    There was nothing selfish about what she did in Sonic Rainboom (that was Rarity who was selfish), or Hurricane Fluttershy, or Sleepless in Ponyville, or Wonderbolts Academy, or Testing Testing 1,2,3. You're arrogance is getting pettier by the minute. Not being nice doesn't make her a bad character.

    She's perfectly acceptable as the voice of reason and the "straight-mare". Every show needs a character like that. I just find her extremely bland and annoying though. Pretty much the typical criticism she gets. I know her fans hate hearing it all the time, but I really can't bring myself to care for her. Also, I tend to prefer bad girls, like RD.

    This episode wouldn't have been nearly as much fun if they had gone for a more grounded, believable approach. Watching Rainbow go crazy at act recklessly was just as entertaining as watching Twilight go nuts in Lesson Zero. Seems rather hypocritical to me that RD should be demonized for what she did while Twilight gets praise and affection for acting just as reckless and stupidly and doing just as much damage. Heck, I'd even say Twilight's reason for losing it was even more petty and selfish than RD's. It's a blatant double standard, and it's making this fandom insufferable.

    You would be in the minority on that. Yesterday won a lot of people over for her, and rightfully so. Only a handful are holding onto this stupid fad of being overly critical of her for really weak reasons. She did what she did out of love for her pet. NOT selfishness. I'm sorry, but this is getting ridiculous.

    You really think they're gonna do that to a pony who's helped save them all on multiple occasions in the past? A small fine, and maybe some work suspension would be perfectly acceptable here. Seriously, the 3 people who voted worse here are the ones who need to be incarcerated.

    No. That is way too excessive. RD is a hero of Equestria, that's not something they're gonna forget to acknowledge. Besides, a city of clouds probably can be repaired in no time at all, and winter coming a little early is not the end of the world. People are blowing this out of proportion because RD is a target of unfair over-criticism these days, while the other mane 5 and even Spike get a free pass for their stupidity. Double standards.

    She's the only mane 6 who hasn't gotten one yet. So yeah, she does need one.

    Same deal with all the mane 6, especially Rarity and Fluttershy (yeah, you would be surprised at how many people hate Fluttershy).

    You're making it sound worse than it is. It wasn't slavery, it was indentured servitude (huge difference), and it would've involved Fluttershy doing something that she loves anyway. Plus, RD did realize she was wrong and immediately fixed it. Fluttershy forgave her, there's no reason we shouldn't either. People make mistakes, it's part of life. You can't hold it against them. It's petty and shallow. The whole point of this show is friendship, and part of friendship is forgiving friends when they hurt you and are sorry for it. RD was sorry for it, so she should be forgiven. End of story. I guess the message of the show must not mean much to you. Why would you watch it then?

    That's because she is better than everyone, at most things at least. If you can back it up, you can take pride in it. There is nothing wrong with that. All fans act that way act that way about their favorite pony. It's not fair of you to single out one fanbase. Besides, Rd's never done anything terrible enough to not be forgiven for. There's nothing wrong with taking pride in your accomplishments. And Pinkie's physics defying shouldn't count in her being faster, since it's kinda cheating. Because we understand what makes a good character better than you do apperantly

    Honestly, why is it such a big deal to some people if everyone likes a pony they don't like? Maybe they're not interesting to you, but they are to a lot of people, so what exactly is your problem with that?

    Twilight is so plain compared to Rainbow Dash. I honestly don't get this fandom. Ah well. Dash whooped her in the world cup a couple years ago, and is overall better regardless of this poll.

    @Mavis How can Scootaloo be overrated when she's not even in first on the poll? I swear people are just throwing that word around arbitrarily, even if it makes no sense, and it's becoming annoying. (okay, I have no idea why the damn mention thing isn't working for me)

    And I hate it when guys say Dash is just an arrogant jerk. That's not even remotely true. She can be arrogant and she can be a jerk, but she's also loyal, helpful, dependable, multi-layered, determined, funny, and just all around fun to watch. To me, it's way better than Applejack just going "Apple's and family, apples and family, hyuck hyuck!". *Yawn*

    Rainbow Dash by far. Applejack is extremely unlikeable to me. She's boring, annoying, shallow, I don't care about her stupid family, her episodes are repetitive. She just sucks overall. (Sorry if that was harsh, but she's just awful.)

    My vote gave Scootaloo the win! YES! Scootaloo's GOAT tier as far as I'm concerned. Not even Luna could outshine her when she finally got her episode. Man was it satisfying to see so many people shrug her off as just a generic Rainbow Dash clone suddenly grow to love her once she got her episodes. Sure a very small minority still dismiss her as one-dimensional (for reasons that are absolutely senseless to me), but another give her another episode or two and she'll have them eating crow like a true boss!

    It's jealousy over the fact that more people love her than whoever their favorite pony is. It makes them oblivious to the development and improvements she's made as a character. I promise you, a TON of people have admitted to liking her more these days, and I've seen it.

    A small minority of people fail to see the comedy in her personality. The arrogance is played for laughs, and I honestly love her for it. It what makes a far more entertaining character than Applejack as far as I'm concerned. Whatever though, that favorite pony poll on here doesn't lie.

    Ah so what if 19 people aren't too fond of Dash? That's nothing compared to the well over 550 people who voted her their favorite on the other poll. Glad most people see the soft side to her. As for me, Applejack is my least favorite. I don't care about her or her boring family.
