How You've Grown Recently

A Black Circle

I've recently come to appreciate people's efforts more and realized that if you just look at things from other people's perspectives you can see that we're all the same in so many ways and judging others is basically the same as judging yourself.

I think I've mellowed out a bit since last posting on here and I'm a little bit more confident too.  Transitioning has helped ease some of my anxiety and I've finally found a good therapist and a proper dose for my meds.  Definitely a better person.  I'm not where I absolutely want to be but I'm working towards that ideal life.

I feel the same although I wouldn’t say I didn’t  learn anything over the past years and so forth.

I've grown a lot recently, especially in the last year. :D  Before, I was a very different and angry person. :worry: I made it a point to complain about everything I didn't like, I would be cursing left and right and I'd always be quite hurtful to others. I think everyone in school still thinks I'm that person, hence why they never talk to me. :( If I could go back and change everything, I would. But as crazy as it sounds, I have the ponies and all of you to thank for getting me out of that. :mlp_icwudt: The person I am now is not the same person I was two years ago and as I say, I know that the ponies and all of you are the ones who made me a better person. :pinkie:

I’ve grown in terms of living by common sense and not accepting everything others tell me without consideration. I’m also in a permanent state of (attempted) self-improvement which includes getting better at art, writing and learning another language.

I think I'm always improving and growing, as I love to learn more about myself and the world. To just accept myself is a very big step! I mean I could try and pretend to be someone else, but I would suck at it. If I just stay true to myself, I will be the best me I possibly can! Unbeatable! :squee:

- My art has improved enough to where I can look back and say “huh, that’s not bad”

- I feel a lot more mature than I used to as I don’t ride on people’s opinions much anymore and I feel like I handle a few things better

- I would not have written this list a few years ago without adding some self deprecation to it, so this list in itself is an improvement
