2. Twilight spell gone wrong splits Pinkie in two, one too happy and one too sad.

3. (Least to happen) Discord returns but this time he expects the Mane 6 and defeats them, but then Octavia and Vinyl kick his flank.

4. Mane 6 venture into The Gates of Tautarus for some reason.

For some reason, I'd like an episode where the main ponies go on a camping trip. The thought randomly popped into my head. Maybe it's because of that Rainbow Dash's camping trip playset, I don't know.

I've always wanted to see an episode where Twilight is "forced" to run Carousel Boutique for a while and revels in making it more efficient but not without having to hire other ponies to help her and learn a lesson on the value of teamwork along the way.

 

I'd also be interested in an episode where Twilight is looking over all her letters to Princess Celestia and discovering that they are full of contradictory lessons, and struggles to reconcile them, to learn (somehow) that lessons cannot be divorced from the context in which they were learned.

 

I've also wanted an episode that develops Mayor Mare's character beyond that of an ineffectual speech-giver, and an episode that deals with politics and why people tend to give up their principles to support candidates they don't necessarily agree with.

Cutie Mark Search Party

The Cutie Mark Crusaders get separated in the Everfree Forest whilst trying to earn explorers' cutie marks. Lost, tired, and hungry, the Crusaders must seek the assistance of local wildlife to reunite with their friends and return to Ponyville. But how will the wildlife react to the presence of these three fillies on their turf? And when the Mane 6 notice their absence, will they be able to find the lost Crusaders in time?

 

TS: "We have to organize a search party."

PP: "Twilight, how could you even suggest that? Our friends are missing - this is no time for a party."

This idea just came to me because of the poll I created on my dA page.

 

While Discord Gently Weeps

 

One night in the Canterlot Labyrinth, the statue of Discord is taken by an unknown pony. The next morning, while on a gentle stroll about the royal grounds, Princess Celestia notices that it is missing and quickly contacts Twilight and the Mane 6. The Mane 6 rush over to Canterlot to see it for themselves. Meanwhile, back in Ponyville, the Discord statue randomly pops up in different parts of town. The townsfolk are scared but then realize it's just the statue and go about their business.

 

However, when their backs are turned, Discord is mobile and touches/attacks the unsuspecting pony, thus transporting them to an alternate world full of chaos. Hearing that ponies are disappearing back in Ponyville, the Mane 6 rush back home to deal with it. At first they have no idea how the statue is moving or where the missing ponies went until a stallion emerges from his blue-colored hut on the edge of town: Doctor Hooves.

 

The Doctor explains to them everything he saw and that he's researched strange things involving statues and missing ponies. Anyways, at the end of the episode, they trick the Discord statue into being looking at itself in a mirror, the banished ponies teleport back, and Discord is put back in the Labyrinth with a decorative mirror facing him.

Episode idea for season 3: Diamond Tiara loses all her money.

 

Exactly as it says on the tin. An episode (a CMC/DT one) where the Rich family goes bankrupt and all the wealth, status and fake friends (ie Silver Spoon) that has inflated Diamond Tiara's ego is stripped from her. She even loses her precious tiara. And of course, she's as miserable as sin over it.

 

The CMC, I imagine, would at first feel a sense of justified schadenfreude, a view that would most likely be shared with a large number of fans, considering this is Diamond Tiara we are talking about. She has been nothing short of horrible to them, so in their view, her situation could not have happened to a filly more deserving. But of course, since the CMC are good kids, they will eventually take pity on her and try to cheer her up so she can adjust to her new life, and maybe even try and teach her friendship.

 

After several long, painful attempts, they finally start to break through to her and Diamond Tiara actually starts to befriend the CMC, doing stuff with them and overall becoming a nicer filly.

 

Now, this is where it comes to a crossroads; Diamond Tiara could actually learn friendship, becoming a permanently changed filly and truly becomes friends with the CMC, ending it on a high note. OR in a convenient twist, the Rich family somehow become rich again and her precious tiara is returned to her, and she instantly dismisses everything she's learned and the CMC and turns back into a spoiled brat. OR her family regain their wealth and status, but she does NOT dismiss everything she's learned and is still a changed filly for the better.

So it starts off as the cutie mark crusaders are at Zecora's house and they're telling scary stories. Zecora then tells them the legend of slendermane, an evil creature that looked like a pony that lived in the woods, tall, thin, and faceless with tentacle-like appendages protruding from it's back. They tell the story of how the good ponies that'd stay home with their parents, slendermane wouldn't bother. However, the bad ponies that'd go into the evergreen forest would get taken up by him, never to be seen again. Anyways I think it should be the season 3 premiere, it starts as Twilight goes into the woods and encounters slendermane, pinkie pie becomes masky, and rainbow dash is Alex aka the one who goes missing. I wanted to see a Marble Hornets, Slenderman style video... so what do y'all think?

You had me at "Slendermane". See, they make references to things like, in this case popular culture, all the time. But the way you're putting it will be too resembling to the actual thing to the point where they mention the name. They just can't do that thing in this kind of business.

 

As far as referencing Slenderman, the farthest I thhik they can go is dress up one of the mannequins in Carousel Boutique with a suit and tie to somewhat resemble it/him, without even saying its/his name.

Hi everypony my name is Tropical if you don't know. And today I am going to share with you an episode idea. It has all the mane six in but pinkie has the starring role so in the paragraph bellow. !ENJOY! :

 

(Twilight is in Rarity's shop looking for nightmare night costumes)

 

Twilight: Wow Rarity these costumes are gorgeous I mean they are so pretty how do you do it.

 

Rarity: Oh darling its just natural talent.

 

(Twilight starts do stroke Rarity's mane.)

 

Twilight: Wow Rarity how do you make your mane so nice.

 

Rarity:Well I Better go.....

 

(Rarity leaves to go to apple acres to get some apple fritters)

 

Applejack: Well howdy Rarity,here's your apple fritters freshly made.

 

Rarity: Wow Applejack how do you make these so nice and how are you so strong to buck those trees?

 

Applejack: Well ummmm I better go to ummmmm Fluttershy's place yeah ummm, see ya sugercube.

 

(Applejack rushes off to Fluttershy's cottage)

 

Fluttershy: Oh hey there Applejack how are you doing?

 

Applejack: Well shucks am doing fine sugercube, I was wondering can I have a go of playing with the animals?

 

Fluttershy: Of course Applejack but don't be rough...

 

(Applejack charges after the animals the run off petrified! Fluttershy calms them down and turns to Applejack)

 

Applejack: Am soo sorry about that sugercube please forgive me!

 

Fluttershy: Well um I forgive you

 

Applejack: Great! How do you do that with the animals? It's amazing..

 

Fluttershy: Ummm I got to go buh bye...

 

(Fluttershy runs up and see's rainbow dash nearby doing some amazing tricks)

 

Fluttershy: Wow Rainbow dash how do you do those amazing tricks? And and be soooo daring?

 

Rainbow dash: Its called being 20% cooler, any way I have to go to this quiz THE WINNER GETS A WONDERBOLTS COSTUME awesome!!!

 

(Rainbow dash flies off to a quiz in a big building she sits down in her seat right next to twilight)

 

Rainbow dash: Hey Twilight didn't know you wanted a wonderbolt costume.

 

Twilight: Oh no I just love quizes!

 

(After a long quiz twilight wins and takes the wonderbolt costume and but Rainbow dash is very down. The episode cuts to pinkie pie dancing around ponyville)

 

Pinkie pie: Wooohooo! Hey wait where is everypony?

 

(Pinkie looks around she see's Twilights cottage she rushes in)

 

Pinkie pie: Twilight Oh Twlight Where are you, Are we playing hide and seek??

 

(Twilight comes out of her room she has her mane and tail like rarity's)

 

Twilight: Oh hey pinkie pie I mean darling.

 

(Pinkie pie looks confused and runs to rarity's shop)

 

Pinkie pie: Helloooooo Rarity?

 

(Rarity Come out with her hair in a ponytail and a cowboy hat on her head.)

 

Rarity: Howdy Pinkie pie!!

 

(Pinkie pie even more confused than before runs out to apple acres)

 

Pinkie pie: Applejack oh applejack?!?

 

(Applejack comes out with fluttershys mane and tail)

 

Apple jack: Umm Hi

 

Pinkie Pie: What Is Going On Around Here?

 

(Pinkie runs off quickly to Fluttershy's cottage)

 

Pinkie pie: Helloooooooo Fluttershy?

 

(Fluttershy opens the door with a mane like Rainbow dashes)

 

Fluttershy: Sorry am ummm to busy being 20% cooler.

 

(Fluttershy slams the door shut pinkie pie is ultra confused she rushes to rainbow dash's cloud)

 

Pinkie Pie: Rainbow dash something weired is going on!?!

 

(Rainbow dash answers Pinkies call but she is reading a massive book and has a mane and tail like Twilights)

 

Pinkie Pie: THIS ISN'T HAPPENING.

 

(Screen Cuts to Song)

 

Twilight: Oh I Wish To Be Like Rarity So Elegant And Pretty Like Her Oh So Amazing Like Rarity.

I don't have an episode idea specifically at the moment, but I do have to say that I think this topic should be pinned, and -possibly- moved, personally. Episode ideas is a generic, ergo popular topic idea, and to that end, I've seen three or so singular episode ideas posted in Show Discussion in the past few days alone. I imagine it's a hassle to cross merge them from one forum to another, since sectional mods are screwed out of doing that. Just seems like it'd be easier to pin this topic over in Show Discussion, since it's discussing potential additions to said show.

There is trouble in Fluttershy's woods when animals are being bullied by other animals and the bullies take territory. When Fluttershy tries to shoo them away the parents of the bullies (bigger animals) begin to bully Fluttershy.

 

Rainbow Dash gets in trouble for speeding or an accident and is penalized to not fly again until her case is resolved. She becomes depressed and loses her character. Possibly a flying license is confiscated.

 

Ponies that conflict with one another's personalities get a body switch due to a magic mishap. Like Applejack and Rarity get a body switch and then they become expected to do the duties the original owners were meant to do.

 

Rarity gets a fashion rival and possible opposing element for later episodes.

 

There is a weather mishap in which the pegasus cannot control the weather and it acts randomly when the moon goes out of order. This is possibly an episode for Luna.

 

Dragons or scandinavian-like ponies that come in leather jackets and with a very biker gang or viking feel come and try to take over Ponyville or they could come to pillage it. I think dragons would fit the bill seeing as they spit fire and smoke like exhaust pipes. The gang will come every week to take their tribute and the ponies have to do something about this problem. Unfortunately Celestia has business elsewhere and the gang has Spike locked up and unable to send her any messages.

 

The origins of the Elements of Harmony revealed. And more detail on it too as an episode.

 

Phillies and colts are beginning to be ponynapped at night and clues lead to the Evergreen Forest.

 

Rich Canterlot-like ponies begin to invade Ponyville and attempt to take over private businesses with chain businesses like Sugarcube, Rarity's shop, and even Twilight's library.

 

The six mane come across a pony village where unicorns and any magic users are persecuted. Magic is hated in this village and as a sign of wickedness.

Oh I forgot an episode where the "socially awkward ponies" get together to solve a problem that requires... social skills. There would be Fluttershy, Luna and maybe one more pony that is socially awkward.

Celestia takes on a second apprentice- Trixie. It appears that Trixie has changed her ways, and Twilight grows to trust her, but the rest of her friends won't give her the time of day.

 

I'd like some back-story about how Celestia and Luna took down Discord 1000 years ago. Also, I'd like to know what went so wrong 1000 years ago that caused Luna to go rogue.

 

Tartarus was mentioned, and Cerberus made an appearance. Cosmic adventure story. Titans, anyone?
