  1. I think it's been well established within the show that Spike isn't ten. Anyway, I don't ship Spike with Rarity. I prefer SpikeBelle. SpikeBelle forever!
  2. My point exactly! I know some G1 fans would like for MLP to go back to its darker and edgier roots (this is why Avatar: The Last Airbender is so popular) and I'm all for that. But it has to be done gradually. You can't make some lighthearted, fun-filled slice-of-life episodes, then make the show really dark whenever a new villain shows up. It makes the tone inconsistent. This abrupt change in tone is why "The Return of Harmony" is such a Dethroning Moment of Suck for so many people (and "Lesson Zero" certainly didn't help matters in the slightest), because the show felt like the genre had completely shifted.
  3. I'm actually shocked that Hasbro let them get away with this. But, like in "It Ain't Easy Being Breezies" and "Bats" (both horrible episodes), as long as they get across that it's all to create a new toy and sell it, it's okay. Seriously, they couldn't get away with showing Twilight punching Tirek, but they could get away with making the episode as dark and as frightening as possible? I'm surprised the soccer moms didn't complain about it. This series doesn't have to a good track record when it comes to villains. Maybe season five will finally give us a really good villain.
  4. As much as I love DBZ, I have to say that this was one of those episodes that was so obviously pandering to the periphery demographic that it was just disgusting. I liked it better when it was just subtle nods to the bronies (such as the various pop culture references and mature, adult-oriented jokes that would fly over kids' heads).
  5. No, I don't, and I'm particularly tired of these paranormal activity movies.
  6. I played both Vice City and San Andreas with my brother when I was a kid. Our father didn't like us playing them due to the language (even today, he won't let me get anything that has foul language in it). Our mom couldn't have cared less, though.
  7. Well, that's true, but I think the game's content makes it clear that the game is intended for an adult audience. I mean, no rational adult would ever consider letting their kid play a game like GTA.
  8. I hate this stereotype that we gamers are nothing but a bunch of man-children living in our mother's basement playing video games all day. Anyone who thinks playing video games is childish clearly hasn't played any adult-oriented games.
  9. Any modern day pop song will do due to the stupid lyrics writers write down, but for an old school example I'd have to go with "Who Let the Dogs Out" by Baha Men. In terms of bands I hate, I can't stand Pearl Jam.
  10. I'm completely blind in my left eye, so I'm right-eye oriented. My vision in my right eye is poor, only 20/100.
  11. I LOVE bananas and grapes. Mmm! Hey, wait a minute. Why aren't tomatoes on this list? I guess they would go under "other."
  12. This seems to be a common trend among shows, especially cartoons. The first three seasons will be really great. Every season after that progressively gets worse and worse. Therefore, I fear foe the new season of MLP as they are bringing in writers. I don't know. The new writers of season four surprised me with some good episodes, so maybe I'll probably be surprised by season five. But, SponegeBob has been getting somewhat better in recent years. While I wish it would have ended with the movie (which is most likely how MLP is going to end) like it was supposed to, I am kind of looking forward to the second film, in part because Stephen is the one writing it, supposedly.
  13. While I did love GTA V, like Angry Joe, I didn't feel like the story or the characters were very memorable. My favorites are still Vice City and San Andreas. One of the problems that I had with GTA V was the fact that some of the characters seemed inconsistent. For example, Michael and Trevor would be arguing like a married couple in a cutscene, then they would be talking as if the argument never happened while you were on your way to the destination. This got very annoying very quickly. It tended to get on Franklin's nerves as well.
  14. I'd like to see more episodes delving into the relationships between Spike and Twilight and Rarity and Sweetie Belle. I'd love more episodes involving Spike and the CMC, particularly with Sweetie Belle (being a huge SpikeBelle fan). It's funny that these four are pretty much the same age, yet they barely have any episodes at all.
  15. This question was actually one of the show's Wall Banger moments on its TV Tropes page. It makes no sense whatsoever for Fluttershy to be the one to reform him. You would think that with her being Celestia's personal protege and star pupil that Twilight would be the one to do it. It makes more sense logically and from a storytelling point. It would give them both some development. Maybe if Twilight had been the one to do it, we wouldn't have needed five episodes in season four (the season premiere two-parter, "Three's a Crowd", and the season finale two-parter) detailing how they became friends; they easily could have done that with "Keep Calm and Flutter On", which most people wanted to be a two-parter. (And let's be honest, it's not like there's a small number of bad episodes from season three that could have taken the spot for "Keep Calm and Flutter On, Part Two.") I don't know. I guess the writers know that Fluttershy's one of the most popular characters, so they decided to use her. This makes this decision funny as Fluttershy would have more reason than anypony to not want anything to do with Discord.
  16. Yes, because as we all know, money is what makes the world go 'round. LOL
  17. It's a tie between cheesecake and banana pudding. Mmm!
  18. Twilight seems to have an anxiety disorder. Spike and Rainbow Dash both seem to have emotional deprivation disorder. Pinkie Pie seems to suffer from schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, and severe depression. Rarity seems to suffer from OCD. Fluttershy and Applejack both seem to have a problem with caring too much about others and not enough about themselves.
  19. Shoot, man, now I want this episode to be made! Or someone should at least do it as a fanfic. I do believe tha an episode about addiction can work. Other cartoons, such as Rugrats, have done it. But, wasn't addiction what "Inspiration Manifestation" was all about? "Alvin and the Chipmunks" even did an episode about Miss Miller struggling with a gambling addiction. Similarly, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" did an episode with Toph struggling with a gambling problem.
  20. Kiss 'em back, of course, and declare them my very special somepony.
  21. I'd ask her if she'd like to snuggle with me. I bet it's nice and warm with a pony spooning with you.
  22. I'm right there with you. This is something that I have never understood about this fandom. Again, not all bronies are like this. The previous generations were crapped on even in the documentary about bronies. Seriously, John?! I saw the entire series of "My Little Pony" on DVD. I'd like to watch episodes online before I go out and buy it. I don't think very many bronies realize how the previous generations helped shape "Friendship is Magic." For example, many of the characters are either from or based on characters from previous generations, such as Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie, etc. I would be interested in seeing the previous generations, especially G1 since it's darker in tone. One can't help but wonder what G4 would be like if it was darker. The season four finale was pretty dark, so this may be a sign that the show is headed in a new direction. If G1 could get away with it, G4 probably could. The concept of death would be a great episode for Twilight and Spike or Applejack and Apple Bloom. It seems that the only thing that bronies and long-time Pony fans can agree on is that G3/G3.5 sucked! But, again, it did help contribute to G4.
  23. I''ve never noticed this, but if this is true, then it would make the flashback in the season four premiere where Luna transforms into Nightmare Moon really believable when taken out of context.
