I honestly don't care that the whole thing is fan service, what honestly did anybody expect other than that? It's not like mlp is some intense story driven drama anyways, so I don't see the harm in a little fun.

  The fandom is *always* destroyed or butthurt when it comes down to something about this show xD! No the fandom is not going to disappear because of this episode and yeah sure some people may not like the over indulgence of fan service but that is alright. It's down to you and how you enjoyed the episode yourself. That is what matters most honestly. It's cool to discuss the episode and criticize it as well of course. Hearing others opinions/takes on the episode is also very interesting to see compared to how I enjoyed it myself. But whenever I see the fandom getting super butthurt or making silly claims like "oh no the whole fandom is doomed because of a certain thing" that is just plain silly.

 

I watch the show for my own pleasure and if I don't happen to like a episode that's fine. Not every episode of the show is going to be 5 star material and I know that. But in the 5 seasons of this show I have to give it my respects because I think it is going really strong in my opinion.

Looks like top-notch appeasing to me, and boy was it a fandom reinforcer. Only so little room left now for the minority who didn't revel in the fanon headcanons became canon in front of our eyes to complain about.

Overall, this was a decent episode. Some things were off (really off), but it was a nice fanservice episode. Not the best of its kind, but still well done.
