I would have to save Applebloom is the face of the group, but that they equally rule it together. Scootaloo however seems to be the least "powerful" of the three. She seems to always be in the back except for 1 or 2 episodes.

I would like to see Spike maturing. He was very child like in season 4. I want Spike to start taking things more seriously, and actually begin thinking about his actions and his relationships. This will get at least one person on here *cough* Ghostface *cough to hate me, but I want Sparity to end. Not just stop, because I hate when story lines are not finished, but resolved. I want either Spike to find some reason to stop liking Rarity, or for Rarity to let Spike down gently. I feel that would add some depth to the show rarely seen thus far. Right not Spike, to me, is the annoying puppy dog always at Rarity's feet, and I feel Rarity purposefully leads Spike on. Another thing about Spike I would like to see happen, is to not be used as just "I cause the problems, now I'm gonna cry." or "Look at how awesome I am. Oh wait, I guess I am not as awesome as I thought I was.". My favorite Spike moment is from Winter Wrap up when he says that Twilights bird house should be condemned. I thought that was so funny, yet snarky. I would love for Spike to return to those days.

Earth Ponies-Magic of strength and the Land. Pegasi-Magic of flight, walking on clouds, and weather. Unicorns-Straight up magic. Alicorns-All 3 magics.

If there had to be a redemption episode, Gilda. Definitely not Chrysalis or Tirek.

If I remember the end of EQG correctly, everything wraps up nicely doesn't it. The element is back, Sunset Shimmer was stopped, and Twilight returned. The only continued reminder of it is the occasional "Brad" sighting. I'm sure they tried to make EQG have as little impact on the actual series as possible. Also something that I just realized, only Twilight and Spike went there. They don't have anyone else to remember it with so there is almost no point in bringing it up really since that world is all fixed. I'm curious how they will handle Rainbow Rocks. I hope in the least it is just "Well, lets scrap the whole worlds are linked by the mirror thing and have this brand new world with all the ponies happening to be humans." It would be stupid if Twilight has to go back for some boring reason again. Some new villain also escaped into the human world and Twilight has to go back once again, and in the mean time starts a rock band. I really don't like EQG.

It is hard to say. No one knew Tirek was around still Celestia had the vision and Luna happened to watch it at the same time. So it isnt like Discord has been setting up this 1000 year old ploy just to make Twilight a real princess. More like he is honestly a pretty weird guy and noticed that those certain items in their journal were important. He must have somehow realized they would help with the box and wanted them to open it using these important items. He probably didn't realize the necklace given to him from Tirek who got it from his brother, who most likely got it from either the ponies themselves or made it because of the ponies influence on him, would be a key for Twilight. Honestly if you look at the story overall, it is a little weak. However, the episode was still good for all the emotions and action that happened as ell.

I've been trying to put popular songs right now with certain ponies. So far I have come up with Magic-Coldplay for Twilight and Clarity-Zedd feat. Foxes for Rarity just because I thought she was saying Rarity for the longest time and haven't found anything to replace it yet. Do you guys and gals have any other songs out right now that could work this way, or disagree with my two choices?

Most OC's are bad. There are assholes out there. The wonderful thing about blogs though are that you can choose whether to follow it. Some people like bashing other peoples work, some like critiquing those same works. Others can appreciate all OC's and should not bother themselves with the blog. Let it be, and just ignore it if you don't like it. Not enough people in all walks of life understand that. 95% of things you see in life are purely by your choice. You choose to see something, and you choose to let it bother you.

Things I don't want to see in Season 5: -Random Transformations. Like I said in another thread, they are already the Crystal Breezies who harness the Rainbow Elements of Power and Harmony with an alicorn princess leader. Why can't they just stay simple ponies? Granted they do for most of the season, It is still slightly annoying. -CMC. Either start to give them their cutie marks, or break up the flow. Have one of them turn on the others for a change. One that would be awesome would be an episode which starts off with them trying to get their cutie marks and one of them gets discouraged and leaves. Of course it has to be resolved... but not for another 6 episodes. That way it feels like there is actual weight to the decision and it scares the viewer into thinking it is permanent. Just not these 1 episode story lines that always end up being happy in the end. I know it is a show for little girls, but I think it would be a nice breath of fresh air, even for them. That can be applied for the mane 6 or any other character too. -Sparity... please just end it. To me it makes both Spike look like a helpless little loverboy and Rarity look like a tease and meanie. Either drop it or have them actually bring it up in the show. I LIKE DEPRESSING AND DARK STORY LINES DANG IT! Speaking of Spike... -Spike needs to grow up a bit. I'm tired of seeing him be the useless little boy who always has to be held up by his peers or is the cause for most of their problems. He seems to always be dropping things, causing problems, and is just used as a laughing tool. I want to actually care for Spike, not feel bad for him or hate him all the time. -OOC characters. I don't want to be copying too much of what others have said, but this season did seem like it had the most OOC moments. Applejack goes from being a rather chill pony to complete freak out with Applebloom when she is potentially gone for a few days, even though she has done this before to her. The rest of the Apple family might have been there too... but still. Twilight has gone from quirky, nerdy, overreacting know it all to very logical, calm, collective, boring princess Twilight. I know she is supposed to be a princess... but does she have to act like that when not on royal duty? Pinkie Pie needs to tone things down a notch. Breaking the laws of Physics, and being obnoxious are different things. Moments like her walking in thin air while being chased by the Hydra are ok. Berating Fluttershy because of the way she sings, causing her to cry, and having everyone else scorn you is not. -Stop ruining plot lines months in advance. This is more towards Hasbro. Don't reveal plot lines of the show months before they even come out. I know they are trying to make money, but can't they do the same thing the week leading up to the episode? Rainbow Ponies came out a long time ago, and it wasn't even a real surprise when we actually saw it in the show. Little kids might not be as keen eyed, but still. I'll stop there for now just because I don't want to be too negative about the show. I will still watch and love the show for what it is, but if they could change things but just a bit with the above, I would be so happy.

I think it can be. Spongebob jokes are stupid low brow humor for the most part. But they used to be veiled back then and you had to think for a few seconds to what the actual meaning was. Now days they are straight forward with their jokes intentions and meanings. Example of a few old jokes that had you thinking for more than a second. The dabloons that spongebob ives gary so he will take a bath are soap bars and this dialogue is said. "Look, Dabloons. Don't drop them." The common consensuses is that spongebob was making a prison rape joke. I don't watch spongebob anymore but I havent heard any recent jokes be anywhere near as risque or clever as that.

Will the show eventually grow old and stale, yes. Nothing lasts forever at its best. Even if it stays just as good, we will grow old of it. Things need to change, but eventually it will die. I think the show is perfect right now. Maybe stop giving the ponies these transformations (EQG, Rainbow power, breezies, etc) but otherwise the show is fine. Spongebob became so popular that it had to live up to a reputation/expectation. The show is just gay innuendos and stupid humor, whereas in the past it was clever innuendos and witty, but stupid humor. MLP will stay strong for a few more seasons, and then fade away. BUT, hopefully the fandom will stay strong through it all.

They should do what they did to bulk biceps. If the situation actually calls for the character to be important and worthwhile, sure bring them in. Give them a voice. Just don't make it an every other episode thing. 1 or 2 a season max.

I believe he is reformed. He will still mess with them and cause the occasional discomfort for the pony folk, but he will never turn his back on them again. I always knew he hadn't been truly reformed before that, but he actually was sad when he betrayed them this time. If they do do another discord betrayal, it wont be because of his own doings.

I liked him purely from a dialogue/voice acting perspective. His voice actor was amazing. He went from a calm, weak individual to basically manically shouting every line with more power he got. It seemed the power was driving him more and more insane. Best villian so far. I wish we could have seen his brother as well but maybe for a future episode. Besides the stupid rainbow power stuff, this has been my favorite moment of MLP.

As far as we know not even a year has really passed in equestria. As far as we know this could have all taken place over a few months time. After being in prison for who knows how long, I'm sure tirek was extremely weak. Also we don't know where Tartarus is exactly. Maybe it's far away or In another dimension. It doesn't seem all that out of place to me to be honest.

This isn't a constructive comment, but does it anger anyone else just a little when people post spoilers in the title of posts? I am waiting till saturday/sunday to watch the episode but already many things have been spoiled for me because people keep posting things in the titles of their discussions. Go ahead and talk about it if you must... but it slightly upsets me this is happening.

Sorry to be invasive but seeing your age, why is it hard for you or your friend to get it themselves? I'm not judging you based on your age, i'm just curious is all. If they aren't comfortable enough to be open with their parents, then why do they need to buy it in front of them at all? Just wait till you go to the mall with friends and buy it then. Sorry if I come off as mean.

As a 21 year old brony it becomes increasingly hard to be apart of this fandom because of how some of the members act. Being a young kid and exploring new things is alright, and with time your behavior will be forgiven. But when you see people your own age running around acting irrational because of the actions of a tv show aimed for little kids, it makes you question yourself. I don't want to sound like an elitist, but these members in particular are why I will most likely never reveal to society at large that I am a Brony. I like being a brony because the show brings me happiness, but I would rather not deal with the scorn and hate that is thrown our way.

Brony haters are people who hate MLP and bronies who represent the "small" minority of people who do porn, act out their love for MLP in an extravagant manner in public, and are outright invasive and annoying with their love for MLP. Their hate for the entire fandom is highly generalized and there is no reasoning with them. The only non bronies you can reason with are those who don't understand the fandom but accept that it makes people happy in some way. Bronies are those who love MLP and group together to enjoy the show. They range form those who perform music, draw art, write stories, and make memorabilia, to those who make porn and other more questionable things. Most bronies just want to be left alone to love the show while a few people want the world to accept them for who they are even though it might bring a bad image of the fandom as a whole. Speaking OOC for a bit, It can be a bit embarrassing how some bronies act. The meet up videos and other more "Cringey" bronies do make it hard to be apart of this fandom. I just hope one day society moves on from needlessly hating us and the fandom as a whole doesn't try, whether accidentally or on purpose, to make a bad name for itself.

It would have been nice to have a sped up montage of the different competitions and cut out some of the less needed scenes but otherwise the episode was fine... except for spikes singing.

Gotta Share Gotta Care is eh. The pinkie rap is a little cringey for me, and Glass of Water is funny because of the references made but isn't sung all that well.

I'll point out reasons I didn't like the episode that I haven't seen already stated. Spike is still acting like a little kid. I know he's a baby dragon... But it's getting a little old that he is still acting like this. I feel like he should be maturing a little bit even though he doesn't have the dragons greed making him physically grow up. Biceps didn't actually speak. Spitfire didn't speak. Luna didn't speak. Griffons didn't speak. Pinkie is still being annoying and obnoxious. Also a little bit thick headed. Overall I thought the episode was ok. I had to stop watching a few times because of how embarrassed I was for spike. I would have preferred it not being a spike centered episode but oh well. Looking forward to next weeks.
