As far as I know, discovery family is only in the US. Most of the international distribution is handed via an agreement between Hasbro and Time-Warner, which means it airs on Boomerang or whatever other Warner cartoon channel they have outside of the United states. This change to boomerang from discovery family, if it happens,is purely a US thing. (As far as I know,it is ) If it does air on any discovery channels outside the US, then it's news to me. Anyone not in the US see it on a discovery based channel? It wouldn't bother me anyways cause my package has both. (I just hope AT&T doesn't buy out directtv and start fucking up my channels.)

Exactly, in fact most characters are drawn to specific formulae based on those observations, characters are drawn in a way to get a reaction, whether it's to go d'aww (cute) to laugh with (screwball) to boo and or cringe (sinister villain) or to be down right afraid (huge monster) Disney was the master of cute, Bambi is one of the best examples of the "cute" in action, while the "screwball" is best used by Warner bros, especially with Bugs Bunny, and (early) Daffy duck. A lanky build, small eyes (but not too small!), a dopey grin (big teeth optional) Many others are based on formulas. I'll post a link if I find where I got the formulas

I don't think it would fall under bestiality cause they are sapient. If I had a girl and she turned into a pony, I would still be with her, in fact, I would like that. A relationship with an MLP pony would be exotic, and I never had any hang-ups about dating a sapient creature of another species provided I liked them.

agreed, that is always how Ive seen the "objective view" of a perfect world. this is the concept of a utopia. in fact, the book that originated the concept is a deconstruction of the idea, and is dismissed as an impossibility. the name "utopia" roughly translates to "no place" that being said, I would choose not-perfect equestria, not only cause we have freedom, but also because its realistic. my vision of equestria is somwhere beetween the shows equestria and earth. (not that canon equestria is perfect, it isn't) a mix of the good and bad from each. (and a few dietals changed for realism.) examples: * wars do still happen from time to time, there are many nations, cultures, and heritages. most threats are more in the form of radicals and tyrannical leaders than super powerful threats like discord or chrysalis, although that does happen from time to time, usually a few events every 500 years * weather is more like earths (it used to be partially controlled by Pegasi though, to undo discords damage and to rebalance the system discord wrecked. now they no longer need to) even so, many pegasi still work in weather due to their excellent weather prediction abilities. * most places in equestria don't use punny names, although some do. ex: ponyville is still ponyville, fillydelphia is the same, but there are also cites like Soche and Isling. (the capital of Handon, the province where ponyville is located) many of the "punny" ones were usually done on purpose and have an interesting story behind them. * the way a pony is named can vary cause of heritage and or country of birth. not all ponies use the "equestrian system" in naming themselves. Trixie, for example, comes from a country where ponies use human like names (her family comes from the nation of Alcatel). *they have modern tech and drive in cars and fly in planes. (yes, pegasi can still fly, but planes can out speed them, and some can out manouver them. ) * forehooves have magic around them that functions as hands for ponies of all races, can stand fully upright of nescessary, and many can walk on two hooves. unicorns can still use magic much like they do in the show. (ponies have an organ in their bodies to manipulate the energy around them.) ponies who lose this ability are considered disabled. * the planet is called Eqquis and these are just a few things form my "headcanon equestria" i could put more, that is for another thread. (and would take pages to describe!) its not perfect, but its what i would love to see if i went there.

heh heh, yeah, i didn't really base my headcanon on the actual canon. its kinda more of an au when you think about it. i added a list of ages based on what i think they are in canon in my original post.

Twilight Sparkle, for many reasons: * Im an Introvert. * I don't completely avoid parties or anything like that (and neither does she), but most of the time, I prefer being at home reading, playing video games, drawing (mostly of cars), or tinkering with something. I can talk to others, but after awhile, I feel tired and just want to do something by myself. *I'm a Nerd * I like to read and learn new things. I was the one who had his hand up all the time in class asking questions about the subject. (much to my fellow students and a couple teacher's annoyance) * I like to read * maybe not to the extent twilight does (but I was when I was younger!) but I do like to read, whether its books, magazines related to my intrests, (ex. Pop sci, Mopar Collectors guide), or online content. * i like to share what I know* *I tend to use large words* Its just natural to me, its usually hard not to. * modesty* Im not usually one to brag or boast, in fact, if you're one to constantly brag about yourself, you will just end up annoying me, and maybe even piss me off. (people who act like they are better than me piss me off to no end) * somewhat awkward* its hard for me to carry on a conservation. I'm not the best at picking up "body language" or other nonverbal cues, and may miss something. I have also at times, been rather blunt about something, or accidentally insulted someone. (I didn't find out i did till later) * public speaking is easy for me* I may get nervous and have a hard time speaking to one other person or a small group conversation, but doing a speech in front of a large group? its nothing to me, if i have all my notes prepared, that is. A presentation in front of a large group of people is rather easy, and sometimes, I can even kinda put a bit of a "floursh" sometimes when i do a presentation. (gotta try to keep you're audiences interest afterall! ) and well, you get the idea.

Twily without a doubt! why Twilight Sparkle? I just love everything about her. she's Intelligent, Modest, sweet, and beautiful beyond words. Everything I want in a woman is in that absolutely, incredibly beautiful and adorable purple pony. (the very definition of Adorkable, I might add!) I also have so much in common with her. her desire to learn, her curiousness of the world around her and her love for reading are all things that I either currently share, or parts that remind me of my younger self that i want to get back into. 2. Honeymoon? Hmm, mostly where Twily wants to go. Its more about being with her than anything to me, but Id love to see places with lots of historical interest, both on earth and on her world. 3. Foals? maybe.
