    Hmm, this video kept showing up in my recommendations but I never bothered to watch it. I don't think much of videos that get promoted for no good apparent reason. Also the preview pic was creepy. Now after watching it because of this thread, I once again just don't get why everyone portraits Pinkie Pie as a psychopathic maniac bent on killing every other pony. All of this just because of that cupcakes story published ages ago. I mean sure, there's nothing wrong with some fandom ideas here and there, even if it's something like cupcakes, but in my opinion, this whole cupcakes thing has become to much of a representation of who Pinkie Pie is within the fandom for my taste. Just my 2 cents.

    I collect ThinkPads. You know those black laptops. Of course this isn't exactly cheap, so my collection is only progressing very slowly. Why do I collect them? Well, I'm not the only one out there. These machines are really special. I just love the way they look, feel and handle. Using them is just so much fun. What's even more fun is getting a used or broken one and fixing it again. I love spending my afternoons this way. It's more of a hobby really. I hope that one day I'll have all the models I have ever dreamed of.

    Very nice remixes you've got there! I really like how you keep close to the original while still making it sound unique. Now I'm no expert at music or the likes, but in Celestia's Ballad, I would have expected the vocals to be a bit faster to match the beat better. But that's just my opinion. Becoming Popular only needs slightly louder vocals, I thought they were a bit soft. Other than that you did a really good job!

    Since I was born in England I obviously speak fluent English. However, since I was raised in Germany I have for quite some time now gone past the point where I consider myself better at German than English. After all my entire enviroment (except for the internet, and we all know how good internet English is) is German and all I ever get to speak is German. Of course I talk English with my mom but that's mostly just a yes and a no here and there. (or a what's for dinner for that matter) Luckily we receive british television like the BBC, so at least I get to hear some proper English around here. (what they teach us in school is far from what you need in real life)

    Thanks for the comment! It's a bit hard to explain. I guess I just didn't think it through. I had problems getting one of the eyelashes underneath the nose while still retaining her eylid on top of the eye (that blue part) and additonally keeping that eye beneath the grey line that makes up her face. As you can also see the grey line that goes right up to her mane needs to be on top of the mane, but at the same time her face needs to be under her mane. So, yes, it wasn't easy getting all the layers correct. One simple solution would be to place all of those parts on one layer, but that isn't exactly professional. I did this intentionally since it was like that in the original scene as well. Of course I have encounterd scenes with severe animation errors before, but there is no way of telling if you've actually found one or the artists wanted it to be like that. Well that's how it was in the screenshot. But thanks for pointing it out anyway! I really appreciate constructive criticsm like yours! BTW, I fixed a few parts now.

    Behold, the fabulous marshmallow known as Rarity! Not much to say here. Just another vector. I hope this pose hasn't been done before. Had a few problems with the layers but I resolved that issue by placing some stuff on the same layer. As always you can see all of my work on my deviantArt page.

    I live in Germany. As many people know there is no speed limit here. Driving 200km/h on the Autobahn is totally normal over here. The fastest I have driven is something around 180-190km/h. Going much faster just wastes patrol, though at 190 fuel consumption is quite high already anyway. The car I use atm is a Ford Mondeo btw.

    One question: Does it have to be new? If you also consider refurbished or used models you might get something really decent for 500$. You said you know how to replace parts/upgrade etc. and your Toshiba is currently falling apart? Then I can recommend you a used Lenovo ThinkPad. Not only are they built like tanks, they are also easily serviceable. Of course, the only problem might be: You want to game. Now ThinkPads are business laptops and not meant for gaming. However, there are some workstation models with dedicated graphics cards. Sadly, only the newer (very expensive) models have higher end GPU's.     My latest vector. Vinyl was missing a part of her legs and mane in the original scene so I added those to get a complete Vinyl instead of a cropped one. Partial ponies just don't cut it. Well, what else is there to say, I traced the scene from S3E13. I think this might be the first front shot vector of her. At least I haven't seen this floating around anywhere else. As always feel free to comment and stuff like that.

    Yeah, they really are detached like that. I hadn't noticed before either. As for the notebook, I could have added a bit more detail to the ports, but since this was supposed to be an avatar for someone I didn't really care. After all avatars usually get resized to 150x150 anyway. Thanks for the comments so far!

    And Angel found one! Too bad he has paws and no fingers to use it. But like a friend of mine once said, still easier to use a computer with paws than hooves. Nevertheless, the possibilities are like endless! A few words on the picture itself: As you can see it is a vector. Angel was easy to do, I simply traced him from a scene. However the notebook obviously needed to be done freehand. It wasn't easy but I managed it. It's far from perfect but at least it's something. Comments are welcome!

    Apart from colorful ponies you could say I'm "addicted" to ThinkPads. I just can't get enough of those, been buying them non-stop lately. Also, I like to smell certain things like Isopropanol.
