The alabaster mare was about to make a friendly even maybe too about the skills of Selune and Terra but the sudden arrival of karma and the deliver of the group request made her stop "Thanks Mr. Karma" she said receiving the med kid that she placed directly into her saddlebag "If you excuse me Terra, Selune I, have to be sure that everything its ok before our departure" she said to her new acquaintances and trotted back to where the dragon was waiting. "Its time?" he asked her in a soft voice, "Yeah it is" Emi replied. The dragon nooded at that time some of the ponies were already crossing the "portal" Colt went back to his four legs and gaited with Emi to the portal crossing it revealing the room and the surprisingly violent situation that was going on. Atmosphere of hate and confussion filled the place both siblings could notice most it coming from the gray unicorn that introduced himself before. Colt watched the scene from the entrance of the room Emi walked closer to see what was going on it looked like the "crisis" was over and that Chivalry was not going to take this any further. The dragon watched the black shapeshifter listening to his words. Understanding that feeling and the ones from the sword holding unicorn. "Looks like allies can come in all kind of shapes" the dragon whispered but this time not low enough to be silent, this words were meant to the armored mare knight that was shooting her sight like cold daggers onto the dragon. "we all should keep that in mind" he said this time looking at the blue pegasus. It was then when Emi got to the changeling realizing each pony in the room was giving him its name "My name, Its Earth Miracle Mr Crypt and over there its Co..." "Colt" the voice of the dragon interrupted the introduction from her younger sister. Rising up to his hind legs and lowering his hood to reveal his face the dragon said his name "Colt Strahl". Emi smiled a bit and trotted back to his side. They were ready it was time to aid the dream Equestria was.

"well hello Terra thanks for the gentle offer but in fact i think i would be the one saying that" she said bowing like the Canterlor elegant mares do on those uptight events. "It looks like the task the princess is giving us its not just another "lesson" in harmony if you know what I mean" the voice of Emi was a little serious than moments before and her eyes looked the same way. "IlI would like to know what are te "areas of expertise" of everypony in the team so maybe me or my brother could probably help you all during this "witch hunt" "

"They look like a nice group" the dragon thought while looking the group from the end of the room. While his sight toured the room watching the ponies he noticed the blue-gray unicorn looking to his way, he was the one that said hi before the briefing "Chivalry" he remembered the pony name. The dragon thought for a second to say hi, at least raise his paw to make a friendly wave but at the same moment he was about to do it he also felt the stare from the knight over him. For a moment Colt stared into the eyes of Iron Wing it was short lived, not a second after he realized the "intentions" engraved on the mare's eyes and Colt looked away to face the floor hiding his face behind his hood. He knew that kind of eyes, that stare he has always see it in the ponies that called him monster or beast the dragon turned away giving away the ideas of interacting with ponies. On the other side of the room the alabaster pegasus was listening to the small that were starting to build it would be a good idea to know them and to see how she would be able to help them. @nioniosbbbb, @ChivalryKnight, @GingerJoy "Yes it looks like the princess has a good idea of what would be needed on this task" Emi said slowly gaiting towards the chatting group "Oh sorry for the rude interruption" she said with her hoof over her face noticing she was just jumping into the conversation. Colt went back to his calm state the shattering of the tartarus seal was just a crisis by itself thankfully they were still able to stop it. He relaxed back to listen to Karma and the Princess to then follow as instructed. The briefing form the princess ended and as they walked behind Karma Emi whispered to her brother "What the hay was that? " her eyes were fixed in his and a expression of surprise and doubt was all over the mare's face. "Suddenly raising your voice to the princess, were you out of your mind..." the dragon shyly shook his head in response with a serious look in his eyes "So its that important uh?.... we this wont be a trot through the park then" she said knowing the meaning of the dragon's face. "No it wont" "Interesting moving from one point to another wont be a problem... " the dragon thought while looking at the room and the magical devices..."yet this could be a problem" his mind develop some scenarios as he listened to Karma. Colt bowed down to whisper something to Emi's ear. Right after that the white pegasus rushed to Kharma "Sir, is there a way we could keep in contact with each other, I mean between us and with you here at the castle. Also i would like to take a complete first aid Kit bandages and burns ointment please." As this happened the Colt walk to the back of the room, for the first time since entering the castle he stood on his two legs placing his claws on his back resting it against the wall. He stood there watching everypony his eyes bellow his hood looked like shining he was worried about this ponies thinking if they were up to this challenge

The hall as majestic the marble and ivory of the walls, columns and floor made any luxury in Equestria to pale, all was crowned and decorated with golden and silver details that reflected the colorful beams of light that shined in the hall through the stained glass art of the windows. Emi and Colt were shocked at the sight of the place but all of that was whipped the moment the dragon and pegasus placed found the sun herself just before them. Colt froze in place and Emi bowed at her sight and both listened to the ruler of Equestria After the "briefing" Colt felt the itch to raise his eyes to meet the Alicorn once more. As he did his eyes met hers and a warm shiver kind as the light of a sumer afternoon ran down his body. Her violet eyes felt like looking into him he was unable to resist this and once again faced away hiding behind his hood. Emi listened to the "casual chat" the other ponies were having with Celestia, just as the dragon did. The mare was thinking and trying to understand the situation they were into. "She has been looking for aid... she knows that we were not called by her yet she has not say a thing... and now included us into this ordeal, at least her words did so". In his stupor Colt had the same understanding. This statement shook the dragon this was not a preventive movement from the Royal Sisters. The voice of the dragon made it out of his mouth "...You mean the seal is down? " Colt asked with a look on his face that was an example of his concern over this matter he knew of this barrier he learnt from it long ago. "...im sorry your Majesty I didn't meant to interrupt" the dragon said realizing how rude his actions were.

The situation was not improving, both drake and mare realized that other "special guests" were arriving each one of them had a letter with them for sure all of those letters were destined to them unlike the one the unlikely siblings had with them. Emi made a slight respectful curtsy to their host while having a confident look on her face "Thats right but Mercenary is such a wide term we like to call ourselves, helping hooves for hire" it was then when the clasps of a heavy armor got to the attention of Colt and Emi. Brother and sister turned their attention to the red and blue pegasus duo that arrived. As they came closer Colt and Emi were able to feel the "aggression" that sprouted from the armored mare. "That armor that gait, that posture, no doubt she is a part of the guard...we better be careful with those two" the dragon thought, just before his Ideas were interrupted by yet another letter carrier. The dragon tried to hide his face from the friendly unicorn covering his face further ore with his hood he didn't had many good experiences at situations like this before because of that Colt remain silent keeping his eyes and face away from Chivalry. "Oh please excuse him he doesn't talks much..." Emi jumped in between the awkward moment. "you see he is very shy by the way his name is Colt and mine its Earth Miracle or Emi for short... so all of you got the message from the Princess " she asked trying to take the attention out of the scaled one. "A commander!? oh great she is not going to be easy to get of my neck" the dragon thought while listening to the formal introductions that were made as the group made it into the castle for the dragon was a heavy road to walk even with his eyes focusing on the path and the floor he could felt the dagger eyes from the guards and almost listen to their thoughts against him. Emi slowed her pace to walk at the side of the dragon lowering her head to reach his and whispering "We knew it would be like this, try to not over-think it" with a sadden pair of eyes the dragon raised his sigh to her sister "Every one of them want to take me down, even the blue one over there... I wonder how many of them had lost something to dragons" Colt whispered back to her. This were soldiers, warriors and guardians he knew it was very likely that most of them had lost a friend below the flames, claws and fangs of his kind..."It really makes e wonder." Emi understood the ache in his brother and made a soft caress with her head as they walked following their guide.

“After all this time trying to stay away from Canterlot here you are flying straight in… and there they are doing what they are supposed to do” the white coated mare said listening to the echoes of fear from below. “Well it’s the same every town, that’s why we don’t fly during day remember?” her scaled companion said “There is the courtyard lets land before they get ready to fire at us”. Swiftly and unison both mare and dragon landed at some safe distance from the gate. “Its amazing how they just led us fly in. I never expected to be this far into the city with no signal of “self-defense” ” Colt looking around to the armed knights and pony soldiers “Don’t hope for more, the guards are ready to jump on you.” Earth Miracle said to her brother at the moment she noticed the guards getting ready for battle. There was a crowd building around the yard and with it the whispers and echoes from the multitude began “what is that beast doing here?”, “is that mare its tamer?” “why did she brought that monster to Canterlot” “maybe she is here for a reward” Were some of the words the ears from the dragon were able to catch. Ears and eyes from the dragon went down showing the sting he was feeling in his chest, slowly he covered his head with his “wing-hood” and went down to his four legs trying to scape from those scared eyes and fearful words. “Let me handle this OK?” Emi whispered while searching for the royal letter on her saddle bag. Colt was not the very best for public relations and right now the situation was tense, the greeting they got from the mare in white told them so.

From the stairs the golden eyes of Colt watched the ponies were finally all awake and together, for moments he felt a little relax. Though the concerns from the armored knight didn’t left his mind his body was finaly starting to ease down. The pain was still there but as long as he stayed he could feel how little by little his muscles and bones led go the tension and the recovery began. The worried voice from Ice made the dragon strangely more calmed “She is still thinking of others, all of them are, they are becoming a stronger group” as the dragon head bowed he felt his eyes heavy and sleepy. Trying to fight the fatigue the dragon listened to the words Ice gave to the princess of the night. “She is right” the dragon thought “The moon is so very important for the world, but also she is so wrong, they have to succeed no matter what, The Sun choose all of them for a reason, she send them here knowing that they would save Equestria” the self-discussion in the head of the dragon shattered when the Princess once again directed her words to him. The body of the dragon shook at the voice from the regal mare, she was calling his name and there was no possible way he would not attend to her commands “Please excuse me majesty I will ” Colt slowly stood up for a second he thought he wound be able his legs were not responding as he wished them to. “Come on useless dragon, strength up she is calling for you they still need you” he thought as his shoulder sided up the wall helping him once more. Walking down with the torch on palm only three legs helped Colt to move and with his resources those two last steps felt tall as the whole stairway but he was finally down. Following the wall Colt moved a little forward taking the light from fire to the place they were, “Come on don’t fail on me now she is counting on me” the dragon thought as he slowly moved further beyond the light he wished to see if there was a passage to proceed but the limits of the flame glint was unable to deliver without leaving the ponies in darkness. “I cant leave them in the dark ” the thought knowing that he was unable to explore for them. Now with no movement and nothing more that he could possibly do Colt waited for the ponies to make a call, where to move, what to do. Looking back to them he noticed how his injured arm left a trail of red on the wall, “it must have been the same on the stairs” he thought. With his legs now stiff and with the help of the wall the dragon looked at the ponies trying to understand why he was still there still with them.

I have found by talking with many people with this same problem that turning to alcohol as a "way to ease" worries, pain, concerns and in general forget things. Sadly when alcohol makes people forget those bad things people also forget the good things they have. Here in your case you could forget the same very person that is trying to help you because you are important to her life. Your GF is watching you going away to a place where she cant follow, no one can follow you there. She is trying to keep her close to the place where she knows she can make you happy because you make her happy to. You are blessed with the feelings of a special someone, you are part of her life, NO, part of her and the more you hurt yourself she will get hurt too. Its going to be hard and rough but you can do It man, you can overcome this because you are not alone, she is the proof of that and there must be others there for ya. Good luck and stay strong
