Oh wow, finally a car thread!

 

Oh so many thanks to you, Nectar Bluegrass, I've been wanting this for a while but didn't think it would take off. Seems there are more than just a handful of us bronies that care about cars!

 

OK, onto the list. The first two are my current rides, the rest are cars I hope to get in the future:

 

1. 1979 AMC Pacer D/L Wagon, was one of my childhood dream cars. Always thought it looked like a cross between a Chevy Nomad and a VW Bug. Love this car to death, took me over half my life to find it (they are extremely rare, although not overly valuable) and I will most likely never sell it.

 

2. 2006 Ford Mustang Fastback, my daily driver. Yes, car in the picture is my actual one. I really wanted a 1970 Ford Mustang or a 2004 Mach 1, but my parents wanted me to have something newer than '05 that wasn't a stick (they're helicopter parents at times). I actually think that I've grown to have this body style as my favorite of all Mustangs. As in, ever. Great fun to drive, 22 MPG (if you don't drive like a complete Hoon, something I wouldn't know anything about ), just as reliable as the Corolla I had before, and SO good looking.

 

3. 1989-91 Honda CRX Si, the one that got away. A buddy of mine had a '91 Si with a K-Swap back when I was in high school, and I loved that car. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money when he offered to sell it to me . He sold it to a guy out of Wichita, and 3 years later I still haven't been able to find out what happened to it. If I had one, it'd be getting restored into a cosmetically correct Barbados Yellow Si. Don't know what route I'd go engine-wise, I'll cross that bridge after I've bought one.

 

4. 1983-87 BMW 635CSi, the supermodel. I mean, come on, this car is absolutely gorgeous! This is hands-down my favorite Beamer, and IMO one of the best looking cars of all time. Also, I don't think you could get a whole lot more '80s than this, it's right up there with Duran Duran and Member's Only jackets. It's a spectacular place to give your old Poison cassettes some airplay whilst still looking dignified.

 

5. 2002-03 Subaru WRX STi, Pinkie Pie in car form. Always jumping up and down, always hyper, running at full bore constantly and never slowing down-never WANTING to slow down. This car lives the fast life, and loves ever second of it. It's not aggressive, it's just being playful, and inadvertently running circles around much pricier cars in the process.Also, between you and me, those bugeye headlamps are ADORABLE

 

BONUS: Trabant with a Hyabusa engine swapped in. A communist East German car made out of fiberglass with a near-enough 300 horsepower Japanese super bike engine placed in its engine bay. Yes, I'm entirely that insane.

I have two current automocars 

first is what i use for everyday driving when i'm at home around the city (they're not exotic cars here so you can buy them fairly cheap second hand) the second is what i use when doing work stuff or going hunting or what ever and the bottom two are what i want to some day own the camo one is a new toy the Australian Army is getting hopefully they make a Civilian version

I don’t know much about cars, so my opinion of them is probably much different than of a person who is an avid car fan.

My favourite car is the Saturn Vue (2008 model). Saturns aren’t even being made anymore, but I grew up with Saturns and that car was my first car. I’ll always have a soft spot for it!!

Wish I could own a Ford Crown Vick, but I 1. Don’t need it, 2. Can’t be saving for other luxuries right now. Plus it probably wouldn’t be as fuel efficient as a Nissan Altima (also something I’d like).

The Corvette, especially the C6 Corvette. The back end is just gorgeous. It's mildly upsetting that they removed the circular lights and changed it to a more angular style with the C7 and C8. Those cars still look good, but they don't feel quite like Corvettes anymore.

My favorite car is in my very own driveaway  Oh I guess it isn’t considered a car. Oh well. I have an affinity for second gen Ram trucks as you all know.
