE of all things quite frankly felt insulting. I saw her cutiemark change in the episode and this topic was the first thing to enter my mind, I couldn't wait to share what I had learned. I didn't realize I wouldn't be taken seriously. As for 'DESTINY', maybe constantly mentioning destiny in the season 3 closer DOESN'T refer to what a pony will be doing, without choice, for the rest of his or her life, but instead a pony's destiny is to get a cutiemark in general. "It's got to be my destiny!" TRANSLATION: "Having this particular cutiemark has got to be my destiny!" And "And its what my cutiemark is telling me!" TRANSLATION: "This is how i'm going to interpret my cutiemark!" Notice how they all interpreted their cutiemarks incorrectly(or differently than the original cutiemark owner had seen it) and as a result ended up miserable. It wasn't their passion. It's all about how a pony views their cutiemark. As a related note, Rarity's love of gemstones and the resulting cutiemark could have led her to believe she was supposed to be a jeweler or gemologist, but instead she chose to stick with something she enjoyed and incorporated her new-found talent into her life, instead of trying to incorporate her life into her talent. Examples: Twilight could have thought her talent had something to do with stars even though that somewhat conflicted with how she obtained said cutiemark. Pinkie pie might have been led to believe it wasn't her PARTIES that had made her family happy but instead the balloons she had brought along to the party. What these other two cutiemaks could represent: Minuette(assuming we're going with her fan given talent of dentistry) is pretty accurate if you think about it. Ever got that little 'goodie' bag from a dentist after a check up or routine cleaning? Ever receive a small minute glass to help you learn how long to brush?(two minutes usually) Well there you go. Not that obscure. Ditzy/Derpy's cutiemark, if taking the explanation given in 'Doctor Whooves and Assistant', could well imply her so called 'bubbly personality'. Or in other words, her ability to take things in stride. If we were to say Derpy has her own life going on that is not depicted in the show we could assume she was born with those silly yet debilitating eyes. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara have shown us that ponies, especially young ponies, can be quite cruel to others despite what their culture is based and founded on.(Harmony and the elements that make it up) Ditzy's cutiemark is bubbles. She has a 'bubbly personality'. The result of keeping a positive attitude in the face of adversity. Adversity caused by her noticeably different eyes. As obscure and unrelated as her cutiemark SEEMS and as unlikely as it sounds, Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo's special talent(to me) is resilience. But we could just as easily say she's meant to blow bubbles or make soap for the rest of her life.

YES! WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4 EPISODE 7 The most recent episode (Bats!) proved that! Fluttershy's cutiemark changed from three butterflys to three bats when she became a batpony! It's too early after the episode to find any pics of it right now, but when it eventually ends up on youtube, pay close attention to her thigh when she is transformed.

Going by that logic ANY pony or creature of the same color is related. Rarity is related to Celestia, Pinkie Pie to Cheriliee to Cadence, Rainbow Dash to Photo Finish and so on. There's nothing wrong with them being similar colors, its ascetically pleasing.
