   Well, that's simple you see.

    Some odd years ago Pancake Parlors were all the rage, but the enterprising handsome young man at the time had not taken into account the demand and had far outweighed the pony populace with more Pancake Parlors proffered then ponies could go through. With too much product going to waste & waning interest, the business in pancakes then busted, but this had long since provided a cultural phenomenon in the nation that had become accustomed to readily available sweet portable comestibles.

  So then did a blond, grey mare rise up & dethrone the previous king of snack cakes with her own product and thereby filling in the gap with a much more filling and applicable alternative. It is said that to this day she still gloats over her victory by interjecting her choice of breakfast food into every oppurtunity, her cackle wafting over the eaves of this unsuspecting small town, for she is known only...

We also found a possible way of getting him this far away from Equestria, but we'll probably discuss that once his OC is fully done.

Anyway, things are fine enough, so no need to worry here, and my dad have gotten diagnosed what's wrong, which thankfully wasn't a particular cruel disease back for round two. Just something with his lungs he needs meds for, so yey.

And speaking about ingesting things, am I going to regret introducing Storm and Pinkie to Anomaly's ecosystem? Something tells me the sugar moles won't be a problem much longer with how they reacted.

Yup, we thought long and hard on how to get him near the dragons, and we came up with a handy solution.

M a g i c

You see, Striking Detail, (we found a name this morning,) was the victim subject of some innocent chaos-magic. He found an old little present Discord had left behind, which teleported him to dragon-land and gave him dragon horns, just for fun. The horns don't give him any special magical abilities, they just make him stand out.

 

The character is almost finished, so he'll probably get in contact soon.

@Holiday Agnaktor   Well, If you don't mind me butting in, as hamfistedly shoving my opinion in where it doesn't necessarily make a difference is sort of my own "special talent."

    You don't really  need to be "out of Equestria." I would say it works easy enough to make a parallel to whatever pre-existing character they have in mind and just simply pretend that they've been in this world all along. After all, that's what RolePlay is essentially, right? Pretending? Like, I'm an interdimensional traveler and you don't see me bringing it up constantly as an example of things! (.....what? Lol) Like, this fandom already has nagas, spiderhorses, two completely different breeds of half-horse & half-dragon and I'm currently with at least one bipedal humanid/insectoid emotional leech! (Wait... didn't mean to insult Happy Hour there...)

   As to getting him out to Dragon Territory and indirectly relating him to aforesaid dragons (Wait... do dragons even have horns here? Wait, yeah, yeah they do. They just seem so changeable as to seem more like a style choice, rather than something specifically reminiscent of dragons.) I suppose the simplest route would be to say, some sort of archaeologist or hermit who went out there to study them and holed up in a cave. I kinda feel like one could pick up an old pair of discarded horns and just use them as a decoration/hair pins. I know I would!

Ooh, advice! I love that stuff.

The horns were a thing already, even before we started getting the idea for RP'ing with the character. Everything I described was already part of the backstory, with the exception being the 'teleporting to dragon-land' thing. That's the extra thing we added to make this RP make sense.

But what you say is still a solid point. I'll keep this in mind whenever I struggle fitting a character in an RP again.

Hey man, I'm the guy my boy @Holiday Agnaktor was talking about. Yeah, I'm a DnD DM and I prefer to build (N)PCs from their flaws up since that tends to give the most interesting stuff, so you don't have to worry about that. If need be, we can change what I created, but here is what I got now: 

Could I join the RP? Since this is my first RP on this site I'm not entirely sure how things go, so help in that regard would be appreciated 

I discussed it a bit with Agnaktor, and we could definitely run a separate timeline where he got teleported to dragonland and got dragon horns instead of ram horns, but really the're the same anyway, aren't they?

Well, char looks fine, so I'll give you a pass. Though I'd suggest you add how he got the horns. Seems important, even if it's something like *he woke up one morning with them, having no idea how it happened*.

Anyway, on to things: The RP would be simple. We'd answer, then wait for the rest to answer before adding another post of our own. Think of it as a turn-based RPG.

As for your horns, matters little to me how he got them or what kind. Long as there comes some sort of info on how, I'm golden. Also, i assume you already discussed how to join the RP with Holiday? If so, you'd likely not need my help with that, so... Pop in and let the magic happen?

@Blitz Boom Ah, I decided to keep the small details as to how he obtained the horns in the fic I wrote about him (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/378081/scoop-of-a-lifetime), but I can see how you easily miss that link in the messy bio. Basically, He touched one of Discord's chocolate milk projectiles somewhere, the chocolate milk transformed him and in the case of the RP I guess, also transported him to dragon-land.

Roleplaying seems simple enough, then. I'll give joining the RP a shot in a few hours, as I have to go somewhere soon.

  Well, okay, what I'm thinking here is that my drake is just a little past teenage years. Like, if Garble was the elder "Young Teen" from that one episode and he's more or less the age of the Main Six who're, like, about eighteen and then... well, probably the same age & height as your boyfriend-dragon... who's name I've forgotten already... heh.

   I suppose I've kind of messed up the timeline what with my little box, but oh well, I don't intend for it to be too lasting of a character anyway.

 Uhhhh... aaand, uhm... odd question. Is Happy Hour going to lock Ambie in his little "Save for Later" Carriage box or something? I don't want things getting too dark with him! I know, I tend to do that, is play the edgy character race without any of the intention to live up to that, like the Forsaken of warcraft! Mines just a sadsack!

 Oh! And another thing about Kaltrop. Maybe, If you can find some way to get to that point that is, you can come around to ask him just why he hates ponies so much. I kind of intend for him to just huffidly sit ontop of Spicy Rolls's wagon (Wagon, carriage or cart? Wonder if I need to know more about that if I'm going to be so vehemently latched onto it?) and get wheeled into Ponyville from there.

 

   OOOh! And can I screw with the healing process?! Like, he's waiting his whole lifetime to get this healed, and I poof him out at the last second! OOOH, the delicious, cruel irony of it all!!

Nah, don't worry about Ambie. Right now, he's showing to be too much trouble, and with how the town knows about Happy now, he can't risk anypony disappearing. Too easy to point hooves at him. Besides, as it stands, he's sure there's something changeling over Ambie, so converting him will likely not do much, if anything, and he's too odd to really be worked as a slave anyway, so Ambie's perfectly safe. Happy's just gonna see if he can drill some answers out of him, or this will end up bugging him (Pun intended) for a long time.

As for the dynamic duo of Kaltrops and Spicy, I can lead towards asking what his grief is with ponies, soon as I've gone through some more bashing of him about why he doesn't want any sort of loot and such. I don't know if you can tell it, but Spicy's a bad, greedy pony with little to no morals about doing things, long as she's in the clear and it can turn a profit.

And her just wandering off with him still on the roof all stubbornly is an option by the way. I can see that happen for sure.

Oh right, and the cart thing. I don't exactly know what to call it, but I think cart was right. It's a thing she can drag along, and have some parts that can be opened so it works as a sort of *vendor stall* just with her loan business instead of something like fruits, as well as a bit of bragging about how she's an awesome card player, such as a few rewards and such. Not the big ones though, she'd have a house for that kind of thing.

It should also have the option of a roof to be dragged out so she can stay dry when it rains, unless the wind's a bit strong of course. That'd be seven kinds of bad, and she'd likely have to hide in the... Cart, or whatever it is. I'm fuzzy on what to call it when you question it honestly, but it should have some space for hiding out in. Like with Happy's cart and the box he sleeps on in there.

Also, what's the healing talk? I don't understand that one.
