am I the only one who hates dragonflies

I've noticed lately that every thinks of the dragonfly as some majestic create so I was just wondering what your guises opinions are on em. as for me I pick option 5 thier the only living creature on earth I hate. also if you get the references for number 4 or 5 then you are awesome

I've got a pretty bad case of entomophobia myself, so I really don't like any kind of insect at all. Couple that with the arachnophobia I inherited from my mum and you've got a quivering mess when in the presence of anything with more than 4 legs

Eh, dragonflies are fine... a pretty interesting "nature helicopter", I'd say.  But as "majestic creature/insect" for me that would be grasshoppers or mantises or katydids, & the more odd/strange they look, the the more amazing they are.

Well, I don't hate any insect (except for mosquitoes) nor have fears...   but certainly I don't like when any of them is crawling on me - not only that it may bite, but how do I know where it crawled before, especially if that was a pile of crap?!

Eh. Bugs don't really bother me. I took forensics last school year for my 4th science so I wouldn't have to do any science my senior year

 

I had the job of an entomogist so I had to deal with bugs and knowing their life cycle and calculating the approximate time of death using the cycle.

 

Plus we had to collect 30 bugs alive, freeze them and then pin them to a board and identify them.

 

I'm really only scared of cockroaches ;3;

Anyway, I don't feel one way or the other about dragonflies... I'm actually that way about most insects. I wouldn't call them "majestic creatures" though. Certain butterflies maybe, but not dragonflies.

I really dont care about them they can be there or not. But there is a time of year every year when my entire sky is filled with thousands of them it is pretty awesome seeing all different colors. (I honestly dont know why they come here but they dont bother us)

They fly around like lightspeed helicopters and grab other guys out of midair and then eat them while still flying around to go find more bugs. How badass is that?

I think they're pretty cool.  My siblings and I used to love trying to catch them with our bare hands.  They are kind of ugly up close, but at least they're not mosquito hawks.  Those are horrifying.

Ummmm why dragonflies? They don't do any harm and they look awesome so I just don't get it. 

 

What about ticks, spiders, mosquito's, and wasps? Aren't the more worthy of your hate?

I can't stand them. They actually kind of scare me from what they look like, they're disgusting. I have the same feelings towards Ladybugs, oddly enough.

Without dragonflies, then the dragons won't be able to withstand one hit of damage. (50 points to whoever gets my reference).
In all seriousness, dragonflies are big, but I don't mind them too much. I'd say they're pretty cool to look at sometimes, and I've never had a big problem with them.

I think they're cool to watch, but they're kind of creepy and scary especially when they fly straight towards you.
