How honest are you?

* for the most part i am an incredibly honest person. i just tell little white lies here and then that don't really hurt anyone. it's pretty uncommon for me to have one of those snowball moments where you tell a lie and can't get out of it.

I'm normally extremely honest, while keeping it lighthearted so no one's hurt if that's a possibility.

 

A couple weeks ago I was a stupid and accidentally broke my grandma's lamp. I told her it fell over (which it did) but the way I said it implied that I wasn't directly involved. So I guess I'm between "wordsmith" and "aj honesty (with a pinkie pie twist?)"

I do tend to be guilty of wordsmithing, but I'm attempting to be nothing but honest nowadays. Also, I won't do messed up things so I don't have anything that I'd want to cover up in the first place.

It's "saving my lies for future use". I never lie, (at least, they don't find out that I lie,) and later, if I say something, they will automatically believe it. Being known for honesty is great for lying.

I'm a horrible person.

 

So I don't really have a problem with lying, but I keep them to a minimum.

I lie quite a bit. But, more then often it's to not make someone feel angry or upset. Like when people ask me to do something I really don't want to do, or loaning someone money when I really, really, really don't want too.

In real life im not honest with everything. Well i mean, nobody asks me about private things, so i guess, i technically dont lie.

I can say this for myself: I'm usually an honest person. I do lie sometimes because there are times where it is actually better to lie, and even then I try to (and awkwardly fail) to make my lies as believable and as close to the actual truth as I possibly can. I'm a pretty decent liar if I do say so myself!

I am as honest as I need to be. Obviously, honesty is an easy way to prove you are trustworthy since it is easier to remember what you are or have done when you are being honest, instead of making up lies that must be remembered.

I’m honest to an extent. I’m not brutally honest. I’m not looking to hurt anyone’s feelings.

However one thing I will say is I like to get a feel for people I know to see how well they can take honesty. 

If you ask for my opinion then as your friend I find it important you know that dress isn’t for you. Am I gonna be outright you look terrible? Of course not that’s mean. I’ll put it in a way of maybe trying some others on. I’m not going to lie to you and say you look amazing in it when it’s unflattering. I’ve seen this happen so many times. They don’t tell her it’s unflattering, it doesn’t fit you well and then they run and make fun of said girl for wearing such an outfit. The girls the laughing stock of the event because her friends didn’t tell her. 

Granted there are some people who only want to hear they look good and get upset if you say otherwise. Those people you can’t help. 

At the end of the day it’s you and whatever your happy with that matters. If you want my opinion on your makeup and you’ve got waaaaay too much on. I got you, let’s fix it. I won’t lie to you and let you get made fun of.

I try to avoid lying as that always comes back to bite you in the ass, so instead if I need to not tell the whole truth I'll just be as vague as possible. That way it's not technically lying, but it's not really being super honest, either.
