I would love to play drums or electric guitar (I'm a beast at Guitar Hero/Rock Band :P)

However, I don't really have the money to buy instruments.

Wow. Old topic. lol.

We just had an new instrument topic recently, I believe. Anyway, I can use this post to say that I just recently got a tenor saxophone and am now learning that.

I play Piano, Harp, Tin (Penny) Whistle, Ukulele, Didgeridoo (thats the kinda thing that I pick up and can go for one breath), Fife, Fiddle, And the Accordion, I dont take music lessons for any of these, I just play by ear, I pick them all up on occasion and fiddle around with them, The one I am best at would be Piano Tin Whistle and Ukulele.

My family and I LOVE music, That is why we have all of these instruments.

Trumpet player here :), i play in my highschools band. I love marching season to much already(And its only my freshman year)

We have the most awesome band director ever, and so many awesome people in band so it makes music all the more fun for me.

Since I'm only in marching and concert bands we don't really play much other then the normal orchestral type music, We play some random pop tunes while in the stands though, we don't have a jazz band unfortunately(I wish we did.)That doesn't stop some people from trying to jazz up stuff though :P.

I played for like 3 years or something, then quit for a year and started back last year again, remembered everything pretty fast and I guess I'm doing pretty stable(I could always be doing better of course.)

So yeah, music is pretty awesome and just so amazing, it can make you feel all kinds of emotions and speak words that are unspeakable sometimes.

So basically music is awesome :).

That is all :D

I play electric bass guitar and a little bit of keyboard, but mainly bass guitar because I find that more fun. I've been saving up for an 8 string bass, it's kind of like a 12 string guitar... but it's a bass and it has 8 strings.

Well I started in 4th grade and played the viola. I was pretty good at it and also play Violin at times when we were short on Violin players. then In 6th grade I switched from the strings to brass and played trumpet. Trumpet right now is my current instrument I play, but I still practice on my Viola and Violin. I took piano classes in 8th grade and play piano in the jazz band at my current school. I mainly play classical music on my instruments, but time to time I play jazz music and once in middle school some rock music in a special performance with a small group playing take on me (Reel Big Fish). Honestly I sometimes ask myself, "why the heck do I still stick with this?" I don't know if its the fact that I always love the classical music we play, or the fact I maybe want to major to being a music teacher. meh, either way, I'm gunna take my mastery of the arts and make my life out of it :D.

Did I mention I compose few-second-long cycles with Beatwave on my iPad? Cuz I do.

But after I bought that finger piano from the museum, I also play short tunes on it.

Here's a sample of two such tunes. There were more on my harddrive, but they're momentarily gone until I either find the files or redo them.

well, being mostly a rock fan, I do play the guitar, mainly my stratocaster, and I also play the keyboards a bit; also wanted to learn drums a couple of years back but that didn't really turn out so great; still, interesting experience XD

I use to play the recorder in elementary school (I was pretty good). I kinda know how to play the piano (would love to take lessons). I probably could find that on youtube.

Back in my musical course in year 3 of high school, I tried to play electric guitar but I really sucked at it so I started to play the drums and throughtout a year and a half of practicing I started to get gradually better (thanks to my friend who helped me get started at the instrument) and I even co-played the drums in a song in the final show of our school that took place in my final year of high school (someone played the main drums while I played an electronical drums aside of him) and I even got a clip of it somewhere. At the drums, I got to the point of playing not that badly at this instrument, but it's been two years of not touching the instrument, so I kinda want to play on a drumset like really soon.

Bass and Drums are somewhat similar since they both focus on the rhythm, it's a good combo if you decide to pick it up.
