I would like to see an episode centered on the Princess. The comics did it.

No, you're not the only one. Someone on TV Tropes made the case that every single adventure the gang has been on and every single foe they have taken down has been a test set up by Celestia, and that the Princess was manipulating her friends along the way. Thus, by the time Twilight became an alicorn, her friends would have served their purpose, and so she wouldn't need them anymore. Regarding your argument, Twilight will probably tell you, "I don't think I'm better than anypony!" Let's also not forget that Twilight is from a royal family and the main character.

I understand the reasoning, but you'd think that as the ruler of Equestria, she'd take a more active role in defending it. Regarding Luna at the end of "A Canterlot Wedding", many people thought her cameo screamed "they wasted a perfectly good character." (It's hinted that Discord is more powerful than the Princesses.) Speaking of Luna, it's reported that she will get an episode where she has a nightmare. This will be her second solo episode since season two's "Luna Eclipsed." I'm hoping this season, we will get more info on the Princesses.

That would be cool. It'd be the ultimate paradise for me.

I have to agree. To be fair, Celestia didn't make that many appearances in the first season. But my problem with her is that anytime there's a problem, she doesn't really do anything to solve. At least she tried in "A Canterlot Wedding," even though she got her flank handed to her. Talk about disappointing.

What does "Q2" mean? I hope it's not that long. From what I''ve heard, spring is supposed to start on March 20, so I suspect that the new season will either start on the 21st or 28th of March. At least I hope so.

WHAT?! Are you telling me we have to wait another TWO MONTHS for the new season?! This is really starting to irritate the piss out of me! I thought for sure the new season would start next month. This eleven-month wait had better be worth it! From the looks of the trailer(s), it will be.

I could be wrong on this, but wasn't there one part in the trailer where Twilight suddenly teleports away from her friends? This was pointed out by one user on EQD. I hope this isn't like last season where Twilight has to save the others because they're useless without her. I'm also confused about what that blue stuff was on either side of the library. Was that supposed to be water, poison joke, or what? I was watching the trailer on my phone, so it was hard for me to tell.

They're hyping the crap out of this season. This could be the last season, so that's probably why. The only thing that I disliked was that there is still no date for the season premiere. I'm guessing it's either March 21 or 28. In any regard, really looking forward to the new season. It looks as if they're going to attempt another season-long story arc. Hopefully, it'll be better than last season. Last season it seemed as if the writers wanted to write a horizontal narrative for the Equestria Games and key stories, but Hasbro wouldn't let them. (My guess is because Hasbro feared it would confuse viewers.) Maybe this season will be different.

I honestly knew nothing about MLP when I became a brony. Sure, I'd seen a commercial here or there, but I never gave it much thought. (Though, I did think the baby ponies were cute.) So, I was quite surprised to learn that FIM was the fourth generation.

The wonderful characters are what made me fall in love with this series.

Personally, I think Rainbow Dash would be the worst at parenting.

So, Princess Celestia, Spike, and the others shouldn't be relatable because they were also involved in life-or-death situations. I think you forgot that Princess Celestia was involved in a life-or-death battle with Nightmare Moon and wasn't affected at all (at least not psychologically-wise). So, by your logic, Princess Celestia isn't relatable. You're also acting like this is the first grim/dark moment in the show. Each of the characters has gone insane at least once, and "The Return of Harmony" was very dark. Finally, I think the only thing I agree with you on is that the episode was pandering to the bronies, but that's up to interpretation. I feel that if shows like "The PowerPuff Girls" and "Teen Titans" can get away with having dark elements, so can this show. Our standards have changed. Most parents don't shelter their kids and therefore, aren't afraid to expose their lids to shows and movies that have grim/dark moments. Studios like Pixar have proven this. Lastly, it's a cartoon for 7-10 year old girls. Calm down and stop acting like you're entitled to have the show run the way you want. We have enough bronies who do that crap already. Your voice isn't the only one that matters.

I actually thought she was much younger than that. To me, she seemed to be smaller than the CMC. While it is true that everyone refers to him as a baby dragon, I really don't think that's true, at least not mentally-wise. Spike has been shown to be quite responsible, hard-working, and able to hold down a job. In "Look Before You Sleep," Twilight said that Spike was away on royal business, so he is mature and can clearly handle things on his own. And speaking of Spike and the CMC, here's hoping they have more episodes together in season five.
