Aww, I absolutely love this! Luna is just simply adorable and thank you so much for taking the time to make this for me! Perhaps I should request art more often. In fact, would you be interested in making this an art trade? I would be more than happy to draw something up for you to at least show my gratitude. I'm not entirely familiar with the digital medium either, but this looks quite good for just starting out in the medium. Just like any other art form, it just takes time, practice and some fun experimenting to get where you want to be. So far, you seem to be heading in the right direction, so keep it up and remember to have fun with it; that is what's most important. Thank you so much again for this, as I really do love this. Very lovely work all around! Even the Link drawing you did as a kid looks quite good. Shading is nicely done all around, giving a nice sense of depth to your work, and the textures stand out nicely in the last piece. The only thing I would suggest is to push the shadows a little be more to add a bit more contrast to your works entirely. Of course, you don't want to do too dark, but lighting and shadows are something fun to experiment with, as these can also dramatically alter a drawings expressed mood or atmosphere. I do hope to see more of your work soon, as I am quite impressed by what you have so far. Keep up the great work and take care! -
Alright, I'm locking this thread up before it gets out of hand, as some of the more recent comments are neither constructive nor progressive in the way of moving this discussion along. If you have a point to make, that's fine and one should be able to express and explain their opinions and viewpoints. But when your discussion reverts to making nothing by nonsensical and mocking-like comments, that is only asking for trouble and we will not have that here.

Just so you know , there is actually quite a lengthy thread on this sort of subject here if you'd like to join in. This sort of thread would also be more approrpiate in the Forum Games section since it is more of a random and sometimes spammy sort of thread designed as a fun forum game, where as the 'Media Discussion' section is better utilized for threads that can spark a decent amount of coherent discussion on a specific topic. For further information, you can also take a look at the Forums Resource Map to view guides on each forum section as well as to see what sort of content is most fitting within each of them. With all that in mind, this thread will now be locked. Take care!

Hello @Cloby604! Just so you know, I have merged your thread (along with a couple others) to this existing one that deals with the same subject of picking a race if you were to live in Equestria. Under normal circumstances, I would say to use the search function to see if your idea for a thread already exists before posting a new one. But since the search function is temporarily down at the moment, just keep it in mind for the future. -
Sorry Tross, but according to our current guidelines on the issue of advertising, this thread would be considered a violation of this rule and will now be locked. Though it is clear that you were not seeking any sort of financial support for your website from members, promoting one's website in threads and such is still deemed as advertising and is not permitted. However, as it has been pointed out, you are more than free to add your website link to both your signature and on your profile. Specifically speaking of signatures, this is also a far more effective way to share your website with other members, since it will follow you with every post you make here on the forums and may garner more attention as a result. Though I don't read a lot of fan fiction, I thought the genre was called either just 'Human' or 'Human in Equestria.' 'Alternate Universe' might also be viable for this as well, depending on the story.

This is actually a known issue. Though I cannot say as to why this is happening, the staff is aware and will respond to the existing thread to post any new developments on resolving this bug.

Hello Alianak! Just so you know, the 'Fan Art' section is for posting of one's own artwork to share with the community as well as gaining valuable tips and insight to improve upon one's skills. In addition, the Commissions section is the only area on MLP Forums in which monetary transactions may take place, as stated in the Octavia's Hall Guide. We have quite a few talented artists here that have commission shops set up, so feel free to inquire in anyone of those threads that catches your eye to see if any artist would be interested in the project that you have in mind. With all of that said, I will be locking this thread, but i do wish you the best of luck in have your idea made, as it sounds like a love gift for your daughter. Take care!

I am glad to see that a lot of you are quite excited and we plan to kick off the festivites very soon, so thank you all for your positive feedback! I must say that I am not familiar with the Christmas Charity Drive, but I will certainly bring this up to the rest of the team to see if you can bring this back as it does sound like a marvelous idea. And thank you very much for your questions! Though we are still trying to get everything set up and organized, I will do my best to answer any questions that anyone may have, Currently, we have considered all of the options that you stated in announcing these contests and events to be sure that the entire forums is aware of them and able to participate. A message in the Announcement Carousel (or whatever you wish to call it) as well as a thread in Canterlot Castle will be posted as well as adding events to the calendar (such as submission and voting deadlines) is certainly one option, even if it may be underutilized. We want to be sure that everyone gets the chance to participate and have a good time with this, so we want to sure that word does spreads in any way possible.
