Favorite Species of Pony and Why?

If I had to choose it would have to be a pegasus,because then I would be able to fly,and life for me would be reasier and less of a hastle.

id be happy to be anypony personally but if i had a choice id go with unicorn because i don't like flying and being a earth pony just seems kinda boring (no offence meant) i mean im already a earth pony (well brony to be exact) so id wanna be different.And magic seems like alot of fun to learn/master.

This is VERY hard for me. I'd choose Pegasus since they can fly but ever since i saw "Baby Cakes" I now like unicorns. This is because unicorns can use their magic to fly! Plus unicorns are naturally beautiful! Have you ever seen an ugly unicorn? Well of course not! Plus if a unicorn tried hard enough they could grow their own wings?  Plus have you ever noticed that only unicorns eventually become princesses? But if alicorn was an option I'd choose that. But anyways here's my order from favorite to least favorite.

 

1. Alicorn (If possible)

2. Unicorn

3.Pegasus

4. Earth Pony (I don't hate them i just wouldn't want to be one since they have no special abilities)

Either earth pony or unicorn.

 

Earth pony because they manage to get by without any wings nor magic.
That makes me think they're the strongest minded ponies of all. To see other ones doing things that you never would be able to do, must be pretty rough.

 

Unicorn because they got so much potential through their magic.

@ Lightning Dancer - Not entirely true; Cadence was originally a pegasus before Celestia adopted her as a niece and later transformed her into an alicorn.

 

Really, any one of the three types can become an alicorn, provided they meet Celestia's character requirements.

I'd more than likely be an Earth Pony. I don't really see myself with any special powers or the ability to fly, so, I'd more than likely wake up an Earth Pony...

Earth ponies know the value of hard work. They have to adapt without wings or magic. Not to mention they are the strongest and fastest. The Earth Pony tribe could most likely have functioned independently.

I want to be a pegasus! They are awsome! They fly, control weather, and can hold things with their wings! How cool is that?! I think its awsome. I even made my OC a pegasus. The words above his head, ignore them. Thats not his name anymore.

Unicorn all the way. I mean, you can use magic to give yourself wings anyway like in Sonic Rainboom.

 

Also, has anyone picked earth pony yet? Seriously, that'd be so boring unless you were like Pinkie Pie who defies the laws of physics.

@MLP_JoshF - I actually don't think any one race is superior to the other two; each have their own distinct advantages (Earth ponies are the strongest and have the most endurance/stamina, pegasi are the fastest and most agile, and unicorns have magic/projectiles and excel at ranged tactics).

 

I only picked unicorn because of personal preference for their magic, not any form of superiority complex.

I love Earth ponies because they're normal. They rely on their closeness to the earth to plant and harvest crops and support themselves. They're hard-working too.

I love all of them, but I think Pegasi are my favorites. I just love the thought of being able to fly and manipulate the weather

 

In order of favorite to least favorite for me, it would probably be:

 

Pegasi

Earth Ponies

Crystal Ponies

Unicorns

Alicorns

 

(And no, I don't hate Alicorns)

I give all of the pony races my love but, I have a sincere love for Pegasus ponies and Earth Ponies earn my love easily. So, they all deserve the love from all of us.

My favorite would have to be Earth Ponies or pegasi. Really earth ponies because they are the most hard working race between the three races.

 

They don't need magic or wings to survive or shortcut though their work.

Earth ponies are the ones I relate with the most.

They represent a lot of the principles and ways of life I approve of.

They don't have a lot of the fancy powers the others have, but they don't let that change their views of ponies as a whole and they remain humble.

I'd say unicorn, because I canrelate to unicorns more, with all their intricities and large, articulate vocabulary. I'm not saying I'm a TOTAL grammar freak or OCD maniac, but I just don't like things to be be... you know, messy.
